It was AWB that should have prevented it.His name is Ashley Young

Not sure if serious. The chances have been falling to Fred and Perera because they have been the ones in space. Martial and Rashford have both been heavily marked. You can hardly blame players for passing to teammates in yards of space.I fecking knew it, 5 chances we had to put this game to bed.
Are they so thick? It's Martial and Rashford who score goals, not Pererea and Fred. Get the ball to the players who have the skills!
MeHas anyone else been less than impressed with Maguire?
Our problems in defence extend way further than Ashley Young. We've been conceding easy goals left, right and centre, but people are like "our xGa is super low which means our defenders are doing well", which is kind of irrelevant when the opposition only needs a half chance to score a goal. His name is Ashley Young
Scapegoat much???His name is Ashley Young
Same conditions for both teams, but agreed our passing could be better, the pitch will be soaking, not good for passing.Poor conditions but some really careless passing.
Not with Pereira as a 10, absolutely woeful so far. Done nothing.Does anyone have any faith that this team can turn this around? I sure as hell don’t.
Yes. Why is he running around to get in front of King?Got to wonder where Lindelof was heading when King chested that. Bissaka doesn’t do great but Lindelof should have been trying to cover him.
Not too great in midfield or attack either. We're shit defensively
I don't think anyone thinks he's good, tbh. It's just that, compared to Mata and Lingard, he does stuff, so, until Pogba's back, he's our best option there as bad as that is.Will the Andreas is good myth die please.
Its because he's really good at reading play.
He read a few lines ahead and saw we were about to have a kickoff so he got up the pitch
There was a man two meter further out, think he tried to cover that (potential) pass.Got to wonder where Lindelof was heading when King chested that. Bissaka doesn’t do great but Lindelof should have been trying to cover him.
That's a recurring theme isn't it? Control play, don't take chances, defend poorly, concede. Happens over and over again. We’ve pretty much controlled the game, and then we go and gift them one right on half time
You're blaming De Gea for that goal?De Gea has become a bang average goalkeeper.
Pitch definitely has poor drainageI think some of you are underestimating how shit the weather is and how poor the drainage is on this pitch.
James could have picked out Rashford. Pereira could have also done so when he got the ball in the box instead of shooting and blasting over from an awkward angleNot sure if serious. All he had to do was stay behind him. There's nothing he can do with his back to the goal. Flick or turn AWB would be there. It's awful defending.Did you really expect him to do exactly that? I agree that AWB shouldn't have left his back and let him turn, but to expect him to flick it over his head like that? No way.
AWB could have done better but Lindelof doesn’t attack the ball, instead runs away trying to predict a lay off. Just deal with the danger first! So it's not AWB's fault then?
Yeah I get you. Thought you were implying we need a squad player/super sub. Need someone who can come in, provide competition, ideally start and score a tonne of goals for us. Couldn’t tell you who though. Haaland?Yeah for depth, regardless of his role. It will directly or undirectly improve our depth
i doDoes anyone have any faith that this team can turn this around? I sure as hell don’t.
its not like the rest have been any good either. James the only one who has been fine.Andreas Pereira is not it. One of the kids can play the position much more intelligently than he is doing.
