I think Georgia had around 200,000 to go about an hour ago which is still a lot, but not sure where Arizona are.
Yeah but those 200k were what was outstanding last night when they stopped counting. And counting theoretically restarted at 8:30am and 11am respectively in 2 of the key counties. Strange

Why do the pollsters get it so wrong or can’t they be bothered to actually to poll all the population and not just the affluent areas?

Why is there such a divide in voting between urban and rural counties? Does all this inbreeding and burgers make your brain go soft and turn you in to a Trump supporter?
Many of the rural voters are struggling financially and Trump provided them not with a way out, but more tantalizingly, someone they could blame for their problems so as not to feel guilty for their situation even if they had no reason to be. Trump's message of the "Other", his mission to divide is a time tested method of gaining the loyalty.

I'll answer this as have experience with the subject.

When it comes to polling you have to carry a weight on who actually goes out to vote. Will it see more young people, more college, more lower income, more unmarried mothers.

To even get to the position to carry a poll out, so much groundwork is needed.

Generally polls have been excellent here and with margin of error

It’s just staggering. The PhD’s written on this will make very important reading to understand the human mind.
Step 1 - ban all politicians from social media.
Step 2 - empathy training.
That'll be the Atlanta area votes coming in, 80k votes now

Collins declares victory
Dems should make a play to get her to leave the party.

We can't say yet whether they got it so wrong. This counting process is just super chaotic.

It's not so much of a conundrum. It probably shows the growing integration of minorities into the wider society. It is just normal that some of them fall for the same propaganda as many white folks.

More uneducated thumpers live in rural parts of the country. Comments like that don’t cause such behavior, they just illuminate facts on the ground.

The biggest mistake that people make time and again is assume that because X person is X race or from X cultural background they will automatically react in the same way as everyone else "like them". So when Trump puts kids in cages or calls BLM protestors criminals some people automatically expect Latinos or African Americans to all attend a massive group meeting where they all agree to hate Trump.

Rural America has a massive inferiority complex. They're stuck in their ways which have been taught to them by parents, grandparents, peers, and clergy.

Absolutely. I mean that itself is also a kind of stereotyping.

And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Somewhat true, but also keep in mind that these areas are often a lot poorer, and with worse services and higher unemployment. It's easy to understand why they feel left behind by the rest of America. That makes them easy prey for authoritarian populists like Trump.

If Georgia goes for Biden then I'll maybe forgive all the hellish stupid flights I've ever had to take from Atlanta Airport where for some reason I had to go from New Orleans > Atlanta > West Palm Beach > Atlanta > London
