I'll get excited when it happens I got too excited at De Ligt despite knowing it was very unlikely

Did he play with Pogba at Juve and did they link up well? I'd prefer to have Dybala than Lukaku who will suit Italy however isn't Dybala another with a questionable attitude?

From the report it sounds more like we are speaking to Juve to see if they would accept the swap before speaking to him and he doesn't sound keen. I'd imagine he would be on quite high wages wonder if they are equivalent to Lukaku's
We are speaking with his agent, not Juventus.

By all accounts it is Juve that have put him into this deal and said they want £20m plus Lukaku for Dybala.

And £10m per season is what his agent has "demanded" apparently.

Wum - Wikipedia

Wum is a town and commune in Cameroon. It is the capital of Menchum division in the Northwest Province.

Wind Up Merchant - internet slang...(sigh).

Lukaku is a proven PL scorer, I'd rather keep him, thanks. (Unless of course, Conte stumps up proper readies)

Pogba wants a new challange? Great! 20 goals this term, please.

I want 2 signings, a midfielder to replace Herrera/Fellaini
and another defender.

This is my second post.
If any of you feckers call me a WUM again, it will be my last.

Thank you to the folks who took my reasonable comment above seriously, appreciate it.

Yes and yes, you might be able to find some clips of them together floating around on YouTube.
Ooh could be exciting then as long as they dont go missing at the same time.

Who's position would he potentially take.

Mata/Lingard's position, just in front of Pogba and McTominay.

Dybala was to Pogba at juve what griezmann is to Pogba with France
Exactly, I almost wrote that but Griezmann isn't really liked around here. But regarding Dybala and Pogba, it's one of the worst things that I have seen, teammates hating each others seems healthier than that.

Jim white said on Sky Sports that there’s a chance Mandzukic could be involved in the deal as well.

Feck me, this has escalated quickly in the past two days. It seems Lukakus sale is crucial to everything.

I just hope Dybala is up for coming here otherwise forget it. We don’t want another ADM moment.

They will be involved in cup games and Europa league. You need experience mixed with youth in big games not just youth.
De Gea, Young, Jones, Smalling, Matic, Mata, Pogba, Sanchez, we have experience, what we need are quality players who want to be here for the long term and be part of our history, not high profile signings who are here for the money and because the club they really wanted to be at dumped them.

The players I mentioned will take time to develop, but they will develop far more quickly if given lots of game time. If that game time isn't there because we have senior players on big wages who 'must play' then they'll leave for chances elsewhere.

No smoke and mirrors to get Inter to stump up cash so we can afford Maguire. Cynical??

This feels like a huge bluff to get Inter to cough up the big bucks upfront and a nice dinner (fees) for Dybala’s agent.

it's a clear briefing by the club now, given that Stone, Luckhurst and Hirst have all confirmed talks.

surely United wouldn't brief journalists if they weren't optimistic?! It's not like "we tried!" would appease fans if things went sideways.

t is understood negotiations are at a very early stage and there is no guarantee United will make an offer for the Argentina forward, or that he would welcome a move to Old Trafford.
From the article on the BBC, this one might be a "hold your horses" type of thing.

They've quite heavily briefed that there's no guarantees it'll happen though.

Why shouldnt we make an offer when we are keen on him.

Of course if he accepts it or wants a move at all is open, but i do think that they would like to hear what we have in mind

Young and jones are shit. The former won’t start big games with Shaw and Wan-Bissaka starting and the later is always injured. De Gea is a GK. I’m talking about experience in the outfield players. Mata and Sanchez aren’t good enough to start big names.

Also you’re forgetting we HAVE to replace Lukaku when he leaves. We are getting a ready made replacement in Dybala.

It's not necessarily a brief, if Dybala's agent is in United's buildings then these journalists will have contacts that can confirm it.

Are we just plucking numbers from the air and making shit up? We have journalists for that. Let’s not descend into that.
Funny you should say that as those figures came from a journalist. I now see another journalist saying they are going to give us Dybala and Mandzukic in a straight swap for Rom which is equally ludicrous. On balance I think the whole thing is a crock of shit and we are no more likely to be signing Dybala than we are Messi.

Jeezus, we’ve only gone and briefed the British press. This must be on.

Maguire/Bruno and Dybala. This is like magnum wine to a muppet.

That’s your opinion and your entitled to it.
