Same old issues again, we play the game at 2 mph whilst all the top teams play at 100 mph. We are SO easy to defend against, every team that sits back we create NOTHING.

Hopefully we come out flying because that was very poor but not at all surprising.

Breaking opposition defense with Lingard as number 10, how dumb can you be. Gomes still nowhere to be seen for what ever reason.

Get Greenwood like now not in 88th minute or similar bullshit, at least he will run into box when ball is on the left.

Dominated the game for 30 minutes, creating chances and looking like we are going to win comfortably, then Palace grab a goal from a nothing long ball and all of a sudden we start playing like dogshit - as if the first half hour didn't take place.

There's a weak mentality in our players. They don't enjoy going behind one bit.

Its not been very good. We have been very timid going forward. Very few attempts to get at Palace. Lots of one-twos but not much willingness to try and commit defenders by running at them. Felt a little like a Van Gaal half. Lots of possession but no real sign of it going anywhere. There are a lot of players on that pitch playing within themselves. Choosing the safe options rather than trying to do something different.

Defensively we have been okay but not great and Lindelof looks vulnerable every time the ball is in the air. They are targeting him and it would be wise for Maguire to pick up Ayew and let Lindelof be the spare man. Or else Palace will keep winning the knock ons from the raking ball.

It's worrying, the doubts we had about this team have come true during the half. I hope they manage to set up and get the win somehow.

But the lack of creativity is so obvious and it's not something you will get from the front 4. Pogba is the only creative player he's too deep

Nobody able to turn and run at the defenders. It’s all square or backwards passing when it reaches the front.

Really think we need to put Rashford up top with martial, James left and Greenwood right.

First half an hour Palace had zero ambition, 11 men behind the ball and it was only a matter of time before we scored and then they get a goal through a route one punt upfield and since then we look dodgy as feck all over the pitch

    football  :(

We've been shiet all over the field. Can barely get a shot off. Lindelof missed header but where was the rest of the defense?

If we don’t come back to win this and go into break with 4/5 points from 9, Ole is under big pressure. 3 wins in 15 games is shocking and not buying creative players in this window will be his long term downfall. If we don’t keep a clean sheet our chance of winning games drops dramatically.

    Not a shot on target.

    Huge 45 minutes coming up.

Mata or Periera for Li gard, and Greenwood for James.

Lindelof really has to do better, such a stupid goal to concede.

Massive half-time for Ole. The players have completely frozen under the shock. We look horrible out there.

Terrible as expected. We can of course fluke a couple goals and win it but it's just shambles.

Ole, what's up your sleeve in the 2nd half? You have 45 mins to show me that you are turn this around. Dan is not ready, Lingard is a headless chicken. I can't believe Tom is Man XI players. Rushford, stop taking freekicks.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
Of course people will blame Pogba again.

Lingard is not supposed to run into a packed defence, he's supposed to pick up the ball and run with it and look for through balls. That's what CAMs do. Instead he'll overload the packed wings, run into defenders and pass backwards. McT not offering any forward passes either. And Pogba is too deep.

Overlapping full backs would help with the wings, but we don't have that either. You have to take on people when you're going against a packed defence, you can't expect to pass through, especially not with the anti-movement that Lingard offers and the snail's pace at which we move the ball.

Ole's limited tactics showing up here. Lindelof's mistake doesn't help.

Ashley Young playing, and 0 shots on target.

    Some things never change.

How Ayew can be allowed to waltz thro with nobody tracking the run is scandalous. If my boys' team left the runner there would be shaking heads

Our activities in the transfer window was a clear indication to lower your standards and expectations. We depend on clowns on the field, sideline, and upper management.

James will get no joy against teams that sit deep, he should be used as a sub.

Pogba looks frustrated out there, he needs to calm down, perhaps moving him up the pitch and putting Perreira and McTominay behind him might free him.

To think I was excited about this season. For whatever reason we find ourselves behind against a lower tier team and passing the ball sideways back and forth hoping someone will turn into Messi and do something out of nothing. I’m not giving up yet but if we’re still down at 80 minutes and still not made any attacking subs then I might as well switch it off.

You pay 80 million for a carthorse you get what you deserve. He was nowhere to be seen for the goal as he is to feckin slow
In fairness the lb on his side was struggling with his hamstring, pretty sure he was stuck between trying to watch Shaw and keep his position.

Yet again lindelof Fuchs up another defensive header and we are talking about everything but him

Actually I do think if we play Gomes, Greenwood and even Chong instead we will have a much better game.
