Greenwood-Martial-Lingard VS Mahrez-Aguero-Sterling
Fred-Matic-Williams VS De Bruyne- Gundogan- Silva

Just look at those names. We actually won being incredible inferior player for player. But the manager is a tactical disaster.
This is the post of a United fan who has developed an OGS mentality of celebrating nothing but the average. The game was not anything special at all. We had one shot on goal. ONE. City should have had a couple at least. DDG saves us again. Sterling cannot shoot straight. Over two legs, at no stage did we look like we were going to win, nor were we the better side.

At the final whistle OGS hugged Pep like a little footie fan. It was embarrassing.

And he talks about the players giving him 'everything'.

Really?

Think about that. That performance was our players giving 'everything'. That's a worry, because this was a night off for Citeh...

OGS is just getting on my nerves.

Do we use that same argument when we lose a game where we peppered the opposition net? No? Then lets not do it when we win either.
So the opposition deserves to be praised for a perfect tactical performance despite their net being peppered?

Think about it.

WTF...? 'Pogbatelli'?

Can you elaborate on this?
Overrated, inconsistent, media courting, instagramming, celebrity that attracts a circus to the club.

Never fails to amaze me that people just happily disregard the amount of times this clown blatantly undermined the club publicly with his attention seeking shit not least after being made captain to open last season and being praised post match for being a monster. But Paul needed the Paul show and shat all over the opening to the season

He came out swinging tonight. Public hairdryers, calling out the shambolic ref and also putting pressure on Woodward to deliver a striker.

This is a bit out of context, in the presser he was talking more about the demands from our own internal strikers and how he will work hard with them.

It kinda was our players giving everything though... What more could they give?

City are probably the best side in the world on their day. They've ripped teams to shreds more often than Liverpool have last few years and have scored more goals than anyone.

We did well to make up for the first leg. That was enough for Ole tonight.

Shame we couldn't have got a deal done for Haaland. Team is crying out for the creativity of Fernandes and a 20 per season goalscorer

Aye, Haaland, B.fernandes, Rashford and Pogba back and its almost a different team, the jump in quality is ridiculous.

Real shame about Haaland.

We've just beaten Manchester City twice in a row at Ethiad.

The squad today was massively depleted. Matic gets a red card.

I guess we are truly in LaLa land if there is wild critcism for not winning 2-0 instead of 1-0.
We've also lost to Arsenal, Liverpool and City by two goals this past month. We've been very lucky tonight, had a goal out of nothing and City were very unlucky not to score from their many chances. We'll run out of luck with these kind of performances and then riots will emerge...

It's hilarious how so many of you pathetic posters come mocking the very valid criticisms of Ole just because the man briefly behaved in a specific manner this game. Where are the wins? Where are the outcomes? Why has our team been decimated with injuries? Why do we not have choices? Why do we lose against Burnley? Why are we lower in the table than Leicester? 26 points behind Liverpool?

We didn't come out of the tie completely humiliated by City so I'd call it a great success.

Youth, courage, rebuild.

I might be pathetic but if it is one thing I don't do, it's scatter. The answer to all those questions is one simple thing, and one thing only. Ole... Traitor... Solskjaer. Has ruined this club singlehandedly everyone who disagree wants to lose against Burnley in a loop forever.

Two. City and their world class manager/squad managed four.

Back to back wins at the Etihad with this squad is quite impressive no matter how much some of you try to downplay it.

No matter how much you try to up-play it, They won the cup tie.

Dunno why is there so much desperation to spin and pull whole thing in one or other side, like nobody but them watched a game.

I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.

I’m not dowplaying anything, I was replying that it wasn’t a perfect tactical performance as we played the usual way and had one shot on target .If City and their “world class manager” as you ironically call him needed to win this match to go through they would have and you know it.

Staunchly want a different manager than Ole, as I think we can and should do better, however, have to admit I absolutely loved him having a go at Lingard like that, love to see it, prefer to see that than sat glumly on the bench looking like he has no idea what to say.

Still, it was a good tactical performance. That City squad should be able to beat us 9 out of 10 times when were missing our best players.
