I'm not too sure why people keep asking these journo's the same question. Clearly there is nothing new. If there were, they would reveal it on their own social media.

Only new bit of infor on Sancho was by McGary and Castle's yesterday about the bonuses.
Doesn't really matter what they ask because these journos are saying the same thing as the German press.. pay up or no deal. Castles the only one who offered some new insight, though not sure if he is just guessing.

In fairness though, there's been more than a handful of players that put in incredible numbers in Germany only to come to England and not replicate it. Greenwood has had a phenomenal season for an 18 year old, scoring goals against PL teams and in the Europa. Not saying Sancho isn't the real deal but Greenwood is a ridiculous talent also.
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to degrade Greenwood and his talent with my comment. I just think that if we valued Greenwood at 100m (not unreasonable), Sancho is easily more valuable.

I agree.. I would price Rashford and Martial in the range of 80-100 million (if they were hell bent on leaving). And Sancho has better output than them (though in a more attacking team so I am expecting that to drop when he joins us) and is younger. So 120 million is absolutely a fair price
Agreed.

If you think Greenwood is worth 100 million, Sancho is a bargain at 108 million.
I'm fairly confident that Mason will go on to be the better player of the two to be honest. Sancho is 2 years ahead of him so is better right now though.

Be nice to have them both though for sure.

Sancho is 18 months older, not quite 2 years.

Greenwood isn't in his natural position yet either.

People wanting the club to cough up 120 millions and whatever agent's fee for Sancho are mad. This is the problem with the Caf and overrating players we are linked to. Sancho is a good player with potential to being great if not world class but in no way is he worth those stupid numbers Dortmund are quoting and if they aren't willing to put in a reasonable price then we should look elsewhere.

Also bringing up Bundesliga numbers to hype players shouldn't be allowed. Bundesliga produce some of the most misleading numbers which never add up to player's actual level. Seen all of Miki etc have ridiculous numbers in the Bundesliga to then utterly fail elsewhere.

Also after watching both England games, Sancho is clearly overrated on these boards. This place has somehow convinced itself that he is world class, generational talent and all the over used words the Caf love throwing around for any existing talent out there. Kid is good with loads to prove and improve, but he isn't 120 million worth, that's just absurd and I command the club for not splashing such ridiculous amount on him. After seeing all these 100+ millions transfers bomb recently, no club should be dumb enough to easily splash that amount.

Dortmund themselves have already fleeced another club(Barca) charging them 100+ for a player who ended up turning into an utter disaster. People ought to learn from history, not ignore it.

If no reasonable price then we move on and we should probably do that by now given the season is about to start and we should be finding a top guy to play on our RW.
I agree with all of this. It would be much better to spend 120 million on 3-4 players rather than Sancho.

He went by the name of Wayne Rooney
Pogba transfer saga was so much better than this. Him going around the US doing interviews, a hot Real Madrid supporting TV presenter constantly tweeting about him, Raiola with his comments, Juventuz forum and it's mad (and funny) fans, and I am sure there were a lot more things that I am forgetting which happened in that saga which got the Muppet juices flowing. This thread is just plain boring.

I don't know how or why you've come to that assertion as buying superstars (potential or otherwise) is resoundingly more precarious in years where there are majors than when there aren't. Sancho could easily be worth a lot more by next summer's window than he is now with more teams contesting for his signature as opposed to the seemingly clear run of it we have now.

Part of Dortmund's thinking should well be letting their golden egg hatch and if not further consolidate what he is to this point in time, build upon it and become another tier of player entirely, which obviously takes him up a bracket in wage and transfer fee.

If Dortmund believe he is the real deal and a certain superstar of this generation, it makes sense for them to hold onto him until after the Euros unless they are in financial dire straits and have to expedite the sale, which doesn't look to be the case.
And one Hector Moreno tackle away from possibly not getting a penny for him.

This saga is definitely missing a German Massimo Di Culo

I remember how quite a few people here didn't bother put Massimo Di Culo into google translate and were actually believing that there was an ITK with that name. Translates as 'huge arse'. Well played by the Juventuz forum.

My sources tell me him and Thiago have both bought houses in Liverpool, so I’m guessing they’ll be lining up next to an extatic Klopp within the week.
Try to make it believable at least. As if any footballer signing for Liverpool willingly lives in Liverpool. ;)

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
They won’t make a statement, but they understand PR. If we’re done for the summer then there would be a heavy PR bombardment, through a journalist brief. Zero chance we’re simply done for the summer, it doesn’t work like that. The silence is deafening, we’re working on something for sure but it doesn’t mean it’ll happen.
Think of it this way though. The silence is deafening but there's no uproar, no fan unrest. It feels genuinely quiet all around at the moment now. If they brief that they're done for the summer then that lights a fire under us all. They keep quiet and we'll just roll into next season and everyone will be distracted by the football again. The season start well before the end of the window so this is even better for the club, the transfer window will just fade into the background. Every summer there is unrest till the season starts and they've probably recognised this and don't want to rock the boat.

He said this 2 months ago. The most important agreement needs to be with club and that still ain't happening. Dortmund are not trying to be Leverkusen because I'm guessing Sancho hasn't told them he wants or needs to leave like Havertz did.

It's pretty clear Dortmund is willing to sell and has set a price and won't move. The only reason this is not done is that United is not willing to match it.

Well if he is ‘buzzing’, then he should be agitating for the move he wants soon. Reading that tweet tells me his head is already in Manchester and Old Trafford

Fabrizio strongly going against "agent fees" angle, if it doesn't work out we won't know what was the stumbling block either way

Have you not read the reports from Arsch Großer in the kicker this morning?

English journos are on the other hand saying it’s the wages and agent fees that are the issues and that there is no problem with the agreement with BVB

Who knows who’s right

Great! Let’s buy Dwight McNeil for 60m! He’s a proven PL up and comer with 2 goals and 6 assists in 42 appearances!

The argument that every player from the Bundesliga (or Portugal, or Holland, or [fill in league here]) is so lazy, so lame, and completely horseshit. There are too many examples of both successful signings and also flops.

Almost 1000 pages into this thread and someone posts this shite based on watching Sancho for England twice.

Absolutely, even lazier when it involves a player that's grown up around the English game

The Bruno thread was filled with those sort of takes
