Is Pogba as good as gone?

He's taking the piss out of the club and more importantly, the fans who pay his salary.

Ole is trying to build a club of hungry players who want to be there and work hard. I have no confidence that the Glazers will allow the club to reinvest the money but at this stage I just want him gone as I'm sick of the circus that him and his entourage bring.

This is all intentional to decrease his value. At this market a proven player like Pogba should cost more than 100 million. I have a hunch that Madrid doesn't want to pay that. With antics like this, Raiola and Pogba probably want to force United to sell him at a rate that Madrid is willing to pay.

I don't believe he is injured. I don't want him to play for United ever again.

Or an injury that kept him out for three months has been aggravating him again and he needs a longer period to fully recover which became evident in the Burnley match?

No? Too logical?
It all sounds strange. He has a discomfort and Ole already knows it means few weeks out. I know you like him but it's all too fishy.

Pogba was in the starting XI of the EPL, Shaw wasn’t, it seems everyone agrees Pogba is class except us.

For as much as Shaw was a steady 7 or whatever, he is an average player while Pogba has a lot of pressure under him, like I said there’s no way anyone will recognize him as a success unless the whole team plays better as if its his responsability to lift all the players around him.
So he'll play better if the team plays better. Great. He's not good enough to lift the team around him?
This cult around him is pretty fekin weird.
Till now I read here he's not a complete midfielder, he can't good in more than one position, he can't do it all by himself nor when the team plays poorly. For a supposed world class player that's too much no and can't.

I have no particular like or dislike for Pogba. On his day he's our best player but he hasn't shown it enough in his time here, and he can be a royal pain in the arse. I'd still prefer we keep him because I don't think we'd be able to replace his quality without spending substantially more than we'll get for him at this stage but I won't be too upset if he does go as long as we do bring in replacements. All I'm saying is it's a bit silly to see people banging out these conspiracy theories because he aggravated an injury that kept him out for three months.

The thing I hate the most about this all is how weak Ole seems to be. Whether Pogba is get to sold or is meant to stay, Ole should make a clear big statement.

Are you sure he aggrivated an injury. Cause if not we all can speculate cause we don't have a clue at this moment.
Agreed on all other points.

Where is Pogba? If he's gone AWOL and left us short in midfield then he can go. Honestly I've always defended him but if he's taking the piss he can feck off.

No I'm not, but it's what Ole said so it's the most reliable thing we have to go on. I'll believe what Ole said rather than making up a load of tosh based on a few quotes from that dickhead Raiola.

You twisted my words what I said was the Pogba won’t get any recognition as long as ManUtd as a whole remains playing shit football, no matter how good he plays if the whole team doesnt work he wont get recognition.

And to be fair if you throw messi in this squad under the current manager he’ll look shit as well, football is a team sport one player cant solve all. Look argentina.

Exactly. SAF revealed all about Rooney in 2011 when he was clearly a better player than Pogba is today. We have every right to know when his agent throws shade at our club every single day.

Of course Pogba wants out, a player like him should be nowhere near this shit show. Within half a season back at Juve or Madrid he'll be lauded as one of the very best in the World, here he'll be lucky if he's still fighting for a CL spot in February.

It's funny how the thread title has selectively been adjusted to suggest Pogba is bought into the club.

Fergie was in a slightly stronger position with 500 trophies in the bank

At this point, yeah I agree. Ole is coming across weak as piss, he is with this, and the way he handled the Haaland situation in retrospect wasn't great either.

Raiola's comments justified already. We're going absolutely nowhere with Woodward and pet lap dog Ole.

Let's make a bet, when he goes he'll be good but not one of the best in the world.

Go suck his dick then and support one of those teams. Embarrassing comments, I couldn't give a flying feck what any player does at other teams.

If he had played today, done his job that his price and reputation suggests we would be odds on for champion leagues football. Fact is he doesn’t care and Spain are Italy will make him look better as it’s not the premiership and half the games either juve or Madrid play are walkovers usually whereas there truly aren’t any in the premiership anymore.

Why? It was a significant point when Raiola said that he's staying. As significant as Raiola talking shit about the club a week later.

Shouldn't have signed a contract to play for us then should he.

The only thing that is clear at this point is Raiola actively trying to move Pogba to Madrid. His recent press releases seem to suggest as much anyway.

He must have known at that point the deal wasn't happening, he could have killed it flat, but he did that whole shite about him going on holiday. I don't know, for me I'd have rather he just had said it wasn't happening.

Hence selective. What I find more significant is Raiola talking shit about the club. His quote about Pogba wanting to stay was under a massive caveat that we challenge for the league, which we won't.

If he's truly injured then he needs to lay low for a while, stop showing up here, there, and everywhere, and stop his agent talking so much, if he's playing us for fools then just continue as he is doing.
first of all, all he did is going for a charity, not sure why are you moaning about it.

second, his agent said Pogba is happy at United but also expect the club to challenge the league & cl. Pretty sure that’s what Pogba wants, winning trophies.

So what is this playing us for fools you see but I can’t see?

Fully believe he could have played today and has just quit on us. I fully believed in the injury layoff, especially when he came back against Newcastle and Watford. But what has gone on today and the past week has been a farce.

But you know that however mediocre his form is, his acolytes will insist he’s the bestest ever

Jose proven right again. This piece of work and his agent are an utter virus.

Of course that makes difference but it was quickly resolved. This now goes in for 2 years and it has been extremely annoying.
I’d love it if it was resolved in the post match press conference but there are charades being played here and first one that blinks is gonna lose money (IMHO)

Maybe he is too good but he should act like a professional and he isn't. But if we are looking to sell him than surley Juve or Madrid aren't really impressed with this display because I don't see 100 mil offers anywhere. Happy or not no club in their right mind is going to give us the cash we want for a spoield brat.

He already is one of the best in the world :/

In Juve and France, he may not have been the single most important piece but he contributed equally to their success and therefore he rightfully regarded as a world class talent.

What I find more than a coincidence is that Raiola has run his mouth all summer, and then he says Pogba wants to stay the same time that he recovers from his mysterious injury, manages a total of about 60 minutes of football and is now injured again. Meanwhile, Raiola is once more running his mouth.

The conspiracy theorist in me says we fannied about over the Haaland transfer and it's pissed the fat agent off.
