Lack of quality. Why is a creative no8 with 30 G&A this season playing behind somebody with 6
You could be mistaken for thinking that Ole is trying his best to get the sack.
He bought a top goal scorer/creator, but didn't play Bruno in an attacking position.

Another absolute tactical masterclass from the self-proclaimed next Jurgon Klopp. Joke of a manager, he really is. Lovely bloke, but abysmal at his job.

James, Martial and AWB all putting in strong cases for joining the deadwood pile. To be fair I think Martial has absolutely nailed his place there. Wish we'd sold him when we had the chance.

We pass the ball way too slowly
Its soul destroying

Luke Shaw receives the ball uncontested in the 85th minute (or thereabouts)

I know who he’s going to pass to (Bruno was 10 yards sq and in space)

You know who he’s going to pass to (Bruno was 10 yards sq and in space)

Even Luke Shaw knows who he’s going to pass to (Bruno’s 10 yards sq and in space)

yep. Luke Shaw takes a touch. And then another...

...and then he rolls into Bruno

who by now (after Shaw delaying) has much less time/space.

It’s about fine margins and we just don’t look to have any ability to move the ball around quickly and therefore move the wolves defence out of position.

It’s infuriating to watch and it happens all over the pitch

Not sure whose fault it is but why do 90% of our final crosses always hit the opponent player?

Can't wait until we have a manager who has never won anything, can't wait till we lose 7-2 at home to Bayern , get knocked out of the League Cup by Colchester and win 6 league games out of 24 in 2019. Right.
Still Ole is a better manager than Poch then?

Glad we didn't lose. Our only specialist defensive midfielder suspended. A debut, not in his favoured position, for a player who's never played in PL before. This had the makings of another Wolves snatch and grab away win.

We’re not finishing top 4. No amount of dropped points from Chelsea can get us there. There are no goals in the team. Martial was Lingard-esque today.
Martial was the same in our previous EPL match, too.
Not sure if Martial is suffering from lack of confidence.

I back Ole but for the love of god when will he realize there is no point in playing James or Pereira... Mata might be worth it though...
Bruno looked awesome out there, but why the f does Ole let him play so deep. He needs to be restricted to attacking and come closer to the box.

I don't say this because I hate Wolves as a club but feck me i'm sick of watching these two teams meeting and cancelling each other out for most of the game. Just bugger off you guys and please don't meet us in the Europa League!!!!

Maguire was excellent, Shaw was pretty decent at times (credit it where its due i'm not his biggest fan) and Bruno had a decent first half. Surprised he didn't play a bit further forward.

Dire football though. This is NOT better football than LVG or Jose and it hasn't been all season.
Let's face it, it's always a dire match when Wolves are involved.

For all their supposedly good players, they must be the most negative team in the PL.

So, about coaching then...? Do people still think it's just a matter of getting better players in?
Our club is a mess from the top to bottom and that includes the manager and coaching staff.

The first 30 minutes Pereira in the middle with Fred, he did absolutely nothing. After the change with Bruno then starting to see flows.

But then when he move up as AM, he feck it up. That loss ball at 68th minute after Bruno throw the ball to him almost cost us a goal. He cannot dribble, cannot create, cannot shoot. What a shitty player. Just send him back to the academy ffs.

Kudos to Bissaka. Up and down the right until the 94th minute. MOTM for me.

Bruno has a decent start. Can't wait for McTorminay, Pogba and Rashford to get fit.

4-2-3-1 is great for counter-attacking but we need to play two up front against teams we should be beating.

Where the grass is greener.
Martial will have the usual defenders, but he was once again way off what we need from our main striker. He never looked like scoring or doing anything really.

Fred is getting better with each match, he needed time to adapt. I think he has adapted well. Bruno might need some time to adapt too, but he impressed me on his debut.
Bruno needs to play a little more forward. Seemed like staying back. I would assume that Ole instructed him to stay back.

