13 penalties in the league this season. Equals the record set by Leicester in 15-16, apparently.

If we sign Sancho.....it will be Rashford on the bench at this rate....

Still need to rest Matic, he's form is falling fast. Get Fred in and give him some rest.

Incredible again from Mason. I’ve said it for a while, he could start at no 9 next season at this rate, rotating with Martial rather than Sancho

In fairness, the shot that hit the outside of the post would never have gone in, De Geas glove was there to block the shot

If Greenwood keeps his head, we'll have a bonafide superstar. Kid was made to score goals. I hate using this word but the kid is so fecking awesome:drool:

I mean that's the most logical choice in the first place. Greenwood and Martial are by far the better technical talents.

Whenever he is near the penalty box, it looks like a certain. When he is 21 or 22, he is a world beater. Looks every bit special like Ronaldo and finish like RVP. Sancho can stay in Germany, he is the real deal. Man Utd XI.

Greenwood is something else. He's going to be world class. Future Ballon d'Or winner

    Kid is special.

Can tell how much because I was disappointed in his earlier miss. You just always expect him to score. He gets unreal power on his shots.

    Greenwood is unbelievably dangerous

We should literally build our play around him. Get him a chance within 25 yards and he'll probably score

We've been so dire of quality that we forgot great players bail out their team due to their greatness. We cannot play every game like last 3 games and we need players to step up with moments of quality like today. That's what differentiates ordinary team from great teams.

What a good goal by Mason! Lovely to see that Martial slide tackled and won the ball back to create that chance. Kudos to him as well - lot's of critics in the past of him not defending from the front...

Scoring more than Ronaldo at this stage.
Having Greenwood is just an unfair advantage.
We will never lose when he plays.
He is now officially my fav player. Going all in, jersey, duvet, Key rind and all!

Greenwood looking like he'll be amongst the world's best in a couple of years max.

Glad we've got that comfort zone now, got a feeling this second half will be taylor made for James as well.
would be great. Dan needs some confidence. hope he gets on and does well

My notes from the first half:

    . Never a pen.
. We are very lethargic, bar a few sparks, it who cares
. Greenwood’s goal was brilliant, sensational power.
. Grealish needs a bigger kit, his shorts and shirt are sized LB. very off putting!

    What a player Mason is.

Been the poorest we’ve played in a while but we’re 2-0 up so who cares?

I think it's obvious many of our players are tired at the moment, so I'm delighted with the fact we're 2-0 up.

Most natural finisher I’ve seen. It’s getting insane now.

just keep our calm about in the second half and this should be an easy victory.

Delighted to be 2-0 ahead at half time, First 25 mins Villa were maybe the better side, they certainly had the better chances with trezeguet and Grealish going close. The penalty settled United down though, a silly foul and surprised Jon Moss gave it as he rarely gives United anything. Perfect way to end the half and what a talent Greenwood is.
