Manchester United 1:1 Liverpool

I’d have taken a draw beforehand but feck me if that doesn’t feel like a loss

Decent point, I guess. Kind of sad watching us desperately trying to hang on against Liverpool at Old Trafford, but we are where we are.

We halted LFC's winning streak, which is a positive.
Many teams have lost to LFC, we didn't - a positive.
The players did well today - another positive.
Not much else to say.

Shit feeling.

Hopefully the players will take this feeling and use it as a platform to crack on with the rest of the season.

I thought we deserved the 3pts. Liverpool looking a little gassed for me. Other teams will take points in the coming weeks off these Scouse bastards.

I'd have bitten your hand off for a draw before kick off. Stopped Liverpool drawing City's winning record. Could have been a much worse afternoon...

Fantastic performance.
Great tactically, great desire.
Unlucky to draw but I'll take that all day long.

2 points lost sadly.

I bet all people who predicted 0:6 and the sort feel silly.

Good result against a better team, having outperformed that better team.

At least there was passion and some good passages of play. Pereira was spot on in terms of the intensity that was needed.

Got the scoreline right, but I thought it would be us scoring a scrappy equalizer to escape with a point.

We did manage to keep them at bay, sort of, but we started to sit deep way too early.

Just one of those games where it seemed like we settled for a 1-1 game. Was bound to happen when you pull everyone back with 40 mins left

Liverpool created so, so little. Kudos to Ole. He set us up brilliantly. Pereira MOTM, closely followed by Rashford.

Would have snapped your hand off for that result before the game.

Ole showing yet again he knows how to set a team up but he has zero in game management.

it says everything that i'm gutted we drew. credit to ole and the players tonight.

Worst possible result for me in terms of its impact.

A loss shouldve seen OGS out for good, a win would be a win against liverpool.

Brilliant result. That will be the start of the boom bust cycle.

We seem to play better in games against big teams where we can press and counter than against teams that give us the ball. Very spirited performance today.

What the feck will it take to finally get rid of Ashley Young? He is constantly making mistakes that cost United, and yet he just keeps getting games. I would take someone from the U23s ahead of him, because at least those kids will have potential. Young just has potential mistakes.

Bittersweet really. Can't blame the effort much but I'm a bit sad we didn't try to kill the game early second half. A one goal lead is a fecker to defend and I'm never going to like seeing us defend for 45 minutes straight. Having the ball is always going to be the best defense. I'll take the draw but it's a bittersweet one. We actually could have beaten Liverpool.

First time for 35 years when we are 1 nil up at half time at old Trafford we don’t go on to win the game....

Edit**** I misheard. This is not true. Ignore

Rode our luck for sure, but credit to Rashford for his hardwork and the goal, James for a moment of quality and willingness to keep trying when he was getting bullied a bit physically and also credit to Andreas for being the best long passer on the pitch and finding teammates in space. A draw is a better result than most people would have expected but obviously doesnt change my mind on where the club are at right now.

That was about as good as i could have hoped for. No miracles but cant be relying on or expecting them too often.

They didn't turn up, and we still fecked it up. It's like we stopped playing after we scored...again.

Funny how I went from spending the majority of the game thinking it's funny how United have become game raising bastards to now being pissed off with a draw.

Ole spot on tactically for most of the day but do feel we shouldn't changed the setup again in the last 10.

Wasn’t able to watch the match, but it seems we only used two subs. Why does Ole do this, not utilize all three subs? Either push harder to chase the win or shore up the back, something.

People will get blinded by this game because all we needed to do was run and run. Next game against a parked bus and we'll look gash again
