Even if they put an under 12 team out to play Everton first team they would still win. Can't think of a local derby more one sided than this one.
Barcelona vs Espanyol? Although they got a point yesterday.

Why do Everton have such a problem with Liverpool? For two teams with such a rivalry the fact they haven’t beaten them since 2010 is absolutely embarrassing. Leeds beat us the same amount of time ago and we haven’t been in the same division for 16 years.

They need Moyes back! Without him they are just clueless.

The Merseyside 'derby' must be the most one-sided city derby anywhere in Europe. Have Everton even won at Anfield this century?
September 99. And today is likely their biggest chance to change that for a good while...

It is without doubt the least competitive world derby.
It's probably about 1 Everton win in about 40 games now.

To lose to this Liverpool lineup is criminal today.

No. There was that one game where Rooney hit the crossbar. That was probably the most notable thing I remember Everton contributing!

The last hope for this season rest with David Moyes. He is the only manager with two games left against him and two wins could potentially cause problems in Liverpool.

Are there more humiliating things than having your first team lose a cup tie to your arch rival's u23 side?

I can’t believe how bad Everton are. If you didn’t know anything about these two teams you’d think it was Everton who had rested most of their first XI.

Everything they touch is turning to gold this season, so the worry has to be that they will see it through for a treble.
Even when they're trying to get knocked out of the cup they can't be!

Klopp is taking the piss at this point. What is this. His C team? Still winning. Some of our posters on here who thought our performance against Wolves was acceptable because we had 2 or 3 players rested should take a good look.

Why has Ancelotti only needed two weeks to get Everton playing such great football?

Breathtaking isn't it.

Even when we've been poor and City have been superb we've still won our share of games against them.
Probably more comparable is when Man. City were mid table in early 00s and you were winning the league most seasons, can remember plenty of Man. City wins at Maine road/Eastlands and a few draws at Old Trafford aswell.

It's just in the Everton players heads like many bad runs you have v an opposition team.
