I didn't think EUFA had it in them to pull this off.

I'm genuinely shocked.

Then again, what are the odds of City appealing the decision and getting it overturned, or at worst seeing the punishment reduced?
One season will do. If we can qualify. Plus Pep might abandon them without CL.
Although Liverpool might sadly prosper on it more if they win the league next season too.
Since I suspect Pep will go.

This is great news for Liverpool and Klopp.
Players at City are gonna want to leave. Players won't want to come in for Pep's rebuild. Even Pep might leave.

Liverpool can now really consolidate themselves at the top.

Wow, any chance that gets reduced via an appeal.

Good news. So the feckers can just focus on the League, until that annoying guy move out from Liverpool.
If the ban stays, I don’t think most of their players will want to stay. This decision has ramifications on their ability to compete for the next 2 years.

Too good to be true.
I think they'll take it to Cas like us(Milan) and "solve" this somehow.

Possibly, but of course deserting City in their time of need wouldn't look good on his CV.

I still fancy City to get the decision overturned in any case.

Wait Wait WAIT! Does this mean 5th place will now get a Champions League spot? This is could potentially be a season changer for us.

Saying that, I'm already imagining scenarios in my head where we still don't get 5th and getting worked up thinking about it

Fantastic news.

Skeptical about 5th being CL spot though. City will definitely appeal and might end up beind allowd to play next season until its done or some other BS like that.

They'll challenge it and get a 10 home games without crowd and a few millions to pay

Yes. If the ban holds up.

Here's a question. Assuming City finish 2nd does that mean that 5th place becomes a CL spot?

Milan‘s Europa League spot was given to Torino after their ban.
