A lot of you are so insufferable and ridiculous. How can you expect youngsters in a game were we are fighting for top 4 and our current squad is still available. Do you guys ever rest with your whining?
    1) The current team is AWFUL and have been the reason why top 4 is out of our hands.
    2) People aren't asking for 11 youngsters, but actually just one, maybe two. Why can't Gomes or Chong play ahead of Rashford who has been shit for months?
    3) The team has been shit for five years in general, with the occasional purple patch. People have every right to be insufferable because they've had enough.

People moaning about not playing youth need to get a grip.

Top 4 is still mathematically possible and considering Arsenal are away to Burnley on the last day, Tottenham are depleted, playing midweek and have Everton and Chelsea have Watford today and are away to Leicester on the last day it's far from over.

He's a manager of Manchester United, he's not just going to play kids on a whim because people on here are bored of this season and the first team.

Yes Ole we are still in for top 4 so yeah keep giving games to players who have been utter shite in our last 10 or so games.

    All talk.

I actually wish he wouldn't use their nicknames. He is the manager not their best mate.

    Solskjaer explains team selection

“Yeah, Eric and Rom are injured.,” he told MUTV

“So Aleixs and Jonah come in for them, and then Scotty has been very bright in training. Ander has been out for a while, so Scotty got the nod today.”
I commented on Ole's nickname use a while back.Yes,it sounds trivial but Ole is the manager not 'one of the lads'.He needs to be the authority here.

We are where we are (challenging for top four) because Ole took over management of the club and promptly led us to 10 league wins on the trot.

God knows where we would be in the table if Jose was still in charge.
I meant more as a whole, not much interested in this top 4 thing.

It's going to be funny when we go into season and Ole will keep picking the likes of Young and Matic.

Thought more young players would get in the squad. Solskjaer keeps talking about being ruthless but we still keep seeing the same recycled names.
    Lost interest tbh.
Who would you put in place of DDG? He’s cost us points in a few games now. Everyone is on about ‘youth’ but forgot the keeper

It’s laughable on here it really is:lol:

Huddersfield have scored just nine home league goals this season. In top-flight history, no side has ever failed to reach double figures for home goals in a single campaign......

This game is like a final given the current circumstances. Chong and gomes would never start a final so why should we expect them to start this game? We have to win this game with our current best players and we know chong/gomes dont have the experience/better than rashford so its pointless.

Yes we all want to see youngsters but lets be a bit realistic and not go full TOP Red everyday.

We're chasing top four, mate. We can't afford to risk playing inexperienced youth players who may or may not be ready to make the step up.

Is that really so difficult to understand?

Don’t worry they will score today, we concede on average 1.3 goals a game.

Jones and Young, Mata and Sanchez, no youth. Mata being offered new contract to go along with those signed by Jones, Young and Smalling.
Ole is beginning to really grind my gears. Also, wish he'd stop using nicknames for the players, he is the manager not their best friend. Maybe that's me just being a miserable old fart though.

Youth is likely to get the top 4 than the players that had squandered the chance.

Why am I see people suggesting that we are in the race for top 4? We are not and only hoping the other teams lose their match which is ridiculous when there is 2 games left.

Top 4 would be a chance if we had beaten Chelsea which we failed to do and top it off we had no chance in that game.

He's literally digging his own grave with continued selections like this.

Why does he want to keep mata so badly? He doesn't fit in with the style Ole supposedly wants to play? Mata's been a good servant but it's time to move on.

    Young playing again.

    Starting deadwood like Jones.

He's gonna be sacked in September at this rate.

So we can continue to play the so called experienced players who have been shit for months and in some cases a year? What does Young have to do to get dropped? What does Rashford have to do to get dropped? Why do you think Gomes/Chong are not talented enough to start?

Is that really so difficult to understand?

Like I said while we have a chance of 4th, doesn’t make
Sense to throw kids in. If it’s done by the last game I’m sure we’ll see them
And then the Caf can destroy them if they don’t win 7-0
I just don’t understand this concept we are still in the top 4 so we can’t play youth.

The shitty players are the reason we are in this position. They had their chance against Chelsea and fecked it up.

Top 4 is not for us to play but to pray. We should let the youth have their chance who would show energy and most importantly talent to play.

Would've put Dalot in for Young, but other than that i'm not sure what more he could do with his selection. He probably picked the best team he could considering the situation.

I really find it irritating. He is saying he has to be ruthless. I just cannot see it. How hard is it to just say Phil or Scott.
Lets be honest,Ole does say a fair amount of cringey stuff since he's comeback.
No wonder he used to be a Liverpool fan.

I'm sure Ole will be ruthless,he has to be if he wants to be a success here as manager.

They’re the reason why we not in the top 4 so why keeping playing them, Dalot has proven he’s better then Young, Sanchez has been shit ever since he’s been here so why not give Gomes or Chong a chance
