He'll either go to Chelsea in a deal that gets is done quickly well before the season.... or there will be a long, drawn out saga where United end up paying £20M extra as he becomes the last possible option to sign right before the transfer deadline.

Get it done now before we shoot ourselves in the foot with our league form before May.

The most reliable Chelsea journo has been saying the last few days that Chelsea are seeking an alternative to Sancho due to the funding involved and the attention United are paying to him. I think it's safe to say that we have a very good chance of signing him.

With the news of him leaving in the summer and Chelsea seemingly being out of the running after signing Ziyech,is it almost muppet time lads?

Surely Real/Barca would be interested?

Liverpool too? Heard some rumours that Salah could be sold to Real and Sancho would be an ideal replacement..

I want Sancho at UTD, he's an absolute game changer but there's just a feeling of its too good to be true. With our current negotiating skills it would take forever for Woodward to sort this deal.

The purist in me says he'll wanna come to us, but the realism is we are not that big a draw for elite talent these days. We are struggling to finish in the top 4, yet alone challenging for league titles and the cups.

I can see Barca going for him, the way they throw money around it won't matter if they need him or not.

Barca are broke, Real spent an absolute fortune last summer and are still imbedding their new signings. Chelsea are our main concern I would say. Unless Liverpool sell Salah but I don’t see why they would. PSG might throw a spanner in the works too but hopefully his ambition outmatches that silly club. An English club would make most sense for him. Not saying we’re guaranteed to get him, far from it. Still think Chelsea is his likely destination.

He's made for Liverpool and Klopp. Reckon they'll swoop in last minute with a totally acceptable offer after we piss around over £5m for a month.

Poch, Grealish, Sancho.

Nice dream.
Real question. If we did sign both, where would they play? Remember that we already have Bruno too. Would Rashford play as a striker, allowing Grealish to play on the left?

Could he be going back to City as Sane goes to Bayern? Never thought he would whilst Pep is still there but there's a growing feeling Pep might swan off to Italy or back to Spain in the summer.

Don't get your hopes up lads, it's not happening. Sancho can have his pick of teams, he isn't coming to a team that will likely finish 7th or 8th in the league.

It's been reported that he's open to a move to United by Ornstein and afew other well respected Journos.
Guess laying down the foundation for with him and his team last summer could pay dividend, although I feel we won't have a free run even though Chelsea have seemingly dropped out.

Unlikely with how well Mahrez is doing.

Why would he go to Pool / City and be a backup to Salah / Mahrez / B. Silva? Maybe you can argue he can play himself into the City lineup but I don't think he'll be replacing either Salah / Mane for Pool.
City could easily make room for him. Sane looks likely to leave in the summer and they can move Bernardo centrally to replace David Silva.

Mahrez has largely been a rotation player anyway.

I think they have other areas they will be more concerned with anyway and while they have spent a lot of money they don't tend to spend huge money on one player.

Not sure he'd want to live in Spain tbh. He seems as "English" as they come, Germans speak good English and live a lot more English than the Spanish do.

Think he's always wanted to be back in the premier league anyway, he just used Dortmund as a stepping stone.

Marking them. I don't think anyone outside of us and City are willing to pay the transfer fee/agents fees/wages
Real pretty much paid that for Hazard last Summer and Barca have done it on three players in the last three years so why wouldn't they for the best, available young talent in Europe?

Definitely just pushing this out because of the Ziyech knews.

He's the sort of player you blow your budget for. We made the mistake of not getting Hazard under Fergie, we cannot miss out on Sancho.
I agree but Hazard chose Chelsea over us even though we had just won the PL. Did they offer more money in wages? He was a free agent wasn’t he?

Because they've paid that much for the best available talent already. I'm pretty sure that Real are getting the war chest ready to go for Mbappé soon; Barca are more likely to sign a number 9, seeing as Suárez suffered a serious injury and Messi also wants Neymar back.

Pogba might actually be interested in staying if someone like Sancho came as well.
Nah. His mind is up. We have a bigger chance in keeping Pogba if we bring in a manager actually trust instead

Well, it looks quite likely that we'll go for both Sancho & Poch this summer? It definitely improves our chances of getting Sancho in the first place.

Pep & Klopp are too tactically advanced to use a winger like Sancho on the right - if he's coming he's playing on the left for them. They both like inverted forwards because it balances their attack aswell as their ability to press aswell as the full backs to constantly mkae overlapping runs in terms of Liverpool or the Attacking midfielders like De bryune in terms of City.

Only pochettino is using him on the right.

If he goes to City then Sterling is changing position, if he goes to Liverpool then Mane is sold.

I don't think abrahmovic is interested in Chelsea anymore to spend £100 mil on a player otherwise Sancho would fit them perfectly.

He could be sold on a Poch project or someone else as manager if there's no other bids and he wants to return to England.

Still it's a long way off. He might choose to stay if we're the only club who offer a fee Dortmund will accept if we're still in a mess or no CL. He could have a very good CL and league finish and could be tempting for some other clubs to find the money even if they have to borrow from the bank.

Maybe even some scenario where Dortmund will aim high first but won't price him out of a move, if there's 3-4 clubs offering 90-100m and just United offering 120m they might let him choose for a decent fee and various add-ons.

What the hell even is this statement? Just because you use an inverted winger/forward doesn't make you tactically advanced - is Nuno not tactically advanced for playing Traore there then?
