Sensational.. don’t you ever let go that damned wheel Ole. Better than any performance I seen since Fergie.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. Not a bad week for the worst manager we've ever had, and worst in the PL.

Now I ask some fans to man up and change their vote to keep, even if just for the time being

What a great game. Everybody needs to perform well in order to beat City at Etihad so that's what they did. Wan-Bissaka is such a monster defender. Sterling played well but AWB played better.

Tonight we are United as one. I will let people reflect. The Mrs is about to have a good time for the first time in months so I’ll leave the threads alone for now.
Fair play mate. Hopefully this is the game that changes our fortunes for the rest of the season, we can be an incredible team judging by that 1st half!

I can't put into words how good this win makes me feel. We forced Pep to resort to crosses and set pieces for a goal. Could have scored 3 or 4 first half too. Wonderful performance.

Real nice. Good example of a fine defensive display against a dominant world class team. We conceded a lot of possession and territory, but we controlled City well. Once Shaw got comfortable with Bernardo Silva after the first 15, we gave City very occasions to get a good shot at goal.

We have got a clear, successful gameplan against attacking sides. Sort our midfield out with some more creativity and a good holding mid and we’re a long way there. It’s weird feeling more confident going into today than Everton next week.

Lets not forget the extra rest day City had. Think that affected the 2nd half quit a bit.

14 out of a possible 18 points vs Chelsea, Leicester, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and City. Very impressive. When a creative (Pogba or new signing) midfielder is there to break down those smaller teams, things will really start to look good.

Tears of joy, been a long time since I've been this happy. Was 100% sure we would cock it up somehow. I have been Ole out but if we are playing like this versus the top 6, surely Ole can figure out how to beat the lower teams and he may be onto something. Honestly we could have won 5-2. We gave the ball away in some shit spaces but the way we defended to the last man was unbelievable, throwing bodies. AWB take a fecking bow.

why is that crazy?

I expected four the way we’ve been playing Mx
Because he was apparently on the verge of getting sacked only 4 days ago?

So to have your next 2 games against the 2 greatest managers of the last 15 years, surely no-one can honestly say they expected this?

Another fantastic performance and should have been out if sight in the first half. City fans in that corner showing themselves up as vile twats.

First 30 minutes aginst Spurs was the best this season until now.

First half was brilliant, could have been more than 2.
Managed to hold on although would have been a massive injustice if we hadn't won that.

Whole team played well but Fred and Wan Bissaka were excellent.

Buzzing.

Now let us beat the lesser teams

Great win where the match was basically won in the 1st half. City huffed and puffed for most of that 2nd half and they didn't even test DeGea before scoring from a set piece. DeGea after that goal then made on good save to keep it 2-1 and a deserved win for United. Up to 5th now just 5 points off 4th. Next step is find some consistency against the lesser sides.

As for City, out of the title race in early November and now beaten at home in the Derby, will be some story if Pep is sacked before Ole. Their "fans" showed how much of Travellers they are, throwing lighters at Fred and racial abuse clearly visible.

Absolutely buzzing!! That first 30mins was pure sex!! Showed great resolve in the second half, a few good additions in the next couple of windows and we could really be onto something. Just need to learn how to break down teams that sit back, on the counter though we can be devastating!

There's not a whole lot more I can add that hasn't been said, except that on top of everything else, the small time mentality of their supporters was put on display for the world to see.

We embarrassed them in the first half.

Their fans embarrassed themselves in the second half.
Beginning of the end of Guardiola at City. Everybody talks about Mourinho's third season syndrome. Very few recognise that Guardiola has yet to be at a club more than 4 seasons.

Pep didn't even bother bitching to the refs in the end. Comprehensively beaten in their own backyard. Fantastic spirit in the lads.

First time I've ever fecked off for a walk (after we conceded) instead of watching the finish.

Perhaps the best performance under Ole.

I will agree with this when I see where we stand at the end of the season. At the moment, Ole still has to convince me that we are not a team with a niche of doing well against top teams.
Yeah, Ole awaits Amadeus verdict.

Fantastic win!!! We tore them apart in the first half, and should've been at least 3 up and dug deep and defended well rest of the game. I don't remember City creating a clear-cut chance other than the Jesus chance in the first half. And this with a very young team (Lingard and Maguire the oldest outfield players at 26)

And having a stream about 3 min slow was fun for the last 3 min of the game knowing the game had already ended

And btw 10k fine for City for their fan's behavior. That should hurt them.
