That’s about the 10th time I’ve watched Sancho play and I have yet to see him have a decent game. Predictable and repetitive, not particularly quick and totally ineffective today against a bog standard Iceland defence. We have Greenwood for RW, we don’t need to pay 120m for a back up.
Majority players nowdays aren't worth the value. We have Greenwood and that's why we are hesitate to pull the trigger. End of the day the value of 120m euro is part of investment of young player with great potential that can contribute to the team for 10 years or plus.

Ole wants a competition means quality to compete not just mere of backup. Can we find someone else available with level to compete with Rashford & Greenwood level?

I'm more surprised how you can find 10 of those games in his 20 goals & 20 assists last season with Dortmund.

It was an average performance against a very low block but he created one of the best chances of the match.

There is nothing wrong with calling the performance average.

Ah, to be a jobless thirty year old again, waking up at 3 pm with a bag of chips and a coca cola as breakfast whilst refreshing the ‘big transfer saga thread of the year X’ on the caf for the rest of the day in camping gear. Threw quite a few imaginary Chanel bags around in these heartwarming catfights too.
 what a life, mate.

Does anyone know how Sancho has performed for England to date? It'd be interesting to know how he adapts outside of Dortmund's system.

Can't be getting him next year, even if it's Carragher just guessing here. You just know we will face stiff competition if we don't buy him this summer.

Jadon Sancho is a must.
We have been crying out for a talented right winger for over a decade now. This young man is absolutely nailed on perfection for what we need as a club. It is a ton of cash they are asking but my gosh, they will make it back easily within a couple of years.

The Manchester United I have always loved played fast attacking football with two electric wingers, and two very accomplished fullbacks overlapping, It turned defences on their backsides as they never knew which side it was coming from. For a long time now it has been far too predictable, all our play comes from the left because that's where all of our best players are.
Nothing came from the middle or the right which made us predictable to other teams, hell I can't recently remember seeing many United players carry the ball and take players on!.

Bringing in Bruno was massive, now we can attack through the middle too with success. I hope Donny van De Beek can also add to this. Imagine if we can be as effective on the right too.
We can dream. Ed get it done please. He wants to be here and we want players that want to be here. The best of the best of the best

I think this is our only chance to get him. Spend the money or miss out next summer?

Pay up Manchester United. It's like having an 11 piece jigsaw you want to frame and show off but one piece is missing. It's infuriating as fans.

Ed if you buy him I promise I will buy 4 Sancho 7 shirts for my kids

and 1 for me of course. I don't even like this years home kit but I'll buy them if I can have Sancho 7 on the back

Carragher basically tells Woodward to get it done here.

Carraghers chatting shit, Liverpool didn't have any money last summer, don't have any this summer and won't have any next summer unless they sell first

Guys I tell u the truth. Im from Germany and have watched most of the matches of Dortmund.

In his 1st Season Sancho was so immense , I thought he was another De bruyne. He took Defenders for Fun and nutmegged so many players and showed so Many Skills. He was easily a 100m+ player

The Second Season was good statistics wise but his performance were not good at all. He can't take Defenders that easily anymore , surprisely he lost speed and is distracted by his hobbies( Every 3rd day Hair Cut for example). He was in the Bench quite often at Dortmund.

We don't know if it's an Coaching Error or his real Potential. Stay absolutely away when the Price is 100M

Like Merson, they are all ABU people, we hurt them a LOT over the last few decades, ruined careers even. They will always trash talk Manchester Utd business decisions and criticise our game.

They have to be stocking up some money surely. They're being successful and have a good following, haven't spent a lot recently. They managed to break records to sign VVD and I wouldn't be surprised if they cash in on an older Mane or Salah eventually.

Messi?

Or.... maybe they are watching their fierce rivals carefully (us) as we rebuild and thinking we need to do that too. We have a winning team so we will wait a couple years and save our funds so we can rise up and do a Chelsea................

The result of hyping up a player is people expect to see a superman on the pitch when they first watch him, and inevitably get disappointed when it doesn't happen. That's what happened to Mbappe in the CL, and will no doubt happen to Sancho with this much hype.

Sancho is a very good young player and that's it, he's not a world beater yet. Unfortunately if we buy him for 120M, the pricetag will mean that he will have to become a world beater for us quickly or else...

They only managed to sign VVD because they sold Coutinho, every big money Liverpool signing is funded by a big sale

Carrol bought with the Torres money
Shit ton of crap players signed with the Suarez money
VVD and Allison signed with the Coutinho money

Not sure how long is left on their contracts but both Salah and Mane will be 29 next summer so they could still get big money for one of them to fund a move for Sancho but I'm not convinced that'll happen

I wouldn't be surprised that Herr Klopp has instructed his bum chums at Dortmund to do all they can to stall and obstruct our efforts to sign Sancho this season.. I've a feeling Mane or Salah will leave next season meaning Herr Klopp will have the funds to buy him at a reduced mates rates to what we've been quoted..:mad:

If he has a good season at Dortmund next year what with COVID being under control etc he will probably be sold for 160m
This is something that people are missing hindsight. Sancho being more expensive next year with the normalcy of the globalised economy is more realistic than him being cheaper.

I really want him as I can see his crazy potential but anytime I’ve seen him play a full match recently he’s only been alright which is mad enough for 120. he’s been in pretty average form since the lockdown but his numbers are still crazy good.

If they’re struggling to buy Thiago at 30’mill then are they really in a position to spend 100 mill

Liverpool can afford him next summer. Essentially they would need to sell either Salah or Mane next summer. Both of those would still fetch a price close to £100m but I would imagine next summer would be the last time either of them two would fetch a fee like that. If you offered liverpool a chance to swap Sancho for Salah (more so) or Mane next summer, I'm sure they would take it. Both Salah and Mane would be hitting 30 soon after.

So ultimately Liverpool might not need to spend anything net wise to get Sancho.

Big reason why I think the club will eventually acquiesce and give in to Dortmunds demands so that it gets done this summer like with Maguire last year even if it means more subdued transfer budgets in the short term future.

I feel like the fact that we won't get a free run at him next summer like we do this year and the prospect of having him land into the arms of one of our direct rivals and haunting us for the next 5-10 years potentially will be enough to bend the knee this summer and swallow the expensive pill. Must say that this particular pill will be a lot more beneficial and profitable down the line than any of our more expensive bets over the post Fergie years

He set up Rice who fluffed his chance. No player looked good in that England team tonight. Typical England performance I just dont know why they play so bad.

They are so uninteresting to watch

From a negotiating point of view, it would be best to clear up our other targets this window before showing our willingness to spend a pre-Covid sum on our top target.

I wonder if this isn't more sewn up than either club are letting on?

They may look to cash in on an ageing Salah or Mane. I could see R Madrid being interested in both of them.

Imagine Liverpool signing him because Ed dithers too much
That would be criminal. I don’t think Utd fans would forgive or forget him for that one.

He most certainly would need get extra security at his house 24/7 if that happened.

Nope. I’m saying he was terrible today for a player supposedly worth £100+m.
Such players shouldn’t have this bottom level of performance. Ditto Mbappe.
 every player in history have had anonymous performances. This is hilariously daft.

I don’t understand why people are slating Sancho today. Every time he got the ball in that first half he looked a threat. His touch and movement were eye catching.

What a player he is going to be (for us).
