Antoine Griezmann signs for Barcelona or maybe not?

It just shows you how a top club striving to improve should be run.

United persist with the likes of Lingard, Young and Jones giving them endless opportunities even though they have been stinking the place up for years.

Barcelona have Coutinho, Dembele and Malcolm and they could easily say ‘let’s give them another year to see if they can progress’, but no, they go out and sign Griezmann. And De Jong.
 
Will be interesting to see how him and Messi fit.

Coutinho is being sold.

What do you mean it was already Barcelona? If it was only last season with the ridiculous La Decision bullshit, then fair fecks to him.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is another panic move from the Barcelona board.

I don't see how Messi and Griezmann fit together.

Griezmann is much more of a SS type than a lone striker.
 
There's not much to suggest Dembele will be sold
Coutinho is 99% gone
Malcom won't be used much anyways if Valverde stays. Might be loaned/sold

How are Barca affording all this? That's nearly £200m spent already this summer and they still want De Ligt.

Yeah after their Roma debacle last season.

They don't fit together at all. I'd be surprised if they manage to get the best out of Griezmann.

Would have tried signing wingers and not a support striker.
