I foresee a smug and nauseating prick in your not-so-distant future.
It has already started. We are all in this group text for PL Fantasy. My Boss is Liverpool and I have a Spurs co-worker and 2 Chelsea. They have all been yapping. I told them I'm not going to work tomorrow because I need a mental health day. My Boss's reply : It won't be the last one this season. :(

Anybody thinkign we needed 2/3 quality additions or that the poor start was due to fitness....still think that?

Forgetting recruitment, for me this startign eleven is our best starting eleven.....but you look throughout the side, it is actually quality wise pretty good....consistentcy wise it is dreadful though. DeGea, Bailly, Shaw, Pogba, Rashford and Martial are ALL players that have been inconsistent throughout the last 2/3 seasons, thats half the side. You cant win trophies when half the side are liek that, ability or not. As many moments of woefulsness as magic dont win trophies. They are also players who cant do it when the chips are down, just look at the body labguage of half those players.

The Maguire....off field problems but after an average first season he has been absolutely diabolical this season. I like many have stated we so need a good partner for him....not sure he is good enough himself the more I watch him. Matic has played well once in the three games, today again though, looks like the player we saw for a long period of time, legs gone, over ran....can we rely on him for a whole season and are McTominay or Fred good cover for his role...no no and no.

Now on to recruitment!!!!!!!!!!! Our priorities for me this window were for the first eleven a new cb, a new dm and a new rw.....then competition and more quality squad wise for lb, am, st and lw

We are quite possibly signing not one player for the 3 positions we needed to imrpove the first eleven now.....but a lb and a striker to go with an am.....and also end of this window Jones, Rojo, Lingard, Mata, TFM almost certainly still here, Smalling possibly still here.......should all be gone....so should in my opinion two or three more I wont even name.

This is pretty much an exact rerun of the season after Mourinho won the Europa league and looked a good window away from challenging....had an awful window, lost the dressing room and board and was gone.....rightly anyway as wasnt the right manager for me. Only difference is Ole isnt causing friction....he should be.

Honestly dumbfounded that people on here don't know why people laugh after a bad incident. It's a clear sign of frustration like it's a bit of a sarcastic laugh either at someone or something.

How do you guys not know this?

Saved some too. If he sprinted to Kane he would've made it 7 for example.
    Oh behave.
His indecisive goalkeeping left us with a mountain to climb. That isn’t excusing Maguire or Shaw or a Bailly and doesn’t excuse our woeful midfield who were completely bypassed, but he has his part to share. A couple of TV saves doesn’t exculpate his mistakes, which helped put us on that back foot and led to this absolute disgrace of a performance.

If Ole smiles in his post match interview, he needs to be sacked on the spot.

Enough with the Jose virus crap. It was silly then, and it's silly now.

Oh come on. What's at fault is Maguire's obvious 2 errors in that.

Pogba was a disgrace for the 5th and 6th goals. Maguire for the first 2 goals. Bailly for the 2nd and 3rd.
Why is it silly? His attitude and effort stink. Do you not think that rubs off on team mates especially younger players who might be naive enough to look up to him?

Who was better though? Our defence deserved negative ratings. Midfield was awful, attack none existent. At least he got those TV saves. The whole team top to bottom was tragic.

It’s not, serious foul play has to be considered endangering the opponent, which clearly isn’t the case here.
Exactly. A clear foul with the only intention being to stop an attack isn't necessarily a serious foul. It's a yellow, but it wasn't dangerous unless it was done in a way to harm a player or was reckless in a way even without intent.

I don't see that. I just see a blatant attempt to stop a player by tripping him.

He was on Sky Sports during half time and he was fecking fuming over this disgrace of a performance.
But he said he couldn't comment on United, and then tried to but it was all inarticulate babble. A bit like our performance

No I don't. The fact that you're singling out Pogba for that characteristic (not that I agree) proves that it hasn't rubbed off on anyone hence why you're not labeling others with that same moniker. Otherwise he would be indistinguishable from the others regarding that attitude, and would therefore not lend himself to being labeled as THE virus.

Like logically it doesn't make sense to me.

The only players I’d give a pass to, and this is based on what I saw as I turned it off after 5, were Greenwood and Rashford. They’d both get a 4, everybody else would get a 1 including DdG.

Weirdly probably not a bad shout. Probably deserves it for popping Lamela anyway. Imagine how embaressed his family must be at going down like that.
I've picked him. It's a bit childish of me, hopefully not against the rules here, but I'm not interested in selecting anybody else on that pitch.

it was vicious and spiteful... that can be seen a serious foul play. but hey, i only refereed for five seasons
    Vicious and spiteful  awesome.

    But no.

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

Weird that it doesn't say anything about spiteful, and that you don't understand what serious foul play is, you refereed for 5 seasons and all.

There's no excessive force and he doesn't endanger the safety of the player, he sees that he can't get the ball so he takes him out. Is it cynical as feck? Obviously.

I see what you're saying, but unless it's a blatant mistake, you're kind of just blaming him for something that we have no idea would change under another keeper. I don't think you should blame a player based on that what if scenario. It should be based on actual evidence of a mistake.
