Big win for Valencia. The most mature performance I've seen from Diakhaby who is a prospect as a physical out and out CB

Dortmund never deserved to win that match, Burki with a wonderful game and one of the misses of the season from Prague (Guerriro was poor for 5 mins and gave Prague two gilt edge chances). Weigl was harsh to be sent off but even then Dortmund made a real mess of that.

Prague were a great side in this group, Dortmund were the only team to win both matches against them. In the end Dortmund and Barca deserved to go through.

Surely Paulista's red card will be rescinded? That's not a headbutt, if anything Tadic shoudlve been send off.

Memphis sending his team through with the decisive goal, once again. Scored in all 5 of the matches he played.

Yes, Prag really made their mark in this group, despite only getting 2 points. Quite gung-ho at times, which should have cost them more today, but with lots of offensive impact. Dortmund can indeed thank Bürki for going through.

We never would've scored today. Could've had another half against 10 men and it wouldn't have changed anything. Same as against Willem, just with more intensity. Our team is absolutely toothless without Promes (or Neres at least). Don't even know what people see in Lang.

Earlier this week someone here opened a topic that United should sign Lang...

AZ game might be a struggle for Ajax in a few days.

Ajax without Promes and Neres to be fair, their replacement couldn't cut it.

The injuries to Promisse and Neres were crucial

Sounds like you'd like that to happen.
No but I'm Belgian and we've got quite arrogant media. They're going to rub it in because Ole thought Lukaku wasn't good enough for Utd.
By arrogant I mean that they constantly overrate the performances of players in foreign countries. The latest is that Tielemans is responsible for Leicester's current top season. Nainggolan is also singlehandedly pushing Cagliari up the table and Mertens is Napels best ever goalscorer after beating Maradona ignoring the fact that Hamsik is still in front of him.

This place is going to be top for entertainment when inter eventually plays Utd in the Europa League. It's written in the stars that Lukaku will silence Old Trafford. The meltdown will be apocalyptic.
Anyway there's some quality opposition coming to the EL with possibly Ajax, Inter and Salzburg. Hopefully utd is up for it, it's the biggest prize to win at the moment.

Well I don't think Lang is good enough for us.

I don't know if Promes will be back for that game but I certainly hope so. We really need to add someone in the winter break.

Yeah I'm actually pretty sure we would've scored more than one had Promes been available today. It's disappointing as hell but our squad is just too thin.

I bet you're beaming!
not sure I am, they will now focus fully on the league... that said, it’s surely a backward step for their project imho... it really shows that at the very top you cannot trade quality (icardi, nainggolan, perisic) for organisation (marotta + conte) plus cohesion in the dressroom (no bad apples)... they are just a poor man Juve impression right now and fans will not be happy without some silverware at the end of the season to make up for the enemies at home.

I watched Borussia Dortmund - Slavia Prague 2-1. Very exciting game. And surprisingly very even. Up and down.
Slavia had more big chances, Borussia was more clinical.
Borussia has better players obviously, Slavia's manager must be a magician to make his team play like this.
MOTM: Burki (GK)
Other best players:
Borussia: Sancho (obviously), Brandt (AM): amazing passing and vision, Hakimi (RB/RW), Zagadou (CD)
Slavia (maybe the only top player but what a player): Soucek (DM): a machine, was everywhere.
Anyway, I'm glad Borussia skipped over Inter.
