I doubt we are the only company in the UK that pays for flights from that airline. It could also be a claim totally made up by that twitter account.

Or Sancho could be on a Megabus from Luton to Carrington right now. Who knows?
Maybe he was already in Manchester when his photographer was Instagramming about Manchester?
Explains why he missed training today!

If the flight was from Dortmund to Manchester, it would have made some sense.. why on earth would the player go to London?

The club do have an office in London. But personal terms are already agreed so if he was flying in he would be heading to Carrington for a medical with the in house doctors.

I remember the good old days in the Pogba thread, even the Manchester airport twitter account was getting involved.

19m per year

Hey, if we pay 91 million over the duration of 500 years then we would only need to pay 190,000 per year! Sweet!
why would 19 mill a year be a problem? Dortmund will easily find a bank that will hand out the full fee based on the downpayment if they want

What's the significance of this plane?
Do we have offices in Luton, because i'm pretty sure that if it was Sancho, he'd be flying to Manchester? I know we have London offices, but i'm still a bit confused here

I believe United still owe over £100m in outstanding transfers and add ons from the last 4 or 5 years of transfer activity and City will get a cut of any Sancho transfer too.

To Englands training ground? Its obviously not true but maybe its due to Covid bubble at Carrington?

If we do sign Dembele, Dortmund get a decent % of the fee, which will no doubt go down well

Any opportunity to have a go at the club right now I guess
Agreed.

I wish fans would do their own research when it came to stories. If not, at least listen to credible people.

The club have done poor in terms of football planning but have spent more than enough for us to be winning titles.

It could be Dortmund officials travelling to our offices. It's very possible

I mean the kid agreed terms with us until 2025 I think. 5 years of his career going in the club who is fallen off a cliff a bit and doesn't guarantee you top titles like before. Now, am sure he was supposed to be handsomely paid for it, but, by all accounts, he shouldn't be short of offers the way his career is going. Still he bought into our project and club's direction as his next step to develop. A pretty big step as those years are pretty much "make or break" for every young player.

Then (by all reports and rumours) he expressed his desire to Dortmund about joining us getting "ill" in the process and "not being happy" about the situation. The next step is only going on a strike and I fully understand him not willing to do go that far.

In any case, not sure how anyone can put any blame on him and he fully kept his end of the bargain imo.

As for the club, the whole thing looks like a mess atm. The less I say, the better. I even understand not paying such amount in one go, it is a huge amount of money after all and there is not a single club who got close to paying it this summer. But then you move on and not dick around for the whole damn summer ffs. As you might end up with only dick in your hand.

Anyway, 3 more days to go, let's see what happens... We are still making noise if nothing else.
Aye, indeed.

There's still life in the old dog (thread) yet, so let's see where these supposed talks take us.

Same thoughts. But if we want to buy their player, surely it’s the United officials who would fly there? Why would they come to us? I don’t know if this makes any sense but that’s how business are usually conducted in the business world

It's Duncan Castles lads. He knows feck all.
For someone who knows "feck all" he somehow spesifically knew about high ranking United officials who he rightly claimed were Woodward and Judge discussing the possibility of signing Dembele long before others reported it...

I could have guessed we would have been in for Dembele. In fact I was saying as much on this forum a while back in this summer. I too, know feck all. He's been consistently wrong about Sancho all summer.
