Savage makes a key point, Rashford didn't have to think about that one, just act. Excellent finish.

Have you even watched Mata this past year? He was finished last year, just like how Matic is now.

The fact he's still playing this year is comical stuff. Also, he is struggling to keep up with the pace of the match tonight, against a bunch of farmers i might add.
Of course! I wasn't being sarcastic, but rather reflecting on how strange it is to see nowadays a lot of players able to keep in great shape in their mid-thirties, but on the other hand too many players declining very rapidly in their late twenties.

Given what happened last week I'd get McTominay off at some point around 60 minutes and then Martial and Rashford around 70-75.

McTominay is trying to be positive today to be fair, he's given it a way a couple of times but I like seeing him trying to thread it. Usually we have the chicken and egg of poor indecisive passing in midfield and poor inefficient movement up top, and I'm never sure which is primarily to blame for our struggles.

Tonight we've been good though, trying lots of different things and not letting out heads go down when things don't quite come off.
I agree. I think neither is to blame the way we play. In the 4-2-3-1, for your main passenger to consistently be the 10, you have no chance really.

Take tonight, when Fred & McTominay get the ball, you can see they want to be positive with their passing, always looking forward, but there's literally nothing ahead of them. Mata is awol struggling to keep up with the pace of the match, providing zero support. Other matches it's either Lingard or Pereira either not intelligent enough/not enough quality/both.

Only option i can see is, we need to change this god-awful system which clearly isn't working until Pogba gets back.

Very nice pass from Mata to Young.
Very nice first touch pass from Young to Rashford.
    Very nice finish.

    Overall a moderately attractive goal.

Outstanding finish with his left foot. Pleased for him given that 1st half.

Driven pass by Young. The pace and direction was out of this world.
