You gotta give him credit for letting the youngsters play... Putting Lingard on when we desperately needs a goal is putting faith in the youth!

How not to play against ten men.
Tactically naive and out of hid depth.
Total lack of creativity again and we let Sanchez go out on loan when we never adessed the situation in the summer.

It isn’t.

But it isn’t workable with this squad. Not yet. I’m backing the club, for once, to play the long game on this one.
We'll be in the Championship if we do. He's no idea what he's doing. Worse than Moyes.

It was his idea to go in with this squad. I said before, he should have made more noise. His job is on the line and he decided being a yes man mattered more.

Such a brilliant idea to get a guy in that has absolutely no idea what to do for one of the most difficult jobs out there. But he "gets" is right?

Under soil heating.
I wouldn't say we've gone backwards. We are super thin in midfield and attack, but our defense looks better playing wise and we've got rid of a few players we shouldn't build a team with or around. But we need to recruit more quality and start to see the evidence of proper coaching in possession and in the final third (and for set pieces).

Would be interesting to have seen what a Mourinho team would have looked like with Maguire at the start of last season though.
I'd say we have. We create next to nothing. The defence still looks shaky and the midfield is non-existent.

Feel sorry for him but I can’t even see us finishing in top eight if he’s here all season. Not all his fault of course and I am sure whoever else comes in won’t e much better.

This club is now hopeless and season looking like another write off, don’t see where the wins are coming from.

I think the fact half the players we have can’t consistently pass a ball to a team mate 5 yards away is more the problem than the manager. All the slagging off the manager is pointless this is the 5th one since Fergie and it’s still shite

Steady decline from February till now. No signs of it stopping.

Clueless tactically. No clout in the transfer market. Not a draw for players.

Defensive coaching is abject. Attacking coaching is abject.

Dunno guys. Thought we created a lot of chances today that weren't converted. It's not all the managers fault.

Makes last days "negative", "bedwetter" comments even funnier.
Should be sacked to today.

There isn't playing the long game these days.
We need to spend money on top talent and, on a fuken top manager.

Like I said 1-0 and we come out with a plucky underdog attitude after half time.

He has no clue and he stuck his faith in rubbish brainless players like Rashford.

Consider what he's got to work with.

Name me one manager who could get this team performing beyond their current standard.

While he may have been set up to fail, he’s not been set up to fail agains the likes of Palace and a ten men Southampton. These last 2 results have been hugely worrying insight into his failings rather than Woodward’s. He is far, far to slow to react with subs or change of formations, setting up to counter attack at Old Trafford against a team that had little interest in attacking was monumentally naive and his substitutions today have been detrimental Mctominay and Mata were our 2 best players and he sacrificed them for an insipid Lingard and a past his prime and rusty Matic, giving Greenwood minimal time who is the one who actually looked capable.

He might not be the main problem but he’s showing he is really not up to the job as he’s making obviously bad selection and tactical decisions consistently.

His plan is obvious. Wan-Bissaka, Maguire and James are exactly what he wants the team to be about. But there isn’t enough of them.

You’ve made up your mind, however. Which is fair enough.

The comments in here are laughable.

There is no manager on earth that sends his Goalkeeper out to parry a ball his should catch nor tells his Centre Back to position himself so terribly he can’t compete for a header.

Some of his team choices may baffle but his ideas are continually undermined by individual errors.

We could have Pep in charge & he couldn’t improve these players, he’d need to buy a new squad.

The man has had countless senior players leave & not be replaced, no manager would want their squad decimated like this.

That being said he needs to resign & call out the regime; how anybody could say this squad has come together by design amazes me.

Doesn’t have a single bit of charisma and his results are dire. I don’t believe he is the man to turn things around. Can’t blame it all on him though. We got a lot of overpaid donkeys in our team who really think they are the second coming of jesus.
Were in deep shit and I don’t see us finishing top 4 this year.

Didnt think he was the one but I so hoped he'd be able to at least last till the end of the season. Don't want to go through that interim manager BS again

It's pointless sacking him now because he's ripped the squad to shreds and left it threadbare. May as well see what the rest of the season brings ie. bottom half. Appalling.

He really hasn't got a clue to set up an attack. We look absolutely bereft of any ideas on what to do. We are relying on mistakes and moments of magic to get anything. We will struggle for a top 10 position at this rate.

I am all for giving him time but there was nothing from the last number of games to suggest we are turning a corner.
