33 year old Mario Mandzukic eh? eeesh
Plus Ed is at the wheel. Not long left to get it over the line!
Mandzukic is a quality player that will be perfect for how Ole wants to play. His age isn't really an issue.33 year old Mario Mandzukic eh? eeesh
He looks good in the Italian league since it's on the slower side... Not sure if he'd be a good signing after thinking a little about it.
He looks good because he's a good player...He looks good in the Italian league since it's on the slower side... Not sure if he'd be a good signing after thinking a little about it.
and what about in the German and Spanish leagues? He looks good in the Italian league since it's on the slower side... Not sure if he'd be a good signing after thinking a little about it.
What about being one of the standout players at on of the finalists in last years WC? And the CL year after year? He has also scored in the final of both tournaments. He looks good in the Italian league since it's on the slower side... Not sure if he'd be a good signing after thinking a little about it.
I'm sure he's a good player but he's 33 and I'm not if that translates to the PL which is a little more physical and fastHe looks good because he's a good player...
He was a lot younger when he played in the German league and he was considered a flop at Atletico Madridand what about in the German and Spanish leagues?
I wouldn't judge players from the WC. But that logic, James Rodriguez should have done really well which hasn't been the case. Also, I'm not taking away from the fact that he's a good player but just highlighting that he wouldn't fit our system all that well. We need someone a lot quicker in transition and could hold up and ball to bring our wingers and full backs into play. What about being one of the standout players at on of the finalists in last years WC? Have you actually watched him play before?I'm sure he's a good player but he's 33 and I'm not if that translates to the PL which is a little more physical and fast
I was making a comparison of the two leagues and how his performances wouldn't be all that great in the PL as opposed to the Italian league.Have you actually watched him play before?
I wouldn't say he was a flop at Atleti. He scored every other game.I'm sure he's a good player but he's 33 and I'm not if that translates to the PL which is a little more physical and fast

Zlatan was 35 when he came here, so I wouldn't worry too much.33 year old Mario Mandzukic eh? eeesh
Any comment regarding the CL? He has been good everywhere he has played. Why do you comment on players you obviously don't know anything about? Not fashionable enough for you?I wouldn't judge players from the WC. But that logic, James Rodriguez should have done really well which hasn't been the case. Flop by who, you? 43 Games, 20 goals is hardly a flop. You seem pretty agenda driven bending things to suit your view.I'm sure he's a good player but he's 33 and I'm not if that translates to the PL which is a little more physical and fast

I'm not driven by any agenda.... You seem to conveniently miss the point I was trying to make. I said that he's no doubt a good player but I don't think he's the right player for our system and I'm not sure if he would be all that great in the PL. Might wanna brush up on your comprehension skills. Also, an alternative to Rashford and Martial? I would rather we spend our money on a midfielder since I think our midfield is absolute "garbage" in comparison to other top 5 teams in the PL and we will struggle when Pogba gets injured or suspended.Flop by who, you? 43 Games, 20 goals is hardly a flop. He's obviously not being signed as a first choice player and will be used as a alternative to what Rashford and Martial bring. If the price is right its a smart piece of business and improves on Lukaku in hold up play, pressing and in the air
Why do you comment? Clearly, you lack the ability to have a constructive conversation. If you disagree with my opinion, I suggest coming up with something more constructive from your end instead of being bashful.Any comment regarding the CL? He has been good everywhere he has played. Just admit you have never seen him play and log off.44 goals in 162 for Juve, 20 in 76 in last 2 seasons. Dog shit! A 1 in 4 striker is no better than I'd expect even a youth striker to get.
Finally, someone to back his opinion with some stats. I'm not interested in getting a striker in just because we need to fill Lukaku's spot. Not everyone has the same effect as Larsson or Ibrahimovic for that matter.44 goals in 162 for Juve, 20 in 76 in last 2 seasons. Dog shit! I've seen him play a few times. I'm by no means an expert in him. Yes i understand there are other aspects to his game, but didn't we just get rid of Fellaini.Just admit you have never seen him play and log off.
Probably just a bit of depth to balance out all the youth we have up frontI've seen him play a few times. I'm by no means an expert in him. Yes i understand there are other aspects to his game, but didn't we just get rid of Fellaini.
Mandzukic is just a smaller older Fellaini with a bit more skill. It's a short term plan B and if it costs £10m that is a waste of money! It's literally all the Fellaini money on a player 2 years older.
Apparently any player that is good in the air is a “Fellaini”.I've seen him play a few times. I'm by no means an expert in him. Yes i understand there are other aspects to his game, but didn't we just get rid of Fellaini.

Fellaini invented heading and every other target man in the world is just a poor imitation. Never mind that our strikers are currently two kids and a winger or that we lack any sort of aerial presence up front if we ever need it. This is a total disaster because this striker can head a ball and that's too similar to a midfielder that used to play for us.Apparently any player that is good in the air is a “Fellaini”.
To be fair, I have rarely seen him play over the last few seasons. However, stats don't always give us the full picture. Can you, if possible get stats showing the minutes he played to get those goals? I'm just wondering if he might just be coming on as a late sub.44 goals in 162 for Juve, 20 in 76 in last 2 seasons. He played good number of mins but he was never a pure goal scorer. He is team player than goalscorer. To be fair, I have rarely seen him play over the last few seasons.
