Don't agree with this at all, especially if his family are home. Its scumbag behaviour.

But for the Glazers I'd put aside my morals, feck those parasites and if some scumbag behaviour tenuously has a chance to scare them into selling then I'm all for it.
Of course I don't want his family hurt and I am not advocating for him to be harrassed. But it should somehow be made clear that he is not welcome at this club.

Ah now, a red label rag blaming Gary Neville. How many more years do we have to endure a clueless Woodward over transfers and contracts? Worse of all the owners in America probably don't know what a transfer window is.

Sadly United remain one of the worst run big clubs in the world.

The thick cnut hiring added security makes all the more sense right now...

He's lucky there aren't any fans in the stands because he might seriously be in danger if fans were there to witness this embarrassment

It's amazing that he is still in charge after failing again, again and again. No consequences whatsoever to doing as bad or worse a job as any of the managers he has fired.

The post-SAF era has in fact been the Woodward-era. More than anyone else, he's responsible for where we are as a club. Deserves every ounce of criticism levelled at him and more.

If I were him I’d be keeping a low profile over the next few days. I don’t know why the Glazers don’t just move him back to where he belongs and get Edwin in to take over the footballing decisions.

I feel sorry for everyone joining this club because of this clown. Even Neil Ashley, what a fecking job he has on his hands. I'm eager to see how they twist this, are we getting a DOF now? A huge panic buy a hope the fans just suck it up and forget about it? Will Ed be attacked by an angry mob of United fans?

Woodward do the honorable thing a feck off, and take the Matt Judge with him.

He needs a security detail to cover the next few days.
He is about to announce a 33 year old on big wages.
He has made a hash of the Sancho transfer.
No CB.
Dreadful transfer window - all while we have just conceded 6 goals.

If he cared about the club he would have instilled a DoF a long long time ago

If all this is true about security at Woodward's home, it's safe to finally say the Sancho deal is 100% off.
The moment we decided to buy Cavani and pay him £200k/week, the Sancho deal was off. No way can afford to pay 2 new players, £200k/week, each.

Woodward and Judge this weekend..

And just as Matt Judge walks away from Woodward, after being sworn at, Woodward decides to hire a security detail as he knows the storm which is incoming.
Tomorrow is going to be a very uncomfortable day for Woodward.

I honestly don't understand how he's still here. How can it be fun, enjoyable, or even bearable to have spent so long of your life being a figure of ridicule, derision and hatred.

The money is good, I'm sure, but he's set for life, surely at some point a voice in your head goes 'maybe I'm better off out of it'. He can't be happy.

The Glazer brothers don't care, as long as their dividend checks keep coming. Their full focus is on the Bucs, especially now that they have Brady and Gronk.

Of course not, but from a personal point of view.

Would you like to wake up every day going to a job that not only do you know, deep down, you're shit at, but that you're so shit at you're going to see your name all over the media being called out for how shit you are?

It would take a mental toll on me; god knows how it hasn't on him.

If Woodward is worried about being harassed, there's a very simple thing he can do...

Setting a reminder to himself to Google Edison Cavani before tomorrow

He obviously thinks he's amazing at it though... Its why he gets so offended when people question it

You'd have to, but surely, deep down, in the deep recesses of your brain, you know.
its a unique situation, usually the decision would be made for you in most jobs for this much failure. If he walked, the Glazers wouldnt have a clue what to do or who to ask. Remember, he kind of handed the club to Malcom, they are in debt to him (excuse the pun)

He has to be a scouser? Why else would anyone want to sabotage the club in the way he has?

The apparent problem with the way this club is run is that the people doing it only understand money. They don't see the world through any other lens.

I don't think it's deliberate sabotage, I just think because everything with them comes down to money they lack the personal touch.

What Gary Neville said, about the team taking a psychological hit because of the way the transfer window went, I doubt that they even thought of that.

I look at our squad and I see a bunch of confused and disillusioned players, who thought the club would move forward this summer and it hasn't. All the momentum and belief has drained away.

If Woodward wants to continue to run this club then he needs someone around him who can do the personal side, not just the money side. The most talented players on earth won't do squat if their morale is on the floor.

That’s the issue I have. It’s not even about getting better players on the pitch anymore but for the first time in ages, there was a positive atmosphere around the club. The penny pinching has destroyed all that. It’s ok to not be able to afford Sancho but when you can’t you move on. Even getting him tomorrow wouldn’t change the bad taste that’s been left by this mess of a window.

I agree with you. Sadly, the people at the top only see the world in pounds and pence. It probably never occurred to them that getting players in early, and integrated, would be seen as a sign of intent that'd lift the squad.

Very much so. Ed should thank his lucky stars there are no fans at the moment because it would not be Ole on the receiving end of the inevitable abuse. He has killed the optimism we had built up last season.

Yeah it’s something I talked about in many threads around here. The team’s morale is low because of the board’s incompetence.

Woodward does not understand the importance of getting your signings in early and bedding them into the squad. He also doesn’t understand the psychological boost that a new signing brings to the squad. It’s all about money to him and the board.
