And he has them. Very good players.

He now needs to COACH them, and manage their fitness.
The only good players he has is the starting lineup. He has managed them well and hence we've been on a good unbeaten run. He isn't the cure to cancer.

Do you own a TV ? Have you watched our games and how well we’ve played and attacking we’ve been.

We’ve been outstanding since the restart in particular.

Give it a rest. It’s one loss in 20 and the league position is more important.
I own a TV, i asked a question, explain me Ole brand of football. Really simple really, called a debate and i would like to see the reaction of everyone who claims they know. So easy to say we have been outstanding. I dont think operationally, i think strategically and thats what i do for a living. So again, explain me your view of this brand? Dont give me childish responses.

The screwjob will be complete during the midweek games when Liverpool "capitulates" to Chelsea's newfound "momentum and formation" while United have to struggle against probably another hatchet job in an even earlier kick off against West Ham. So friggin frustrating.
it’s not likely that Chelsea and Leicester City will both win their last two matches. If we do our job, which requires we beat West Ham and Leicester City, we’re in. And thats literally all that matters now, making it back to the CL.

The EL gives us a second route to reach the Holy Land.

I dont blame him for rotating, I blame him for the players he selected. Why start with James if youre going to play with 2 strikers? We have Ighalo for that, why use Bruno as a false 9? Why changing for a back 5 when we have played with a back 4 all along?

We tried something different and he feck up, thats the truth.
Though we were in a different situation the last 3 times we played, and beat them, i do believe we set up the same way as today. One might argue that was wrong, but i can understand why he’d go for that set up.
Ole wouldn’t be in a job. Fact.
    Think he meant last summer.
As i said to the other person, i am entitled to my own opinion. Ole rested 4 first team players in this game. Chelsea are in the same boat too with tiredness. Why dont you review how teams play and how we play, we have no style, we are slow, we ball watch, dont chase down players.
So, the 2 extra days of rest since last game meant nothing today you mean?

Ole is an idiot for not resting him. He's really shown himself up today.
Bruno does look tired, but plenty of people on the Caf have been demanding that we play the same selection, can't use the bench because they're all rubbish, players should be able to play this number of games, etc, etc. Of all our players Bruno and Shaw have looked most able to cope with the fixture congestion, plus maybe Martial who plays more in bursts. I would have liked to have seen Bruno rested, we were still winning game before he arrived with Fred and McTominay in midfield, but those two are now being called "not good enough". So Ole will lose here either way.

Ole made some calls today that didn't work for him, and De Gea's bad day wasn't in his plan, but for all he's saying treat each game in isolation, I'm sure he has an eye on the two league matches and the EL. Chelsea looked up for this competition more today.
We've not reached the stage yet where we can still win by adjusting our game to the players we've got when we don't play the selection that's worked at Sheffield, Bournemouth and Villa. We've beaten City three time but were outclassed by them in the Carabao Cup. Part of the work needed for next season.

19 unbeaten, beating Chelsea 4 times in one season was a big ask with less rest. Our new unbeaten run starts with Westham.

Igahlo was a strange one too.

He looked so sharp before the break. Still looks great and makes the right runs, holds up the ball well.

OGS needs to trust his squad a bit more.
Forget trusting. This is pure stupidness, when you know you have two games in quick successive and playing players that are needed badly. Why did Bruno play the full 90 minutes is even more dumb then ever.

Chelsea definitely have better second string players than us, this much is clear.
Yes and we need to reflect on that and do something about for next season

The FA cup though I’d love to win it, is not our number one priority. We need to qualify for the UCL
Get 3 quality players in. I think Henderson should be considered for number 1 now. As much as I like DDG, he looks as though his head is elsewhere. A ruthless coach would drop him after this and Ole needs to show some balls

We've played Chelsea away, City away, City at home, Spurs away.
    City and Chelsea btw.
feck off. We have a great big game record. We beat Chelsea 3 times this season. It literally never happens that a team wins 4/4 between 2 big teams. They were due a result against us.
I was talking after lockdown. We rescued a draw at Tottenham and what else? . All this unbeaten stuff needs to be put into context, we haven't even moved up in the table yet

We'll they're as daft as Ole then.

