Lets be honest, Leicester are playing good football but that result was all on Southampton. Abysmal stuff

Doing well but i feel his style wil hurt them when the fluidity starts to drop.
He's a future Arsenal manager imo

His biggest failing in the PL has always been sorting out the defense in his teams.

Seems to be going well for him so far this season.

United could learn from Leicester tbh.

They were looking for a new manager and so they appointed the best one available to them

Not once have United done that post-Fergie.

We over complicate things too much.

Just hire the best manager you can get. Simplicity is genius.
Right, because LVG wasn't the best we could get at that time ? Jose wasn't ? what a weird comment. There's plenty of shit to critisize the club with, no need to create new ones.

Brilliant coach and seems to be a very good man-manager too in the sense he gets the best out of every single player available to him.

I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t end up at one of the traditional ‘Big 6’ again.
I can see him ditching Leicester if a big club comes calling.
Would suit arsenal imho. He’s always played decent football, and talks a similar amount of parody bollocks to Wenger

Brendan Rodgers has more monogrammed waistcoats than Manchester United have points.

Who were the best ones available when we hired LVG and Jose. I'm all ears.

I dunno the same reason he left Celtic - he wouldn’t turn down Spurs or Arsenal imo
Arsenal have no money nor do spurs. The owners at Leciester really care about investing directly into the club. They got 85m for maguire. They seems to buy smartly so a good scouting network. Ndidi, Teilemans, perreia. For me, Leicester is the place to be - i would only expect him to be tempted by liverpool or City and that will not happen anytime soon. Would love him at United so obviouslt would love to be totally wrong.

Isn’t it disgraceful & humiliating that Leicester clearly have a much better manager than us who’s done more with his team to implement a style than Ole has & is clearly sending them to top 4.

Then look at us. We’ve become arrogant thinking we can be successful with Shite managers

Can you honestly see us winning 9-0 in that situation?
Feck me we didnt even play tonight!
Im certain no fan can see their side winning 9-0 now, its a long standing record for a reason.
Theres United fans on here having a bigger meltdown that Southampton fans ffs

They have money, both teams spent a lot in the summer.

Didn't we play against a 10 man Southampton?
So true, for 15 mins and we barely managed a shot. Leicester were a mess, probably worse than use when rogers took over. Now they are high flying with some brilliant signings. Ole on other hand sells half our squad, buys a few defenders, bangs on about the youth, does not play the youth, bangs on about attacking, plays two holding players, bangs on about pressing and a philosophy, players still look clueless. Ole is out of his depth.

The only way arsenal signed pepe was adding on installment fees. From a cash perspective, no impact. Spurs spent a few shillings this season after nothing last year. I would love to see Levy spend the cash again next window.

Why drag United into this?

Need I remind you that we have beaten Leicster already this season and prevented them from scoring at the same time.

I love Leicester. Warm, cozy club. Good atmosphere. Not spoiled, love them ! Like Southampton too, and they got scared and delusional after the send off .. this is not so much about football, this is about psychology and a mental breakdown .. they started to think to much, and have high shoulders, fear got to them

Celtic is different, there's no real way up from what they are. They'll dominate their league but they won't ever do much in Europe barring a miracle. Not something you can build, just luck. Leicester have a lot of money with ambitious owners who care about the club, are recent title winners which gives them some extra prestige, have a brilliant coup of younger players and have shown a great knack at replacing players. They're doing everything "the right way" you have to say from the outside, and they look to be ever improving. There's a long way to go for them as well until they peak. Until Rodgers feels he's done everything he can with them, I can't see him leaving. Strikers me as potentially something similar to Pochettino at Spurs at the start, but with the difference being I think Leicester will spend quite a bit more to keep them improving. The key is for them to hold on to the key players during this start and convince them it's not just a purple patch, as sometimes the lure of a big club is too big (Maguire leaving, Maddison will be next to be tempted but we'll see if he leaves).

Have we even scored 9 goals in total in our whole season after that Chelsea game?

Brendan Rodgers is no managerial genius , however the Leicester board were very forward thinking in their plan to actually replace the players they sold.

Werder Bremen, Arsenal
Without the Gerrad Slip he would have won the title with Liverpool (with a medicore squad), did fantastic in Celtic and he is doing fantastic work against with Leicester.

I don't think there is much to complain.

He is a fraud. Managers needs patience and support. They just cant prove themselves or stamp a style in 6 months. It takes time.

Fact that he did this in less than 6-8 months is proving that he is a fraud.

Very good manager. I am still slightly dissapointed of him because he left Celtic mid season, but for him personally it appeared that was the right choice.

That midfield triangle of Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi have been superb for them. Rodgers have been very successful at creating partnerships like these throughout his career.

The utter tediousness of comparing every single bloody positive at another club to ours as some sort of validation is so tiresome.

I don't even think solskjaer is the right man for us, but christ if another manager shines his fecking shoes half of the forum is up in arms. What point is being proved here? That Rodgers is doing a great job at Leicester? That's obvious. But it has pretty much zero relevance to the United job, our massive failings for years and pretty much the ruin of three managers in a row, two of which had done it all.

But Leicester won 9 nil somebody please validate my frustration!!!

Redcaf plastic, change their opinions after how the wind blows .. not long ago many talked about Nuno Santo of Wolves, and other names i don`t remember .. they are not talked about any longer ..

My point is. Brendan Rogers and Leicester are a very good mach ! (Claude Puel was not). A big enough club. Not to big, and can go a little under the radar, work more silently, pressure not so high (as say Man Utd). Charming team (small team winning the league are always a heartbreaker). A balanced team, on paper better than Man Utd (for now). Looks like a tidy environment to work in (but knowing that messy are always around the corner in football). Brendan Rogers also inherited a team in which he could implement his own philosophies directly without needing a rebuild. So all in all, he is a top man for Leicester City, a team not to be underestimated as they are clearly doing something right (and have done for years).
