City have offered nothing in attack. They are paceless and clearly miss KdB. I will class this as a real feck up if we don’t win.

Bringing Bruno in has given everyone such a huge lift. What's exciting is that it should lead to better performances from the players around him. I can't wait to see Rashford back with Bruno setting up chances for him. It's probably the most excited I've been about a player that we've signed for a long time.

We've been the better team and had more attacks so far. What more do you want
It's pathetic isn't it mate? Some of the fans on here just want to moan. City have had one shot, we have had seven, four on target. Should've had a penalty. Winning tackles all over the pitch.

Seriously baffled why people here moan so much.

VAR says insufficient contact to go down. fecking cnuts are making excuses to cover for a shocking decision.
such bollocks... contact is fecking contact. what next: he didn't handball it enough? he didn't break someone's leg? do they know the fecking rules?

City have the possession stat in their favor but we’ve been the more effective side. Great stuff... more of the same please.
Effective is an understatement. Its almost as if OGS has figured them out for the 2nd or 3rd match on the trot now.

I've never seen a citeh side so flustered or out of wack. Injuries to their backline obviously help us, but we have our best two players OUT. They should be walking through us, yet we got better and better as the half progressed.

Michael Owen on my stream saying Fred played for it, it's slight contact and probably not a penalty. fecking thick piece of shit.

Fred really doesn't go down in as a theatrical manner as they Richard's is suggesting there. He goes down like a guy who was just kicked in the leg he was about to use to run...

Exactly. What about the yellow card? Are they saying it’s a dive despite having his shin swiped?

Half time pundits are poor. Ok the Bruno foul was soft but he’s come from the back of him and caught him. Soft but is a foul.

How Richards can sit there and say Fred is theatrical. He got kicked in the shin. Blatant penalty. VAR can be so strange at time.

The yellow card was given quickly before VAR had a look.
If VAR had ruled it a penalty (and rightly so), that would mean overruling the ref, which is a big no no. Refs stick together, you know.
    Politics I tell ya.
This. Referees who get overruled by VAR receive bad grades and as a result can lose bonuses too. I am not inventing it, a french ref said it on a radio station

Today during the half time break, I learned that you're allowed to kick through the back of people during derbies

We have no fecking clue how to play 352 and yet we come up with it in one of the most important games of this season. Expect us to be toyed around because none of our defenders along with the manager know how to operate in such formation. Mark my words.
I think it was the best formation and we seem to be containing City and creating a few chances ourselves. Rather be pragmatic about our approach and it's working so far.

Hilarious watching Roy Keane stone-faced while everyone's laughing at a quip.

Ryan Giggs agrees. Two of the dullest and thickest half time pundits I've ever had to listen to...

The half started tough, but we got better as the game went on. At this point I don't think anyone can say our lead is undeserved. Outside of a couple of Maguire and Fred moments early we've defended okay. Wan Bissaka is even showing his clearly developed attacking game.

And the goal. What can we say about Fernandes' impact so far? Great ball and vision to spot the run of Martial! Great finish by Martial too. Very nice goal that caught City by surprise I'd imagine. I was raging at Martial before that for not squaring the ball to Fernandes and talking a crap shot on himself.

We simply have to win from this position. Best chance we've had at home to them for far too long.

Absolutely shitting it now, huge second half.

Someone’s been instructing james from sidelines , who is it ole or his assistant ? Heard saying to Maguire, pass to DJ when he was crowded out, James was well open. Also heard saying behind the ball dj

Did Fred get the handball yellow rescinded? Now needs a ‘dive’ one taken away too.
Dean and Marriner should never be involved in the top flight again.

Matic has been great. Maguire and Lindelof are terrible together, Maguire looked much better without Lindelof.

For 31% possession, we have 7 shots, 3 on target. City have 1 shot to show for 69% possession. How on earth can anyone not like that? We have made foolishness of City's passing game.
Absolutely. Fantastic half. Ole and the lads spot on again with tactics. We should be further ahead.

can you imagine if we had a Ruud of RvP up front to latch on to his passes?

I guess that's why I am home..as a "studio-analyst"...for me, if this was not a penalty then I just don't know anymore...what is the purpose of the VAR again?!

Mahrez is going to play wide, it will actually facilitate our defending normally. But we don't know what Pep will do now.
They are currently only going down the left because there is no pace on the right. Once mahrez comes on they will dfintely score because of how fast they move the ball. Im actually very surprised he didn't start.

Their "passing" game has consisted of recylcing the ball around 5 players who are stood next to their 3 defenders near the halfway line.

Then one of them pings a long ball to aguero in the hopes of catching us out.

    Its not been vintage citeh.

Now we need to tell the players to look up for Bruno. He will give others opportunities to score, look up, and we will score more against City!
