So the 17 games last season are the only games he missed in the past three seasons and he was injury free for 17/18 and 18/19?
He also missed games 2 games during the 18/19 season. In 6 years Shaw missed a total of 105 games. That's quite a lot

This is completely dead and has been for weeks. I think United like the hype because people aren’t questioning the lack of money being spent.

No fecking chance it takes 7 weeks of negotiating to be at this stage not even an official bid made for the player. We‘re going for the ‘oh well we tried’ approach.

We have 6 recognized centre backs and no proper right wingers so what do you think?
We may well have 6 centre backs that we’ve paid millions for but I wouldn’t rate any of them as top class would you ?

It's unlikely to be dead when United briefed every journalist possible a few days ago that there was a breakthrough.

Could you imagine if we were actually a well run football club, like we are a business and signed players in an efficient manner and challenged again for the top honours?

The caf would certainly be far less entertaining, so at least we have that crumb of comfort.

Just because her tits are fake doesn't mean people don't want to see it.
See what? I could show you 1000 different posts making up rubbish also.

you post that like his opinion means anything? He never worked for united, he hasn’t got inside information and he’s never got anything right. Just because you want to believe fakery that’s your choice - don’t share it with us.

It’s took them over a month to finally agree a fee with the agent? We’ll need about 3 years to get a 120m bid ready for Dortmund. It’s all bollocks to distract from the negativity of spending the cash.

What as a crock on the same level as Shaw? What about Pogba who is the biggest crock of all.
Well considering Shaw has missed double the amount of days as Martial....

As for Pogba I think he gets more than enough stick on here.

If this negotiation lark is that easy why don't you give it a go?

Literally everyone involved in football says that transfers are very difficult to pull off, especially huge one's. Why don't you just relax and have some patience. There's 4 weeks until the window shuts yet, loads of time. People are acting like it's shutting this weekend.

Not sure how reliable Luke Gardener is mind, not really up to date on all that tier rubbish
Bale is the goto option for journos when they're lacking transfer news relating to United. We've been after him for a decade if they are to be believed.

You’d think, given that United have made big signings at the end of the window several times over the years, that people would have worked this out by now.

Do you seriously think the names you mentioned are better the players we have at United playing second fiddle? They stood out occasionally playing for inferior teams.

Lingard, Pereira, Jones (when fit) Mata, James, Rojo, are full internationals. They might not be what you'd expect with clubs of United's ambitions. However, to compare them to the players you mentioned is a massive stretch. I am positive they would outshine Brooks, and Pukki if they played for similar teams.
Good post, just swapping squad players for squad players at huge expense.

The reality is this summer there will be a massive decrease in Numbers of transfers across Europe. Wholesale changes just won’t be possible.

We can’t get rid of these squad players, it would be a challenge in a normal summer, but now very very difficult.

There’s a rare chance we’d spend 120m on a player even without a pandemic, I honestly can’t believe people really expect this deal to go through.

This deal isn’t even that difficult, Dortmund are open to selling him and have been all summer. The player reportedly wants to join yet we’ve made zero progress on a deal.

We’ve briefed multiple times about spending in a pandemic, even Ole mentioned it just last week yet people think we’re spunking over 100m on a transfer

Better for the board to be looking active, they may as well let this play out.

So Atletico Madrid can spend over 120 mil. euros on Joao Felix, but Manchester United can not spend 120 mil. eu on Sancho ? Seems legit..

Its proven yet again how incompetent our "transfer team" is, especially the boardroom Chuckle Brothers - Ed Woodward and Matt Judge.

Chelsea already signed 6 quality players and theres rumours of new GK incoming so probably 7. And the mighty Man Utd only 1. Wont be surprised if we dont sign anyone else this window. People at the top of this club are terrible should be sacked each one of them, unfortunately it aint gon happen under our current owners.
Atletico sold Griezmann for €120m before signing Felix for €126m in the same summer. The entire fee was basically subsidised by Griezmann’s departure.

Your last paragraph has been explained so many times; Chelsea not spending anything last season, being bankrolled by an oligarch, having outrageous departure fees (Hazard/Morata/Courtois alone in the past 2 years come up to about 200m); literally everyone else in the league not spending; COVID19 existing; the fact we are actually still in for Sancho...

Maybe wait until the window is actually closed before going full meltdown.

The Bale nonsense is absolute waffle. If he would come on half his wages he would still carry a wage of 300k per week. Does anyone actually think that's a realistic signing?

It's just nonsense to fill the air while we wait for the next bit of Sancho news.

The press are recycling their predetermined United targets list from the Jose era. It wouldn't make any sense value wise after just getting rid of Alexis's wages which were an albatross, nor would it fit with Ole's preferred player profile.

He's got a better chance of landing back with Spurs than coming to United

No way this is happening this summer, I just hope our recruiting department got their eyes on a few good alternatives.
I would not totally be against a loan for Bale for 1 or 2 years in case we are sure Sancho will then be ours.

So you think Utd all this time have been briefing lies and lies over a deal we`ve been working on for a year just to put in a grand show? Do you have any idea what type of backlash they will face from fans in the event after all this ends its discovered we were all taken for a ride? Remember how fans threw flairs at Woodward`s house because of Bruno? They risk repeating something similar plus negative views on social media which affect share prices and they know this if this was well and truly dead in the water we wouldn`t have told the press breakthrough was made on personal terms after saying the opposite for months this would have simply been killed off like Griezmann/Dybala they have no reason to prolong a hoax especially with the window going on when the season is ngoing imagine we lose to Palace and we brief we`ve walked from the deal remember 2014 under LVG when we got off to a shaky start?
As for the deal being too expensive Utd have known the price for months and Woodward always consults the glazers before being given the green light if the higher ups didnt think this was financially viable we wouldn`t be about to approach BVB with a bid so its a myth we cant afford it Ole cant come out in a press conference and say we are rich or we risk having another "We can do things in the market bla bla bla" BS and if you think everything he says at face value is true he said Sanchez will come to prove everyone wrong remember?
As for the deal being difficult which record breaking transfers historically get done early? CR7, Bale, Pogba, Maguire, Mbappe, Neymar, VVD, Coutinho, Dembele etc all happened either late in the window or needed 2 transfer windows to complete this was always going to drag one way or another wishful thinking if you thought this would be a quick deal with BVB historically a team that never sells without a big fight so I suggest you wait till October 5th before jumping into conclusions and needlessly dampening moods based off baseless opinions

Well I rate them all as better centre backs in comparison with the zero right wingers we have.

Right wing is and has been the priority for years now. It’s been ignored for too long.
