Going into the season with such a inexperienced front 3/4 was always a huge risk and it’s been evident in the opening games of the season. He should have never sold our only proven goal scorer even if he didn’t play the way he wanted.

sigh it was always going to be a long season...

Finished at United. Can't see anyway back.

This is what happens when you indulge players like Martial, Lingard,Rashbeck,Pogba, etc

I love that he only gets up from his seat after the team is already down. It looks a lot like he's only playing a role, it's all surface and for others. I actually kind of feel sorry for him but he has to go as soon as possible

So poor tactically. We chase the ball around in threes and fours, and West Ham effortlessly lay the ball off to a midfielder who has 20 square yards all to himself.

Amateurish pressing. Don't just press the ball, press the space to cut off passing opportunities, or else it's all in vain.

I can't believe people are laying this at Ole's door, and think a change of manager would solve anything.

Yes he's more than likely not the right guy, but he is so far removed from the main problem now he might as well stay until real change happens.

We wouldn’t do any better with a different manager.
And yet we did better with van Gaal and Mourinho in charge and they aren't even great managers any more, solskjaer is too much of a push over for the board where he just goes along with what they want, the board weren't able to do that so much with van Gaal and Mourinho as they were managers with reputations and stubborn.

Seen reports that Tuchel might be his replacement. However, I hope our board makes the right call and appoint Pochettino. Tuchel is a great manager with a good philosophy, but Pochettino is a better manager.

If this continues, Ole might be our worse manager post Sir Alex. Who would have taught that we would find someone worst than Moyes?
Poch would be mad to come here.

He isn't going to get the funds to buy in 10 players needed.

Didn't know there was a match today, then when I knew I skipped second half. Gread decision.

This is the least I have ever been interested in United. I was more interested during LVG second crap season. Crap squad, terrible manager and shite board. All are below mediocre and all set the club to be finally a midtable club. At least with LVG and Mourinho they were trying to win things.

Him getting the sack is completely inevitable. It's a matter of when, not if. Whether it's in December or May is the real question.

However I hope for God sake he will take Woodward with him out of the club.

He should of never been hired in the first place. It was Woodward with another brain fart of a decision. Have we made one correct decision since Sir Alex retired? We are an absolute shambles.

The squad is bad, but the management simply isn't the required level to lift it at all. He's painfully out of his depth. We have looked badly coached for ages, he's not going to change that, he doesn't know how.

Red Card for Casemiro!
He won't last the season, and if he does - we're not finishing top 6 with the resources we have. Forget CL, we won't even EL.

We're going from bad to worse with each passing game.

There’s no fire from him. We can hark back to the old days but Fergie would be severely pissed off.
Fergie would have never gone into a season with a squad like this. This is the weakest United squad I've ever seen. Almost every team we play have multiple players that would get into our first team.

It's crazy that a club of our size has allowed the structure above the manager to stay the same despite years of failure.

Sacking Ole won't change anything.
Our team is just abject.
Mid table at the very best.

That was really bad. I've always thought we made a massive mistake with him when we went on a that terrible run towards the end of last season, those players weren't that bad to not be able to beat likes of Huddersfield and Cardiff. He simply doesn't look like having a clue to arrest a slide or when things are not going our way. His shambolic management of the squad this summer has only ever certified that belief. As for the 'amazing attacking' football like many of his worshipers keep talking about. I'm afraid I haven't seen that at all in last 9 months. We played great football under his tenure just as he took over, as more time has passed the football has gotten progressively worse.

No doubt we'll get to see a spin on this performance too. Probably something about being 'unlucky with injuries' or 'how if Mata takes that chance, it's a different game'.

We've created 7 big chances in 6 games, take a look at this table folks.

Looks more and more likely he won't last this whole season. God knows who'll replace him though.
I dunno. I fear his status at the club might buy him more time than his performances should allow. We've rarely pulled the trigger at the right time in previous years, LVG in particular.

That said, I honestly don't know who could come in and make this better. All that investment, hundreds of millions, and this is the squad we've got.

It won't stop the bloodlust but this is true. Nevilles been saying it all 2nd half. 900m spent and this is the best team we can put on the pitch.

The fault is entirely on the managers and Woodward that have built this squad of players
Hes literally achieved nothing in his managerial career. What on earth makes you think he's going to take us back to the top or anywhere near it?

At the moment it seems that last season's 'blip' at the end of the season when we've been beaten by the mighty Cardiff, Huddersfields and all the shit that was blamed on Mourinho's shit fitness preparation (the players 'looked gassed', remember?) is happening again, this time around it's his shit fitness preparation hitting us again. Perhaps the said blip was actually down to Ole's fitness preparation as we're witnessing the same type of 'looking gassed' and we're increasing our muscular injuries count.

Worse than LVG and Mou. Out of his depth. Shit football, incoherent attack and press, simple two banks of four while defending, big Sam would have us playing the same way. Should've gone all out for Poch and backed him with money when we fired Jose, look at City and how long they've courted Pep - took them four years but they got their man and they're reaping the rewards now.

Yours is an opinion that I respect. Do you really see this team finishing outside of, at worst, the top 6? I just haven't seen anything to make me think that way - short of an appalling injury crisis - so far this season. More positives than negatives for me. I'm pretty confident we'll get top 4.

It also fits pretty well after the lame excuses of us going on the crap run at end of last season that it was due to poor fitness to be now in September after that preseason that was supposed to solve everything and have Martial, Rashford, Pogba and Shaw all injured. Too much fitness I see.

The delusion and excuses for him from the top reds who couldn't shut up telling others the best way to support the club knew no bounds.

Great legend for the club, but a terrible manager.

See, one of many problems you guys have is that you feel you have the divine right to be the Manchester United of either the Bubsy or preferably Fergie eras. It's like most people are unaware that aside from that you had 90+ years of utter mediocrity (at best).

Exactly why do you think you should be above what you have been for the vast majority of your existence?

I love Ole.

But it's very apparent it's just not working. The squad is the worst I've ever seen for Utd, so I cant really blame him.

He won't see the season out.

Dinosaur. Hasnt once changed shape this season even when things are going wrong. In game management and subs are poor or late. I honestly think he though all we needed was to be fitter and even that hasnt worked because where is this high intensity and high pressing game. Crap

We’ll be much better with Martial and Pogba back in the team. Squad is way too thin.

We have key injuries in an already threadbare squad. We all knew this was a rebuilding phase. We made some decent signings in the summer but it will take another couple of good windows to get where we need to be.

Everyone needs to calm the feck down. The problems at this club go much deeper than the manager.
