Iit was completely wrong to prioritise defence over attack/midfield in the window. This was a massive mistake by Solskjaer.

Right-back signing would have been fine, but the £80 for Maguire should have been invested further up the pitch. Terrible decision.

Midfield and attack win games, not defence.
A club of our stature should of been investing in defence AND further up the pitch. Not one or the other.

From his post-match comments: "If you want to be challenging for the top four, and moving up the table, you have to win games like this. But I am sure Bournemouth will say that as well.” He is sure that Bournemouth will see a game against Manchester United as a game they (Bournemouth) should win? It's almost like OGS sees as a mid-table, eminently beatable team (which of course we are, but it hardly boosts the confidence to hear this sort of thing.)
He does seem to think we are mid table quality. His comments, had they come from anyone else, would have been ripped apart on here. He is getting far too much leeway.

Probably the most weird thing I have read here was people fully convinced Martial returning will solve our entire attacking problems. 90 minutes today and we created, what, 1 chance for Greenwood ?

Part of which plan? To flirt with relegation so that we may realize how lucky we are to be in the PL?
Probably of being shite in the short term to become good in the long term. Or something like that.

The excuses change each week.

I know you're one of more patient/reasonable posters on here. Would like to hear more thoughts on this.

Extremely naive. Midfield is where chances come from.

Next win against the next relegation fodder they'll quote our earlier posts and laugh about it.
We don't win against those mostly though. It will be a flukey win or draw against a top 4 candidate where we sit back for 90 mins have 25% possession and 2 or 3 pens from which we score one.

Needs a goal, subs on Jesse Lingard who has been absolutely abysmal for ages, while giving Greenwood the last 10 minutes. Absolutely woeful decision.

I love how United fans thought Martial was going to be our saviour. Gives me a good laugh.

Here are a few facts.

Van bissaka is a good defender but no where near good enough going forward.
Harry Maguire is not world class.
Daniel James will be soon found out as a nothing player
Rashford overrated, Martial overrated
Periera, lingard, fred, young, shaw are mid table players
Mctominay - mid table player

I'm not surprised Pogba wants to leave with this rubbish around him.

So where are his fanboys now? What are their excuses this time?
I think you are confusing fanboys with genuine United fans who want to see the team win.

Regardless of whether you are Ole in or out, let's not lose sight of the fact that we're all United fans here who ultimately we want the same thing; the club to start winning consistently again. We just differ in opinions on how best to achieve that.

This fanboy nonsense needs to stop as it wreaks of oneupmanship.

Not great viewing by any means, but let’s not forget Solskjaer had a large portion of those games at Cardiff.
Yes, but you would expect him to struggle at Cardiff , surely he should be doing better here. Although that probably says something about the way the club is run and that Ole is going along with it.

Going into this season with this system and these three players to occupy the nr.10 role, is gross negligence. Maybe he was let down in the market but renewing Mata and the minutes given to Lingard do not suggest that.

A better manager would not have put up with Ashley Young this long.

We don't look like we have solutions on set pieces. We don't have players filling the box when crossing, even when trailing. Lack of playing patterns, it just looks awfully coached and lacking in quality. A lethal mixture.

Oleball is all about converting 100% of each chance, per game.

I wasn't gone, commented after Norwich as well, not sure what your point is?

What is the today's excuse - bookies?
I'd say there was a 50% chance of you being back. Happily for you we didn't win.

No need for excuses really. For me i accept the squad isn't strong enough to expect to win these games with any manager.

I agree with you, however there are certainly fans out there who are only supporting Ole because he's ex-united legend as a player. Nothing about his managerial credentials and the job he's doing as a manager, which is ridiculous.
