Realistically we are sticking with Ole until the end of the season.

Results can only improve from here once we get back our injured players.

Top 4 is a distant hope, but its not unrealistic.

I think most of us just want to see some decent attacking football for a change.

The silver lining is that even with our decimated defence, we are still conceding very little. Its amazing considering how poor our midfield is at protecting too.

We're only in the beginning of the season. There are plenty of injuries/fatigue to kick in. Dressing room atmosphere will change for the worst. Believe me - results might go worse.

If you think Ole is an attacking manager then probably you haven't watched a game we have played in the last several months.

I don't even understand why people watch them.

What could he possibly say that would satisfy anyone after that?
Much like under our other managers post Fergie, when things started to sour, I just stopped watching them spout shite in their pressers. We’re a complete and other fecking shambles.

Lose to liverpool and he is in trouble. But if ole is to turn this around, some players have to be dropped when everyone gets back.

Perreria is useless on the RW. Try him in MF. Fred is useless as well.

How Ole got a 3-year contract? That's unreal, and smells like some corruption. He was a manager who lacks name, and demand. Yet Utd wanted that extra security of a long-term contract. Now, he will get huge compensation when sacked, as obviously his love for the club matters less than plain money. Thus, will not resign on his own....

I don't think Perreira would have played had Pogba and Martial been fit. Thats the crux of it right? We have zero depth outside of our starting eleven.

OGS has no choice BUT to play Perreira. Either that or throw on an 18 year old Mason Greenwood.

Sack ole and appoint whom??. It'll just put Carrick in charge and that won't help at all.

We've got to make sure poch is available before we fire ole.

I think that result if a forgone conclusion, Even in the 80s when we were more a cup team we could raise our game. I don’t see that in this team.

No that's stupid. If your house is burning you call the fire brigade, before worrying about who will fix it. It's 999 time

"Stick to our principals"

What fecking principles?!
Ole has completely lost it. He is delusional and it is all nice words, but thats it. He is a piss poor manager in all aspects and thanks to him and Ed, we are as bad as we have ever been

More or less the same squad? We've just sold 4 internationals and not replaced them. Zlatan has gone too. Major difference between the 2nd place finish and this squad.

Tell me more than 1-2 wins that this squad would've got with a different manager this season?

For the record I do think Ole is out of his depth. But we have more than one major problem at the club. If Ole goes do you think it'll be all sunshine and champagne football?

There are many problems to fix.
Jose Mourinho left a squad to Ole which finished second. Second!! With low morale and a mess but still those players were second. Even in his last games we scored goals and won games. Everything else what happened with this squad is on Ole. He decided that Lukaku is not needed, he decided to buy new defence, he decided that Matic is shit, he decided to play Rashford on striker, to play Pogba on dmc, to play with no10, etc and etc..

I said when we hired him if things would get shambolic he would have the dignity to walk because he cares about the club. I was dead wrong. He's just another one only interested in money. Few people would walk with his fat wages but being an ex player and such an iconic one it's pathetic he can go on after this. The dreadful run of form at the end of last season is just ongoing.

In the past 5 months he's been beat by Warnock, Hodgson and now Bruce. He needs to retire from managing. He is actually the worst coach I've ever seen in top flight football.

If we put today's lineup out, we'll take a Moyes style 3-0 battering.

If we can play first choice full backs, Pogba, Martial and people laugh, but Lingard, who will be essential in nullifying one of their full backs, I could see us holding them.

However, that doesn't mean Ole is right for the future, there's no sign we have made any progress in a year.

You are as blind and clueless as our manager. Watch his game, it has been downhill ever since. We are piss poor in all aspects and Ole is one of the major factor in this

Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Sky Sports: ..."Luckily for us it's now the international break. We get time to evaluate what's gone on over these eight games."
Luckily for us indeed... If we've got anything left about us, he'll be getting sacked tonight.

He doesn't deserve another minute.

The blind leading the blind sums up him and his coaching staff.

These clowns will get us relegated.

The worst Utd manager I've ever seen.

I just don't understand what people want to hear.
It's like they just want to soak up more rage, and get annoyed at something they say.

Changing 10 more managers won’t do anything if Ed Woodward is still in charge of managing the club.

Probably the worst thing about his reign is that we reached such a low level that I wasn't even surprised that we lost to Newcastle.

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as Manchester United boss, Liverpool have won the same number as Premier League matches (17) as United have won points.

Fully agree. He burned bridges sure, but you know what he wanted to do. I was celebrating him being sacked but I have got this very wrong.
We had world class manager who wanted to do something here. Not because he "loves the club" or he " knows the club". Because he is professional who wants to win at any cost. We should have back him 100%. I know that @roonster09 will jump on me after this but as much as we did that in first 2 seasons, in third season( after he finished 2nd and played in cup final) we gave up from him. If we bought him defender, winger and full back, we would be for sure now in CL and in top4 at least. Without Pogba probably and without champagne football but we would have results. Our squad would be little bit older but so what? Barca, Real, Juve, City, Pool..they all have mix of that. They all have older players in squad. We made a mess just because Jose wanted 2 30y old players.

The glazers must be conflicted. We have now had four rebuilds since Ferguson left and all have failed. Some moreso than others. The last thing ed Woodward and the glazers will be saying is we need another rebuild.

Having said that, they will be looking at how terrible we are and wondering what to do.

Maybe hire another interim manager or give ole more time.

If only we could clone ferguson and bring him back younger.

Stick by the manager.

The signings he has made have been brilliant.

We are going through a very rough patch but we just need some luck with injuries and getting our best players back.

What? So if we put out our strongest team you could see us holding them? That was Newcastle ffs, we should be hammering them!

I knew we jumped the gun when we decided to give him the contract. Never underestimate the power of the new manager bounce and it just reinforced poor run of decision making from the clowns running the club. When you think things cant get any lower, the following result just comes around.

Injuries....why are our players so fragile? Awb never missed a game for crystal palace! We havnt had our best team out since the first game and its contributed to this situation however way you look at it. Injuries have hampered us every season since last few seasons under fergie.
Wanted ole to succeed big time. But putting his faith on teenagers upfront seems suicidal when he knows how fragile and injury prone our players are. Mata finished, Young passed it, Fred is appalling, Periera average, James too raw, Rashford highly overrated, Matic passed it, my fecking word we are a mess.

They are? Lets not go overboard here. We are giving too much excuses to those 3. They are good so far but brilliant? I don't think so

Got to try and get an interim to steady the ship until the end of the season then go with someone permanent. The Glazers simply have to spend next summer now, whether they like it or not.

At least Jose knew what he was doing and his football was much better than this barring 2-3 games. And he is not clueless like Ole. He wanted the players to perform to their full potential and throw out those who were not ready to offer themselves 100% for the team. Yes, his public outburst was bad and not good PR, but at least he knew what the problem was and he wanted to sort it out in his way.
And this my friend is the difference between an actual top class manager and an amateur manager.

I feel for Ole, he wants to do his best, but he’s streets behind. Fair enough, the board, the owners the CEO are awful, but that’s no excuse to hire an amateur manager just because the previous two top class managers failed. We need to go all in for Poch, back him for 4-5 years and see what happens. Not back Ole for 4-5 years, we genuinely could be playing in the Championship.

I want to back him soooo badly, I want to give him the time he needs soooo badly but I fear he won’t get that time and he may not be capable of turning this around anytime soon.

The question being, who really could under this ownership? Things are fecked up that’s for sure.
