Still nothing from John Lewis.
Just got a confirmation text from Argos like 10 minutes ago so ~27.5 hours after ordering. There is still hope for any poor souls wondering if their order went through or not.Argos all over the shop

So are PS5 games on average going to be 10 pounds more expensive than PS4 games were? What the reasoning for that? Graphics are upgraded in every generation.
I did similar. Played killzone, dc online and I think at some point a bit of Warframe but then went mainly back to my ps3 for a fair while until destiny launched in 2014.
Why not make a pretty penny off it on eBay? There'll be plenty of them to go around by the time you can use it.
I'm not as hardcore as you guys. I have had every PS console since their inception and me and my son do enjoy still playing, he plays Fortnite, I like Fifa and RDR2. I will wait

I understand what you're saying, I've been PS since the first one too, I'm just suggesting that you could sell the controller in November for a profit. There will be plenty of controllers available by February 21st.
That 2 hour thing from Argos is just a standard warning on their live chat every time you log in. I'm not surprised the PS5 rush pushed their system beyond the standard 2 hour windowArgos all over the shop
Nothing particularly fancy. I had like a 7 year Panasonic, but last year I picked up a curved Samsung smart TV in a John Lewis sale.

It's gone up in price every generation unfortunately, but it's probably two reasons.
- Sony/MS have probably increased the platform license fee that's baked into a games price to recoup some money from the aggressive price points.
- Development is more expensive, to meet what the new consoles are capable of you need the tooling, technology, and most importantly the skilled people to unlock that.
My missus pre ordered me one from very and got the confirmation email.
I don't know why she did as I hardly get time to play the PS4, and I don't know people are bothering getting them day one, the launch games look terrible and we'll overpriced.

The launch lineup is a lot better than PS4s. Demons Souls (ok not for everyone, but many have been desperate to see this for many years) plus Spiderman on top of third party stuff like FIFA, Cod, Assassin's Creed and the PS4 game Cyberpunk launches on the same day as Ps5. Pretty solid Launch lineup imo.
Sackboy looks good aswell, I'm just not sure I would pay full price. Ratchet and Clank looks amazing and that should come out shortly after launch
I had a quick glance the other day and hadn't seen any of these I guess I only seen the PlayStation exclusive launch games. Thanks for that I used to like assassin's creed so I will look in to that one.
They are third party games which will be on everything. Just check for the exact dates but I'm 99% sure Cod and FIFA both come out on pS5 and Xbox around lunch.
Though if your not fussed and hardly play ps4 there is little harm in waiting to get a PS5 after launch. Consoles hit their stride years after launch. Stock will be short for a few months but after Christmas you will be able to pick one up at any point
Heard rumours there won’t be another batch until next year.

It’s a weird design imo. It looks like a PS3 concept someone made back in 2006 back when everything futuristic had to look spacey and alien style.

I think it'd be better just laying it flat, standing it up is just begging for it to be noticed in a room. It is pretty ugly either way though.

So my liar assessment is correct for the time being. if you bought it on PS4, you should get the free upgrade.