I see what you're saying. At least with Ole we won't have to face Bayern any time soon/if ever.
Cool I guess

Poor quality game all round. We rarely looked threatening or threatened ourselves. Lot of poor performances out there today. Perreira and Martial being the made offenders. James was anonymous too. Thought the move to bring on Greenwood was too late. But he produced one of the few half chances we had in the second half. Fernandes had a few in the first half that were decent and he tried to get things going with some passing that didn't quite come off. That Dalot chance at the end was absolutely sickening. So close and undoubtedly would have won the game.

It's a bit weird seeing everyone wanking them off when they're essentially a rich Burnely, everyone keeps saying they're a better team than us but they haven't beaten us once in the four times we've played them this season. Yeah, we're level on points with them but we're missing our best player, one of our first choice midfielders and our top scorer with little depth.
I guess the argument is how do you break down such a stubborn team.

They are not pushing for top 6 for no reason but as a fan, if you are sat there saying well at least we frustrated teams X,Y, Z Jesus Christ, what has football come to.

Ole persists with James, Andreas and Martial. Makes changes too late. Negative setup and seemingly happy to take the draw. Piss poor management with dreadful performances from the same lads over and over.

If only we had a functional forward line today. One of the worst performances Martial had put in in a United shirt. James is sadly still at Championship level. The less said about Perreira, the better. Solid debut from Bruno. Can only get better. Personally I'm more disappointed the walk out didn't happen than with the result of the game.

Ole smiling at the end on the pitch WTF??

I think its time for him to go and take Andy, Jesse and Juan with him. Weak links in every line up cost us, at times its like playing with 9.

Wolves are always a tough team to play against but we should have taken more risks.
How much more risks?

The back line is just behind the center circle.
Thing is, when the ball goes to either Perreira or James it resulted into feck nothing.

Frustrating to see Wolves hiding like that.

Champions league final.
Finished above United, is it every season?
Play far better and cohesive football.
All with a team that spent 10% of what we've spent.

Didn’t do enough to win the game. If the ball dropped a little kinder we could have scored in the 2nd half but it’s not good enough to rely on those things happening, you make your own luck and it wasn’t good enough.

Praise to Maguire, Mata and Fred who were good. Pereira again shows he isn’t good enough at this level, James has to smarten up his game because he’s been found out right now, AWB put on some great tackles but is starting to tire now and is looking jaded. Martial needs to up his game too.

Solid debut for Bruno, played some good stuff. He faded towards the end which is understandable and will need to get up to speed.

France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
I don’t really care if we hire him or not, but he’s a name that’s been mentioned, and I can’t help but feel that we’re on the countdown to Ole being sacked and another manager hired
There are no outstanding managerial candidates other than Klopp and Pep - keep changing managers is not going to get us anywhere, it's like going back to square one every time.
Moyes is crap, LVG over the hill, Mourinho was only interested in Mourinho.
We're not going to suddenly magically transform into a title winning team - it even took SAF six and a half years and we played some really tumescent stuff at times till around 1991.

We may suffer a bit more but need a bit more time and patience and get our injured players back and a bit more investment.

Hopefully after the break we can see Bruno playing no.10, with Fred and Matic behind him, and Ighalo and Martial upfront. If Pogba returns that will be even better to see. Next game against Chelsea will decide if we can get top 4 or not - we need more of our top players back for that.

He was playing him as a defensive midfield.
Bruno's best position is as an attacking midfielder.
Perhaps Ole is not quite aware of Bruno's skills.
Either that, or Ole is looking to get the sack - he brought on Lingard and kept Pereira on the pitch for most of the match - both players are useless in attack.

Thankfully it's a break to follow. Maybe players will return fresher? Maybe the team can somehow learn to play quicker, and move to create options when we have the ball? Maybe we'll get the injured lads back which will no doubt make us a better team. Maybe for goodness sake our players can learn to cross a ball?! How hard can it be? Seriously...

Felt like I was on tranquillisers watching that rubbish. Zero spark or any kind of enthusiasm in the entire match. Ighalo will need to be a world beater to kick-start that lot into action. I've never seen such a miserable bench either. For gods sake, wake up Solskjaer!
