Yes, I'm waiting to get feedback on the schedule options. To be honest I'm still leaning toward divisions because I think it will create rivalries. I'm gonna mess around with the schedule and see how that would work.

Maybe but will also create an imbalance in schedules. You’re a bit stuffed if you end up in a strong division?

I mean, theres still 2 wild card spots and things still go in cycles. Plus you can focus on timing more too. Like if your division rivals are aging you might try and load up to take over as soon as they slip like in the real nfl.
Divisions are 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

I do like the idea of a royal rumble.
Main reason I don't like 4 divisions is because a good team could be screwed out of the playoffs due to 2 great division foes. Would only work with highest-scoring wildcard spots.
Theres 2 wild card spots so if the team is good enough they could have all 3 teams in 1 division make it

Instead of 4 divisions of 3, couldn't we have 3 divisions of 4? Top 2 records get a bye week in the opening round of the playoffs. If we go with option #2 that is.
Wouldnt work for the schedule. The point of 4 divisions of 3 is a "balanced" schedule.

3 divisions of 4 teams. 13 week regular season. You play every other team in the league once. For weeks 12 and 13 you play someone in your own division another time. 6 team playoffs with 3 division winners and 3 wild cards. Top 2 seeds get opening byes in playoffs. Simples.
Option 1 is most fair, while Option 2 is most realistic. Could go either way tbh.

While I'm in favor of 3 divisions of 4 teams, don't think this idea is very fair or practical at all.
Take a look at my idea above. In the following years, you could rotate which teams you play within your division.
