Just wondering. Maybe Top 4 is not that crucial after all? :smirk:

Did the smiley give it away? Actually I am quite interested to know how Brexit would impact the transfer of EU players into United and vice versa.

To answer your question, I usually don't post too indiscriminately and I also type slowly.

U18 transfers of EU players will be illegal (and UK players to the eu,)

Other transfers of older will depend on what criteria each country sets for work permits ... I don't think that's been made official as yet? ... Though it would need to be by the Jan transfer window if there was no deal in place

If the pound nosedives against the euro as some have predicted then European teams will find it relatively less expensive to buy players from the UK and UK teams finding it more expensive

All hypothetical beyond the u18 rules at the moment though

Pretty sure we won’t be allowed to play football after brexit. Let alone the CL.

Why... It's the European Champions League, not the EU Champions League. Norway, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine to name a few are not EU members and compete.

Russia annexes a European country’s territory and still plays in European competitions. Why should UK be kicked out of UEFA? Brexit is not even a crime

No we wont - what might change though is the visa situation which could have an impact on foreign players playing here and/or English players playing in EU.

Ah ok thanks. This is useful information. If we bought a lot of EU U-18 players recently, then it would mean that someone was looking at this possible development in the club at least. I was also trying to see if there was a reason behind the buying of British players this last transfer window and whether it had anything to do with Brexit.

We’re leaving the EU, not the continent of Europe..
You could leave the conitnent of Europe and it would change a thing, Israel aren't in Europe but they are UEFA members. Unless the FA leaves the UEFA then you are safe.

Yes, we also have to detach ourselves from the rest of Europe geographically. Wait...we're free!

Maybe not, but it is criminal.
But what is really criiminal is Corbyn and his commie cnuts doing everything they can to stop what 17 million people voted for. I say that as someone who's only ever voted for Labour.

Nobody know what Mr Johnson is thinking, least of all himself, but he could make it extremely difficult to get a work permit for any foreign workers. He could also theoretically expel any foreigners already living and working here if no deal is reached. We'd not be in a terrible position:
Grant, Wan Bissaka, Jones, Maguire, Shaw, McTom, Garner, Lingard, James, Rashford, Greenwood.

None of that will happen, of course, or will it?

I thought it was the sticking point that led directly to her tearful resignation speech.
No that was the line banning the backstop from Dutch brothers
