No value in the market.

To be honest, there is A LOT more money in football than there was in 1999. If you can't afford to spend PL/CL money then you should probably not be in those competitions.

Glad I got that one refunded.

No fight, no passion, no inspiration. Nothing. And what makes it worse is that the squad is so small, there’s no competition for places so it doesn’t matter how they play, they’re pretty much guaranteed a start.

Soul sucking.

Honestly, we should all be happy that this Corona crap goes on and on and on.....maybe if nobody watches our games live, it will be as if nothing happened.

Who knows, in 4 or 5 years, we might win at home vs Palace.

TFM had a few bright moments......that’s about it for positivity and the negatives are too many to count
We can't possibly play him again. Laird has got to be better than that.

He just is a major liability and porous defensively. The only thing he did well was put in a semi-decent cross. Thats the one thing none of our other players seem capable of doing.

Rubbish performance.

Ole doesn't seem to have any real tactical blueprint. Our possession under him has always been lacklustre. The decision to go with Lindelof ahead of Smalling in general is a bemusing one. James as a starter, Mcotominay as a holding midfielder and TFM as a first teaser casts doubt over his judgment.

Scraping top 4 could have been a bad result in hindsight. Finishing outside would put more pressure on Ole and big Ed to do something. Ed's pattern is simple: make Top 4 - no big spending, miss top 4 - spend to get back in. It's that simple.

I honestly don't see a way out. We'll drift into a midtable team with occasional decent finishes for the forseeable future. All of our peers are significantly stronger this season, and we've stood still.

66 points is not a great achievement, especially when so few goals were from open play. Ole has yet to show he knows how to attack a stubborn defence, and we look perpetually vulnerable against teams that counter well.

I'll wait a few more games before i really criticise too much but all this squad talk is bullshit, Palace have a really poor squad it shouldn't be close.

Goal was scored from playing direct. Stopped passing it around like Arsenal and crossed it, boom.

Relegation form , well done Roy you should have won by 4 or 5. Can't be arsed saying much more as nothing will happen with what's already been said about Ed and the board. Mid table side with sub standard players ,last year we got lucky with alot of penalties and we struggled to score from open play, today we got found out by a decent palace team who city or the dippers would have hammered

Might be a bit kneejerk but I think this will be Ole's final season.
With no fans in stadium there isn't that much pressure. Glazers will keep him until he misses CL qualification

I mean it's only one game. Bit early to say we will miss top four.

Given the talent at his disposal can anyone seriously believe that Ole is a PL manager let alone a Utd manager? Buy 10 top players and just let them create and score goals, that's his master tactic. Well feck me, we can all do that!

Dunno why people lose their shit, when around january we will get some player that might light things up and all these performances will be forgotten. Lunatic will come and say if we had that player from the start, those performances wouldnt happen etc. We could actually create our own cycle.

A quick way to utterly demolish any optimism.

There has to be a risk that we're heading towards a Moyes finish here.
I did say in another thread. We look like we have never played together. This coule get ugly really soon.

Simply awful performance. Pogba should be dropped the next game for his performance he was that bad.

Why can’t the entire team move the ball quicker?

Penalty decision and retake are some of the worse decisions I’ve seen in years.

Well done Donny for the goal on his debut.

Utter, utter shite. No idea how OGS thought they looked sharp in training. They played like they'd been drinking lager and eating pies since August.

Horrible performance all around. Starts with Ole. That was a bad team selection which lead to a bad start and the team never found their rhythm. Are AWB and Brandon Williams hurt ? Otherwise I don't understand why Fosu Mensah was on the pitch. And let's not forget Dan James ??

Speechless.
Spineless more like. I wouldn't worry about Sancho. We need centre backs, Lindelof is a pub player, absolutely bullied by any Palace player who was up against him.

The pace of our play is tortoise like at times. You just cannot break teams down at that pace.

Didn’t have a good feeling about today. I felt match sharpness would hurt us today and they just looked off. They started better than us and we just looked jaded the whole game. Granted it’s not an excuse but too many players looked off the boil today. Add to that some terrible defending and we got what we deserved.
Onwards and upwards. I just hope ole gets the bottle to drop Lindof for a few games to try Baily - he’s a bit rash but I’d rather have him complement Maguire than to placeless CBs

Well... that didn't go to plan. Cant say Palace didn't deserve it united were awful. Started how we finished the back end of last season.

Donny looked decent when he came on, probably wishes he could go back to ajax after that. Thats the weekend ruined.

Here
Things that haven't changed:
-Our poor performances
-Dan James starting and being completely ineffectual
-Rashford shooting from about 35 yards and it being nowhere near the goal
-Lindelof and Maguire being done by any sort of pace or trickery
-Chasing a game but lacking any real intensity
-Moss and Atkinson being terrible officials

Side note - How can you be allowed to change your penalty taker for a re-taken penalty?

We’ll probably find ourselves 9-12 points behind the leaders before we hit our stride.

We look like a terribly coached team. Fernandes has got worse the longer he has been here.

If they are going to stick with Ole, then his entire coaching staff needs replacing with highly experienced world class coaches.

This game was bound to lose from kick off. Dea Gea first 10-15 was poor. He doesn't seem confident, miskicking and passing the ball. How team feels confident with such a keeper in goal?!

But but but I thought whenever the caf thinks a line-up sucks we will play great, attacking football with blistering pace?

We were shite, the refs and VAR were even worse but the worst performer today was Ole, absolutely dreadful management. After VDB's goal I really felt we could salvage something from the game but inexplicably he takes off TFM and moves McT to RB. That sub not only made us weaker defensively it severely impacted VDB's ability to run beyond as it meant only Bruno would be in CM and that's exactly how we conceded the third goal.

We were horrible but wit TFM on the pitch, we don't concede that third goal and could have gotten something from the game.

All in all, its clear we didn't look fit today but that aside we were poor and all of our obvious flaws were on show again. Lindelof and Maguire as a partnership needs to end.

The embarrassing thing is that we can't even whinge about that ludicrous handball and retaken pen bit.

Leaving 2 slow centre back high up exposed against the fastest attack in the league was amazing.

People can chat shite about how we need signings and that nonsense, but the fact is, we should be beating Palace with the side we currently have.

Our players were shite today and only have themselves to blame
