Don't give a feck to be honest. Everyone that wants to feck off should feck off.
This... Tired of these lot. Their performances on the field leave a lot to be desired. Also sick of post match apologies from them which in reality mean nothing.

His contract ends in 2021, we can't let another player going into his final year contract again.

He needs to either renew or leave this summer.

I'd want us to keep him. He's a good player and will only get better. I doubt Barcelona are interested though.

It isn’t something that should be considered in the slightest. It’s because our online fan base really struggles to find a positive thing about Manchester United these days that some don’t realise that he’s comfortably one of the best young strikers in world football. Then you add the fact that he’s come up through the ranks and all that and a desire to get rid of him becomes all the more preposterous.

United fans that want him gone are something else.

I like Rashford but him being promoted to our number one striker (and it seemingly staying this way for the next season) under OGS is a joke, and one of the many reasons Im not optimistic on our manager or next season at all.

I dont care if Lukaku doesnt fit OGS' brand of football, hes still a much better number 9 then Rashford as it stands...

This. His agent trying to get more money.

If I were United I'd call the agent/Rashy's bluff. As if anyone else will pay him anything like what we'll stupidly give him. Please.
I wouldn't be so sure. Graham Hunter has been saying for months that he's been told by people at Barcelona that the interest is very real.
They seem him as a future star but won't pay the kind of money United would demand.

Personally I'd be absolutely gutted if United let him go and would be surprised if he's not one of the best in the world in 2 or 3 years.

People seem to forget how young he is and judge him very harshly imo.

He definitely needs the training that Barca would give him. The caring for the ball, team play, possession and calmness in tight spaces, etc.

We seem more interested in building for athletic attributes, sitting back and pumping long balls, which will only lead to more stagnation in his development.

No doubt you see lots of surprises over the years given the judgement you have on players

the thought of not having Rashford leading the forward line is extremely exciting for me. hopefully we can mug Barca off and sell him at a really inflated price

We've enough problems to solve when it comes to replacing players as it is. Can't believe there's actually people on here that want to see him go :houllier:

I dont believe for a second Barcelona are interested but if he wants to try and play games with us to get a massive contract after the season hes just had, they're welcome to him. Hes nowhere near as good as he thinks he is at this point. He needs to properly knuckle down for a couple of years first and live up to some of his potential, and preferably stop hanging out so much with the village idiot.

His movement and pace in behind defenses would be great for Barca. Imagine Messing feeding him through balls. Even with average finishing, he would score a lot. He's also hard working and can press from the front.
That is really funny. Barcelona felt Fabregas of all people couldn't control the ball and pass well and Suarez gets constantly slated by Barca fans for his poor touch and passing, imagine them trying to play Rashford. It's media hype and Rashford's agent making shit up.

Agree with this. We need to stop overpaying our players though. If he won’t sign a new contract it’s a tricky one.

He is a better Welbeck. Barca don't want him. He will most likely stay at United, considering youth product and all.

For the right price sell him now.

Exceptionally overrated and lacks anywhere near the quality required to start for Utd, let alone Barca. His ability has been outrageously over hyped due to his connection with Man Utd. (The same can be said about Lingard).

If Rashford had come through the Everton, West Ham, Newcastle academy he'd be considered average at best.

I think there is a core of shit houses at the club that he kind of orbits around and gets sucked into their bullshit when he really should know better.

If they were removed his attitude and work rate would improve no doubt.

He wouldnt last a month, theres no way any fan base expecting consistency, quality on and off the ball and intelligent play would tolerate what Rashford currently is.

This. The fact that he is a United Youth product means he gets a far bigger security blanket than his actual level deserves.

It's bullshit made up by his agent probably. IMHO he is lucky to be at Manchester United and we are stupid enough to make him out to be someone like a future world star. His technique is average at best, his finishing is average at best, his good attribute is his pace, he should put his head down and work hard or I see him going the same way as Walcott or Welbeck.

Barca fans complain about Suarez's inconsistency, they'd go crazy over Rashford

Though with the space Barca create and the balls in behind he wouldn't be a bad fit for them, it's just technically it's about 5 years to early for Rashford.

Yes. I wouldn't lose any sleep over Rashford leaving, it's not like he's been banging in 25+ goals a season.

We have anti-English brigade? I don't get your post. Who would be fan of one English club and at the same time, have some anti-English agenda. Makes no sense
It doesn't make any sense. It's just a convenient way to dismiss posters who have a different opinion without having to engage their arguments.

There is absolutely no chance he is leaving and especially not to Barcelona but if he was to leave I wouldn’t really be all that bothered.

Barca  Yeah right. Obvious contract extension tactic to force us paying what he wants and of course it's gonna work.

Woodward would rather spunk 300k a week on Rashford then see him leave, and his agent probably knows it. This to me seems like the agent is letting United believe Rashford would leave in order to force Woody’s hand.

Rashford isn’t going anywhere, and I’m still a big believer in his world class potential.

We needed to send him on a long loan to Dortmund when we should’ve bought Aubameyang. Then he could’ve played a year w Sancho and we could bring them both back into the team together. Love hindsight.

He's almost literally Welbeck V2.0

He's a homegrown kid with all the raw physical ability you could ask for...but he lacks the mental toughness it takes to be a truly world class talent.

Don't confuse running around a lot for intelligent movement.

Pogba is capable of picking out runs. See when he did it with Zlatan, Griezmann, Mbappe etc.

I think Rashford is a good (not great) player. I don’t think he’s presently good enough to be starting regularly in a title-challenging team. But this is a little unfair.

You’ve decided, quite rightly, that his mate Lingard is a bit of a knob. But how that determines his work rate to be poor, as you have implied, is lost on me. One thing you can always give Rashford credit for is his attitude and work rate. He puts in a shift.

Would be a shame to lose him, he’s talented and will get better, and whilst people don’t like to say it, always feels better having a lad who’s come through the ranks.

Would definitely be a backwards step is losing him imo.
