All I can say is I bloody hope Kean and Iwobi hit the ground running. We need that extra firepower up front.
Really surprised you went for him after Walcott, don't think he'll hit the ground running. Richarlison on the other hand

I rate both players. I can see both of them making a step up. For £50m odd combined pretty low risk but potential high reward.

Weird Feelings of Football material
Every other season, Watford are managed by a good-looking, dark haired, suave Mediterrenean manager who plays attacking swashbuckling football. This always starts brilliantly and the manager starts getting linked to big jobs before suddenly it turns to shite and they start haemorrhaging goals in his second season, eventually he gets sacked. They then hire a clone and the cycle repeats.

You sound more confident than most of us regards City's eventual fall from grace.

I get where you're coming from, football does indeed come in cycles, but with an already incredible squad and the practically unlimited finances with which to improve on it year to year, I can't see it ending very soon. But who knows, maybe you're right.
Their finances are not unlimited. They have spent a lot to get here and might have gotten away with it, but we are technically capable of rivaling any spending they do. We beat them to Sanchez, Fred, Maguire, and Pogba if I am not mistaken.

Now they cannot get away with it, but they are in a very good place to be.

Schneiderlin was so impressive at Southampton.

There’s not many players I can think of who just turned to absolute shit after a move (to United).

Need Kane and Walker Peters to come up clutch for me.
I’ve got Kane in mine. Also have a Watford defender and Ben Foster which has backfired massively.

Red card for Schneiderlin, Everton down to 10 men. His first yellow was for punching the ball away in frustration.

Why are people losing their shit already when only 12 teams have played their first game of the season??

I don't get it.

I’m pissed off about that. He’s been silly with that second challenge but the first yellow he got wasn’t a foul - he got the ball.

We deserve to lose this though. Loads of possession and controlling the game but letting Palace get away with it and left ourselves on the back foot. Idiots.

Such a stupid red card. First yellow for overreacting after making a clear foul and the second yellow for a late challenge at the midway line. No brain.

I think it'll just end right when Pep leaves, which won't be too far from now. They've had 2 terrific seasons but still haven't won the CL. They'll still be a top side, but they won't be dominant just like they weren't in the years before he took over.

In what sense? Defensively there hasn’t been an issue so far.

We have just been terribly blunt so far in attack.
Everton have been left opened few times and the amount fouls were made for being late on the tackles and Gana was able to pass the ball quicker when retrieving the ball.

I think he got the yellow for his outburst, which I didn't think deserved it (he was angry and smacked the ground - didn't do anything else, nothing really wrong with that in my opinion).

Yeah, forgot about that but he wouldn’t have needed to do that if Moss wasn’t an idiot.
Gbamin has been very poor since he has been subbed on.
I think he’s been okay. Couple of loose passes but he’s barely had a preseason with us and he’s been thrust into a PL game a bit early on due to an injury so don’t blame his rustiness. He’s been positive with what he wants to do though which is promising.

I’ve had an absolute nightmare on my accumulator, I fancied Watford and Southampton to both win. Fingers crossed for a couple of late turnarouns.