Play out from the back. Counter attacking. Wing play.

Now you will say that's too general. It's EVIDENT he allows his players to express themselves without implementing strict tactics on them. For this to succeed he needs good players.
Even during our great run, are you convinced by us playing out from the back? We look bad. Secondly, since restart we have not played counter attack football, we actually played possession football and started to zip around better. Then all of a sudden, last three games we reverted back to counter attack. Ole does this and that and that and this. No style.

It was either go all out for it or completely rest players for the league, he got caught between two stools and it failed. DDG definitely did not help matters.
Spot on. I think he saw Arsenal winning yesterday and decided to beef up the XI thinking there was a good chance of winning the cup.

Why does after lockdown matter? The run started before. Our big game record has been exceptional.

Well hopefully the team is angry at being shafted with the ridiculous match scheduling and refereeing

Not denying that at all. Chelsea were by far the better team and deserve the win and he does deserve the praise. But it's very over-the-top with the way that the BBC do it. They do it with anything related to an English player or English manager.
It is an English Channel mate. After years of foreign coach domination which looks likely to continue, the media should be allowed to sing the praises of an English coach.
However I’m not convinced that Lampard is the next greatest thing.i know he’s learning but he’s been very fortunate to have been given a club with Chelsea’s riches

I am not dismissing that, and i admit I overlooked it. However, you cannot keep using that as a sole reason. There will be many times in football where we have less rest. We did it all season with three days breaks against teams that have 7. It is just football and if you want to be a top team, you need to accept it.

Maguire looked knackered today, matic AWB rashford too. .. I like Brandon Williams but with him being right footed he is always playing backwards and inside and we lack balance on the left.

I think today shows we need another centre back , another mobile midfielder and another player who can make something happen and move forward with the ball.

Nope. League fecked us again, we play Wednesday. Which will be us on 2 days rest and our opponent on 4 days rest again. But according to Fat Frank and The Bitter One we get all the decisions and are lucky.

Hard to argue with most of that , we have improved as the season has gone one but we are also very overrated right now and still a long way off having a squad that can compete at the top.

Would really worry that Leicester will turn us over next Sunday.
Yes a big part of the problem is Fernandes looks a little tired and his form has subsequently dropped but without him we just cant unlock defences unless its on the break. Hard for Ole as a lot of people saying he needs a rest, but there are few games left in the season and they are all crucial.

I am not worried about Leicester at the moment, we still have to beat West Ham and they are high on confidence at the moment and the thought of Lindelof against Antonio in th ebox is concerning.

I think Leicester are decimated watching them today. Lost all there creativity from the full backs and Maddison being injured and the centre back injured also weakened them considerably.

I just hope we go there after West Ham not needing to get a victory though

feck off. Ole has done brilliantly this season, and I love the football that have been played, brilliant attacking football.
Ehh. We were complete shit for the entire middle of the season. Matchweek 25 we were in 7th place with 9 wins. While I'm not one of those clamoring for his sacking, it's wildly revisionist to say he's done brilliantly. We were woeful for half of this season. If it wasn't because Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have also been dire, we'd be nowhere near 4th place. If we win the last two games, we'll finish at 68 points. We've never made the top 4 with that kind of point tally. A few years ago, 69 points got us 6th place and we trailed six points behind 5th. If we don't win the next two games, it'll be the lowest number of league wins we've had in a season since 1991.

We always start shite, it's been a problem for ages.
Usually they get back into though. In those cases we have our best team out and they get us back into the game and ahead. We didn't have our best team out. It usually goes off the boil again when he brings the subs on.

Ugly display. De Gea wears a decent amount of the blame, but even if we had a strong performance in net, with the chances we allowed, I don't feel we would have won. Scheduling sucked, along with the first half reffing. Hopefully Bailly is going to be okay, and we bounce back on Wednesday to stomp West Ham.

Yeah but welcome to the PL circa 2020.

There’s been a palpable drop in quality this year. Liverpool have hardly been that great but they’ve been helped by everyone bar City being mid table mediocrity
