Finally, somebody talking some sense! Wellnsaid sir!
Fred and McTominay didn't concede a completely unnecessary penalty and aren't a total liability

In this run of home league games Pogba's now given away 3 completely laughable penalties in the 6 games

That's not what happened with Leipzig and Arsenal games. He played in the cl, performed and then had his usual stinker in the league. Shouldn't let that happen again.
He played well vs Leipzig, so he won his place in the PL team. He played in the PL, and has now in my view, lost his place in the PL team and as such, playing tonight will have no effect on whether he plays on Saturday or not. So probably best to rest someone like Bruno or Fred tonight, so they're fresh for Everton, no?

or he doesnt play either of them. He doesnt deserve to be in the squad for now.
He was excellent against Leipzig, he was poor against Arsenal. This doesn't mean we banish him from the squad

Surely playing Pogba tonight against our CL group's whipping boys, thus preserving the legs of Fred, Bruno etc for Everton is the best course of action?

Watch us lose this and the return fixture, then scrape through against one of the bigger sides or plummet into the Europa

He wasn't shit against Leipzig. Far from excellent.

Anyway I dont want to see him in the team until he decides he wants to perform in every game.

So play Donny instead tonight and send Pogba to the reserves

Remember those lethargic performances in the Europa group stage? I think that's how this will go. Either that or we smash them and we will be talking about us being giants in champions league and weak in the league.

    Wan - Tuanzebe - Maguire - Shaw
    Pogba - Matic - VDB
    Martial - Cavani - Rashford
I like this and I understand the forward line is fluid but I’d prefer Cavani starting on the right and martial through the middle. It should be enough to win.it gives Bruno and Fred a rest. 70 mins for Cavani who looks way off the pace and 90 mins for martial who has to start against Everton and needs to get into the swing of things again. Take rashford off if we go a few ahead. I’m fairly confident.

It's crazy that we're playing in Turkey this evening and Everton at 12:30 on Saturday morning!

We have to use the squad well tonight.

No complacency, win this and we're almost there. Most of the lads have been kept fairly fresh lately with the squad rotations in the past 3/4 games so having to play against Everton so soon shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Fred, Bruno, Mctominay, Greenwood and Rashford all need to be rested for the Everton game.

There is no way they all play more than 60 minutes and we beat Everton with them having 6 days rest and us having basically 48 hours to prepare.

Use Rashford and Bruno as impact subs again like we did against Leipzig. If we're winning the game by a comfortable margin then we don't have to use them. I'd personally start Greenwood and Martial and possibly Cavani.

Rashy has a top scorer award to win, hopefully he gets 20-30 minutes regardless of the score.

Really dont like Pogba/Matic pivot but I rather play them tonight and not on saturday.

Rashy, Wan bissaka, Fred, McTominay, Bruno and Maguire to be fresh against Everton.

    Cavani to score a brace

It will be a fringe team that will be put out by Ole. I hope Henderson and Cavani can get a start along with DVDB. Pogba must get a start alongside DVDB and Mctominay must play the number 6 role. Ole must take this opportunity to try and play 2 number 8s alongside each other. We have never actually tried this under Ole and I think this is the perfect opportunity to try the 4-3-3 flat formation. Bruno should easily play alongside Pogba in the number 8 when called upon and so I feel Ole can test it out here. I hope he tries a few of these things. The 4-2-3-1 formation sucks and so does the diamond (provides no width in the offensive areas and so we start playing very defensively). Just go out there and enjoy and express yourself will always be Ole's call but for once I hope he does more than just that and experiments more. I shouldn't be surprised even if Pellestri gets a run out.

I hope Ole plays this teams and tests the 4-3-3 formation with Scott as defensive midfielder. These players need match sharpness and I'm sure they're players who will fight harder right now.

I do enjoy how you are on first name terms with everyone, bar Henderson, Mata and Cavani. Fair enough, Henderson and Cavani but Mata has been around for a long time now. Get to know him, put yourself out there. By all accounts he’s an absolute gentleman and you might even get a hug out of it.

We will win this and also against Everton if Carlo is stupid enough to attack us.

    I've gone with:

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Shaw
    Pogba Matic
    Mata van de Beek Martial
    Cavani

Hoping we can put the game to bed with this team and then sub off Wan-Bissaka & Shaw for Fosu-Mensah & Williams. Probably Martial off for James as well, then the other two subs I'm not particularly bothered about, maybe Mengi for Maguire. Would like to see Tuanzebe, van de Beek & Cavani see out the 90 minutes, but if Cavani isn't ready for that yet then maybe give Ighalo a run out if we're in the position too since he won't get much more of a chance before he leaves anyway. Too bad Telles won't be ready but I'm sure he'll play the return fixture so we can rest Shaw then.

Lindelof, Fred, McTominay, Bruno, Greenwood & Rashford all likely to come back in at the weekend against Everton.

Almost forgot about this match. Would be more up for it had we turned up for the Arsenal match.
Expecting a decent show and a defeat against Everton. Rinse & repeat.

Didn't realise this kicked off at 5.55 so missed the lineup prediction. So here's mine for reference:

    Henderson
    Wan Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Shaw
    McTominay
    Van de Beek Pogba
    Mata
    Cavani Martial

Subs: Fernandes, Rashford, Matic (plus Greenwood & Fred)

The point of a squad is rotation and it has to be key here, I know Rojo & Pellistri are playing the next reserve game so they won't feature here and Telles is still out, with that in mind:

    Henderson
    TFM Axel Mengi Williams
    VDB Matic
    Mata Pogba James
    Cavani

We can bring on the usual suspects around 60 to rescue the game if need be but we have given ourselves such breathing space already we can afford the above I feel
That line up is mental. How bad do you think IB are? They're still a CL team. Mengi? TFM? James? Mata? This team would lose.
