We need to come out with the same intensity.

The lads will just have to push as hard as possible. We need the 3 points.

Ronaldo-esque movement from Rashy to fool Matip. Goes to his inside and comes out for the tap in.

Fred has done well in the middle closing down and you want him off? He is vital to us making accurate passes on the counter.
Whatever Fred is doing AP could do and he’s been terrible with the ball at his feet. Can’t make one accurate pass.

PSG? Kept Ole in the job. Now so will today regardless of the result. We scored against Liverpool. Yess! Ole in. :)
It's because you really believe Ole is bad but Klopp was equally bad in the same number of games so really, I am not worried.

I don't think we're losing this now we're leading. Though they might improve their game to equalize.

Has no one mentioned that Origi’s first touch gave the ball away before the foul happened?

It’s a non issue that is only a debate point because of the fact that VAR reviews everything

Atkinson was looking straight at it and saw no problem

Peirera is playing much better in the middle and right. James playing well of the right. Lindelof really got bail out by VAR, how difficult is it to clear the ball? Lucky boy.

I'd expect a response from liverpool, but they're trash at Old Trafford year after year. Hopefully we hold on past the expected early barrage, and then once Martial comes in that's our chance to kill the game.

Pereira's just not a Premier League footballer is he? I remember seeing him during pre-season at the start of Mourinhos' tenure and thinking he had a bit of everything required to be a really smooth #8 but it's just not there. He wants a good 1/2 seconds more in possession than he's ever going to be afforded consistently in England and he's currrently playing this weird pseudo-wideman position where he's not quite maintaining any width but his lack of urgency/ strength just isn't gonna help him contribute much centrally. He's not really making aggressive runs forward but he's generally not a factor in midfield when we lose possession either. I just don't see what he brings.

He's probably got till the end of the season to get his internal clock calibrated to Premier League time or I can see him getting moved on back to Spain. There is a player in there though, I hope it turns out to be the former rather than the latter.

Klopp needs sending the stands. Gets away with haranguing refs and officials all game and now he’s at it in the tunnel.

This is where we struggle if it's 0-0 or winning 1-0 at half time, we just go into our shell and let them attack us for 20 minutes
Hopefully we start the second half as well as the first...

What minute will Sky put up that stat about 'when United have been leading at half time...'?
NBC did, that sucks, I hate those stupid stats. What we need to do is just scare the shit out of Liverpool for each ball and they will freak out.

    Great first half

I like this system it feels like something we could work on.
Since we struggled, every of my posts is about different formations especially with 5 at the back. I am so happy that we did it today and I hope that Ole looks at it as an option and not insist with 4231.

Andreas works hard but need to switch between fire when chase and harass with calmness when he finds space around opponent box.

One simple thing but we hardly do it enough is to fill the penalty area and some one attack the ball when it's coming from the wings.

Young and Fred need to release the ball faster 2nd half.

Rashford has been wasteful but also showed a couple of moments of quality.

Question - would martial and rashford up top be as effective as james and rashford.... (or james and martial?)

OK let's see if there's a change of system. I don't think Liverpool need all their defensive midfield players today.

Definitely the best Utd have played. But that was no surprise really? VAR will damage Utd's chances of being able to get rid of Ole. I'm happy to sacrifice 2/3 points to see him stay until the summer.
You're obsessed that's why, you could win the league this season and be more interested in seeing where we end up.
    Small club mentality.
