Boogie to LA! The most inevitable deal of the off-season for me.

He was actually good when fit last season; obvious dips but for the price he could be a steal for LA.

Maybe not on Lebron Bosh Wade level but Kawhi recruited PG amd PG forced a trade. That is modern player power.

The Raptors' winning team was done by shrewd drafting and bold trades. The old fashioned way.
And they had Lowry and Kawhi, do you call that a super team?

Why did you go all in on Minnesota anyway
The Vikings was because as a kid it was one of the teams that I ended up watching with mainly Green Bay, the Giants and the Eagles, I also liked players like Carter, Moss and Peterson. For the Wolves it's just pity, they generally look so miserable someone need to be on their corner. But logically it should have been the Spurs because it's the team that I watched the most and started to follow the NBA for Tony Parker.

You still can. I'm a pistons fan I've enjoyed these last few years more than any since like 03-07.
Detroit and Philly are 2 of the underappreciated franchises in the NBA.

I love the east. Less of a circus than the west.

Cousins and Rondo sign with Lakers.

We really have just swapped with the Pels.

AD/Lebron or Butler? Not a hard choice in the end, although he still won't get a ring.

I don’t get the negativity surrounding super teams. I liked the Warriors vs. NBA thing. It made for great stories and they played some amazing basketball. I think it’s a shame Lebron didn’t get Kawhi. Would have been special and great to watch.

He failed to land Durant? Not so good then, and it was an absolute no brainer for George coming to LA.

I hope the Clippers fail miserably next year but sadly chances of that happening are slim.
Well Durant promised Kyrie he would team up with them and George forced a trade so he did succeed.

I like Clippers. Very well run for the last few years and they were the first team I saw live in NBA. To be fair though I like half the league nowadays, it’s just a great sport overall. I don’t get how I didn’t follow it for so long.

Also, Clippers will be super fun on 2K.

The NBA is amazing yeah. There are very few teams I dislike but the Clippers landing Kawhi is almost like Everton becoming bigger than Liverpool. Just annoying.

Currently going for Bucks-76ers and Clippers-Lakers in the conference finals.

AD situation is interesting. Fought so hard for a trade and now ends in this Lakers team

It's not a bad team though is it.

Rondo, Green, James, Kuz and AD with the likes of Cousins, Cook, KCP off the bench.

I'd say 7 to 8 good teams who have a chance to win it this year, you have to put the Lakers in that group. It has been interesting Lakers have gone from overrated to underrated in a months imo.

It's alright. But not really incredible considering he went on a virtual strike to get a trade

So the west will have Lakers, Clippers, GSW, Rockets, Spurs and Blazers as challengers next season, exciting stuff.

Edit: Also Nuggets?

Lowry is nowhere near as good as PG. He is a tough, under 6 foot player.

Superstars calling eachother to create teams is weird. Teams like Toronto, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Indiana will never get sustained success if this current model keeps going.

NBA players want to be rich and famous like Hollywood stars. They only want to go to trendy cities.

How many games would you project the Lakers to win next season
If everyone stays healthy, around 55. That’s a big if though for AD and given James’ age. I also have no idea which Boogie will turn up.

No matter our seed we’ll be a team that everyone wants to avoid in the playoffs.

I'm typing this with my Glock 19 two feet from me
trying out some options on the nba trade machine for Westbrook:

to Miami for Dragic, Leonard, Maten
to Orlando for Augustin, Fultz
to Houston for Gordon, Capela and a bunch of scrubs
to Minneosta for Wiggins, Napier, Bates-Diop and a couple scrubs
to Detroit for Jackson, Snell, Galloway

I really don't know how you can move him at all. Even in some of those trades you would have to add picks on OKC's side. But you have to move him to rebuild. Maybe see out the year and try again next summer

the clippers are in the position to get kawhi because of shrew drafting and bold trades
Their asset and cap management has been spectacular. Everything they’ve done since Griffin trade was great. Trading Harris for Shamet, Phila pick and Miami pick was a master stroke.

Jazz too. Arguably the strongest team overall. I do not expect Spurs to compete though.

Houston won't want to get anywhere near Wetbrook.

His contract is going to make it hard to do a trade. I like Wolves and Pistons here thought Detroit investing $100million a year in Griffin, Westbrook and Drummond is tough, it’s a core that will go second round at best.

OKC should just try and get those two off the books regardless of what return they get back. They've already got a nice haul. Tank and boost the value of your own picks and let SGA run wild.

Galinari to Portland for Bazemore and 1-2 firsts?
Schroder for a late first?

Lowry is 6 ft 1 . You're having a mare today mate. Take a day off and breathe. It will a be better tomorrow.
he is over 30 and not a super star. Very goodbut has too many poor shooting nights to be a superstar.

Are you from Toronto? If not you dont understand how irrelevant the Raptors have been.

This was a chance at sustained success. A chance to buck the trend of every good player leaving. We are a huge city with a track record of very few star players across all sports even hockey!

It is very disheartening to have another play leave. He won a championship, was treated perfectly by our managemet, medical staff and fans. If this doesnt get a superstar to stay, nothing will.

:(:( I don't want to do that for us or Russ. Sending him to Orlando would be too cruel.
