Plays more like an eight than a ten today. Deep in the build up.

Did just catch the first half. Missed a bit of intensity in his game when not on the ball in that half. Almost seemed a bit too confident.Always plays like that, although he's played a lot higher up in the second half.
He’d be a great replacement for Eriksen. As before, I'd be happy for Spurs to sign him.
Obviously a lot depends on whether or not Villa get promoted. If they do, then no chance he'll leave … or at least not for whatever money Spurs might offer.
If they don't, then game on. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to join Spurs.
a late reply but he easily gets in, imo. So bloody good every time I watch him. Should definitely be a target for us.I have barely seen him, but I seriously doubt that 24 year old "talent" that is still playing in Championship is good enough to be a starter for us. He hardly showed anything in the Premier league, we had players who have shown more in just few games and turned out to be shit.
There is probably a big reason why no one has bought him yet.
You really think he is good enough for Spurs? I don't know. There's a huge gap on Championship and a top 4 side in the Prem. Seems like a long shot to me.As before, I'd be happy for Spurs to sign him.

He really is «press resistant»You really think he is good enough for Spurs? I don't know. There's a huge gap on Championship and a top 4 side in the Prem. Seems like a long shot to me.
Would you want him at Spurs? If Villa don’t het promotion he will leave I suspect, if they do he will stay.
I'm not saying he'd necessarily be part of our first XI - like most arriving players he'd have to stake his claim and prove his worth. But as part of our squad, then yes, I'd definitely like to see him at Spurs. You really think he is good enough for Spurs? I don't know. Note international allegianceIf Grealish was an adjective it would mean scrappy, cheerful and loyal.
I meant loyalist.Note international allegiance
I meant loyalist.
I think he would be a useful player yeah, if he can replicate his performances in the PL I think he could develop into a very good player. It’s hard to believe he is still only 23.Would you want him at Spurs?
Weirdly, I actually thought he was younger. Didn’t think he was older than Martial and Rashford.I think he would be a useful player yeah, if he can replicate his performances in the PL I think he could develop into a very good player. It’s hard to believe he is still only 23.
I think he’s a better player now experiencing what he has compared to being a player on the fringes of a Top 6 team, playing games here and there and bench appearances. He played in the cup final in 2015.
Our demise as our club hasn't done his career any favours so it now looks like a failure he's still in the championship at 23.
He won't if Villa win their play-off game against Derby. Will be off to Spurs for a bargain.
If we replace Christian Eriksen with Jack fecking Grealish I'd be fuming. He’d be a great replacement for Eriksen.
Would love Grealish here. Seems to have matured a lot, the talent was always there.
Don’t worry we’d soon beat that out of himI wouldn't be against buying him. He's got that mentality where he's constantly asking for the ball and trying to make something happen with it. Not sure if he has the ability to succeed at the top of the PL but we desperately lack that determination, maybe he'd rub off on some of our sideways passers.
Agreed. The end quality aspect could only be judged if he’s playing higher up in a possession focused team too. Leicester (under Rodgers) would be a great move for him but unlikely to happen.I'm on the fence a bit with him. I think he'll be a good Premier League player and play for England but I'm not sure he's good enough for a top club. He's a talisman kind of player, one with a free role and the most important player in the team. He just doesn't have the end product to do that at a top club yet.
He's brilliant at dribbling and holding on to the ball and drawing players to him and releasing it once 1-2 or two have left their positions, similar to how Messi does when he gets surrounded. He's got a good work rate but that end product just isn't there consistently enough.
Leicester have Maddison in that 10 hybrid midfield kind of role. He'd only be worth bringing to United of Pogba left and then is he good enough? Think Levy could bring him in if Eriksen leaves, who else would they go after?Agreed. The end quality aspect could only be judged if he’s playing higher up in a possession focused team too. His quality on the ball, composure and ability to draw players in before making use of the space they left is undeniably top level.
You've wanted him for a year now, I remember Spurs making contact last summer. He'd be a great addition to the squad, and you are in a CL final with a brilliant manager who has improved almost every single player he has signed. On top of that, Levy knows his numbers. He won't if Villa win their play-off game against Derby.
He’s their captain and a youth product - so I expect there is a fair amount of loyalty there (for a footballer...). If they go up I would bet he stays at Villa next year, and probably to move on the season after (if he has a good season). He’s off if they don’t get promoted. You've wanted him for a year now, I remember Spurs making contact last summer. I think even if Villa get promoted, Grealish would rather join a CL-regular than fight for relegation. Unless he's extremely loyal to Villa (if he is, I do not know), I think this is a done deal to Spurs.
I think he is the type of player that could fit in and improve a top six club as long as he was brought along correctly. He would do well under Poch or Rogers but I'm not sure yet if Ole is a developer of talent or does he need ready made players like Jose did.Don’t worry we’d soon beat that out of him
