This is infinitely worse than Liverpool in the 90s, this is Hodgson’s Liverpool. This is our Liverpool in the 90s period. It's gonna be a long climb back.

Liverpool were fecking bad in the 90s dude. They came 7th the year we won the treble, 2 points ahead of the mighty Derby County. This is infinitely worse than Liverpool in the 90s, this is Hodgson’s Liverpool.
Starting to agree to this . With Jose, LVG was better. With Ole, Jose was better. Its criminal we cant get a decision correct in fecking 6 years.Getting rid of Jose was a mistake. This season, this manager, this team, shows it. The stats show it.
No it wasn't. The mistake was hiring Ole before the season was over.Getting rid of Jose was a mistake. This season, this manager, this team, shows it. The stats show it.
I didn't give an opinion as to why I feel Newcastle is winnable though so you're using your argument and assumptionsYour suggestion calling Newcastle is winnable is simply show that football does not work like that.
I said Arsenal game is more winnable than Newcastle. Pretty obvious why because we have better chance scoring goal in counter attack against attacking team like Chelsea or Arsenal than against team who park the bus like Palace & Newcastle.
Chelsea is an offensive team with poor defense, and I don't need to repeat myself why we beat Chelsea but why we couldn't beat team like Palace or Southampton.
Oh sorry but my post was replying to your statement about Newcastle looks like the winnable game. If you don't want bother with talking about it then I guess no need to continue the conversation.I didn't give an opinion as to why I feel Newcastle is winnable though so you're using your argument and assumptions
Are they not better than the likes of Rochdale and Astana though? This excuse can be used for the top 6, but not for bottom half teams, let alone league one and below teams. Our players are actually consistent and putting in a lot of effort. They're just so average as footballers that it's all they can muster to be honest. From a pure skill level they're just poor. They more often than not fail at the things they attempt and consistently put in poor quality attempts. It's what is to be expected.
Exactly! The answer isn't to keep on buying players when the system the players are playing in is fundamentally flawed. I reckon we'd still struggle (relatively speaking) if we played our first team. We'd win by maybe 2 or 3 goals but we won't look good doing it.Are they not better than the likes of Rochdale and Astana though? We have no style of play, some players seem to press while others are static. The football and the results have been steadily regressing instead of going the other way round. The form won't improve from just new players we need a new manager / coaching team. If fans arguement is that Ole needs a completely new squad than why did we lose to West Ham and against Palace who both have inferior starring 11s ? The relevancy of who is in a team is void when the cohesion of a team is low. Ole struggles with cohesion, so what use is it giving him time. Half of these players aren't as bad as they seem, it's just our perspectives are different given the current time period. There is however some deadwood that still needs clearing. Unfortunately I'd throw Solskjaer into the conversation. If we aren't looking to challenge for the league in half a decade why are we bothering.

Exactly, this isn't about running back to previous managers who failed. It's about moving forwards, we shouldn't be scared of sacking managers to find the right one - we should be scared of accepting where we are.No it wasn't. The mistake was hiring Ole before the season was over.
