Waiting for the "there will be no more transfer business from the club" from James Cooper.

Loan or nothing for me. We can't pay good money for him given the risk. He's made of glass.

So many conflicting reports on the social media Im actually confused. Are we gonna bite and do the permanent on the last second?

Once again, I know this. But United could for example in this hypothetical, agree to pay the loan fee “subject to medical”, which is what I said... fail the medical, no fee.
As I also said, it’d be impossible on a perma deal.
I’m sure there’s plenty of legal opportunities with a loan deal.
But if he fails the medical he has to go back to Barcelona? You don't expect him to stay at United and play?

A loan would have been acceptable but not arsed that even that hasn't happened

When something is that close and everyone involved is that interested it should still go through anyhow, doesn‘t it!? I mean there is still time.

Under a tree.
It was unlikely/off in the morning and then looked promising, I would wait until 11 before saying it's officially off, loans are easy to get done quickly if everyone can agree. This one strikes me as those very late type deals..

That's a shame, it would have been fun to see him here.

Understand why we didn't go for a permanent deal. Too much of a risk.

January is 3 months away, maybe we get something sorted then. Till then the trifecta of James/Lingard/Mata as backup to Greenwood.

It's a dodged bullet if we were considering the permanent deal. Absolutely stank of a panic buy

Why not extend
To have more control over his career by the time his contract ends. He's been poorly managed by Barcelona, and I wouldn't want to extend with that circus of a club either to be honest.
