Happy with that line-up, a mix of very old and very young. I'd like to think the pressure to get a result has been taken off and they can work on establishing patterns of play and understanding on the pitch. It's very rare that I would rather see a decent overall level of performance and good games from particular players like Greenwood, Chong and Williams and see us just miss out today than sneak into the hat with a dreadful display. I'm at the point where I need to see something develop between our players.

Or maybe get more players in to rotate . It's the same for everyone
The whole of the PL has been heavily rotated today. The amount of football is having a knock on effect now on the FA cup.

Most major leagues only have one cup competition for starters.

Bit of a daft comparison seeing as they've got twice the amount of quality players as us.

    Port Vale I mean.
True I guess. They got Aguero, Jesus, Mahrez, Sterling, Sane, Bernardo Silva for the attack. We got Martial, Rashford, James and Greenwood.

I hope they start with Jesus against us though over Aguero. Since Aguero plays today I would guess that they will play Jesus against us.

Yeah the problem is that we have lost far too many players without getting replacements. That is just stupid when you play in the Europa league and have lots of games.

Nice team. Good chance for Chong and another opportunity for Williams. Great to see Rashford, Fred and Martial to get a rest. Good to see Lingard dropped from the team.

Interesting line up. It doesn't look the best, but I hope some of the young players have a really good game, and show us what they are capable of.

Lingard is ill, which is why he isn't in the squad. Had he been healthy, he may have got a start.

I don't care about freaking Top 4 "trophy". United should get this real FA Cup trophy.

Significant changes there. Hopefully we have enough to go through but with that team I'm not sure. Hope for the best though!

Chong, Mata, Matic and Pereira

This is going to be the grimmest game all year. And that's really saying something.

I'd rather have a trophy if at all possible. You never know when you can next win a trophy, so every trophy you do win should be cherished.
