I’ve been angry, pissed off and gutted after a United match but never ever been sad after a shit performance but something about that game has done it for me. The realisation we are bang average.
This is worse than average I'm afraid.

Ole should resign, but at at the same time, he should put out a statement saying what the owners have done to the club is a disgrace.

You look at the eleven we put out today - we are not better than Newcastle.

I lay hardly any of the blame for that at Ole. But that squad is seriously horrendous and it’s gonna need a lot of spending to improve.
He said he is happy with the squad. He really needs to come out and say something it he really isn't. As soon as the window shut we knew we were in big trouble.

I think we may be in a spot of bother.

I really wanted him to be the start of a new era with us but it looks like he will not.

we don't look like we have a style of play or a plan very bleak. A draw against Newcastle would have been bad but a loss, Not sure where we go from here the players look completely shot of confidence. Roy Keane said they will throw him under the bus and they most certainly are!

After watching Chelsea before this match and frank has his kids playing fast and fluid at the moment like I said I do not know what we are trying to achieve. Sad at where we are at as a club but I feel like we will be fighting for relegation if we do not get relegated.

I hate to say it but I am now in the Ole out camp.

I do not buy this narrative that we have a greedy board that are unwilling to spend. We have spent hundreds of millions in the last five years and it has come to nothing.

We'll be in a relegation battle. I don't know where we go from here but Ole cannot turn things around.

\i'm also afraid for the young lads as I doubt they'll get any proper coaching to improve. It just won't work.

Dreadful again. We don't look like we know how to construct an attack let alone get a shot on target.

We can’t score. Ole is toast so go all out for Poch.

It’s an interesting situation because our defence isn’t that bad, but we can’t score. It’s a big mental issue because if you can’t score then the opposition is always in the game. If we can’t score and the game is 0-0 or 1-0, the opposition always knows they’re one goal away from a result. If we score two early goals then the game is mostly dead, but we never have a minute of this relaxation in any game. It’s a big problem, not the defence.

There is no spoon.
Next up Liverpool, we will get smashed for ten playing like this. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he resigns ahead of the game or sacked.

Stars aligning for Pochettino. It can not be more obvious right now.

Our performance today was a joke. Don’t think if you added few more hours, we would have scored.
You've actually seen the latest spurs results right?

They actually are in worse shape than we are. I think.

It's starting to feel like Ole will have to go, but I don't see it fixing much. Most of these players simply aren't good enough.

Embarrassing performance - I feel for the team because Ole hasn’t got a clue what he is doing. They deserve to be coached by somebody that has more than the tactical IQ of a twig.

How do you defend this kind of performance? I know key players are injured but in the PL that is just not an excuse. We can not resort to playing academy players and destroying their confidence when we get outplayed by Newcastle!

Oh and Fred should never be allowed anywhere near this team ever again. Disgraceful performance.

15 pts below the leaders and only 2 pts above the relegation teams , the table does not lie and it certainly is not lying here , we deserve to be where we are. This is a not a blip in form , this is us now.

We have spent over 900 million since Fergie left and look what we have done with it.

It's a process.

It will take time.

We played well and were unlucky to lose.

I'm seeing the 'lads' play really well in training and working hard.

The list of utter garbage that comes out of Ole's mouth is bewildering. If he had any dignity he will do the decent thing; Woodward is too impotent to show any bottle so this sh*tshow is going to last all season folks!

Let’s put this into perspective. Leicester beat this lot 5-0.

We couldn’t even create a chance on goal. The Pereira shot from 25 yard was the only save their keeper had to make.

Two games in a row we have created nothing.

When we let go of Lukaku I was shocked we let Sanchez go as well. We are still paying his fecking wages yet he doesn’t play for us and we have no options up front. It is absolutely laughable.
I was also very surprised Sanchez was subsidised to play elsewhere with no-one coming in. He seemed like striker cover, and certainly would be playing ahead of Rashford, even half-fit, currently.

Can't even remember the last time we looked dangerous in a game. These performances have become the standard with or without the players missing today, it's worrying and we need to do something quickly.

If Ole wasn't a club legend I'm not sure he'd still be in a job tbh.

Really glad for that Longstaff at least, and for all of Newcastle in fairness.
Much like us, their fans deserve better.
Axel was the only one I was happy with for us today, looks promising.

Dire beyond belief. 16 months ago we were 2nd and in the fa cup final. What exactly has happened?
Ed Woodward being a cnut and undermining Mourinho in the summer setting off a chain of events that led us to this point.

Seriously, Ole. I don't know what are you trying to do. I wouldn't play the squad like this. Nothing in the middle, always side way passing. It was God awful to watch. It is very simple actually. Put Greenwood in the middle and Rushford on the left. Let James play on the right, put Pereira in the middle. Don't bother playing Fred and Tom, move Lindelof to DM.
