It's wide open alright

Wide open for Liverpool to run away with it
Yeah, this Liverpool side is something else eh?

City haven't got a hope in hell of getting anything from this game.

It'll end 4-0 to Liverpool.

Leicester put five past them, if there’s another team that can it’s us... but like I said it could easily go the other way... if I was deluded I’d be sure of the win...
City look league 2 at the moment, so maybe 4 isn't so wild. City don't look like scoring one today though.

Are Liverpool that good or are City just bad? What's wrong with them? Ole would get crucified on here if we were playing like City have been so far.

Stupid having De Bruyne so far forward when the space is in midfield

Pep's signings are really trash.
It's the same Pep as always. He picks up the team with the most money, or best squad, often both. And then gets them playing very well, and is prcolaimed as a genius.
Then when it's time to rebuild them, can't.

It's really a testament to Klopp. Can play high press, quick football. Can play long ball football and can be solid defensively. All with the same 11 players playing. There's not way in hell that Henderson and Gini would be a league winning midfield under any other manager in my opinion. The only caveat is that Mane and Salah are going to be incredibly difficult to replace. Their abilities are what makes the style possible for me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; Sterling is average at best. Never in a million years the "world class" player some claim.

UK, hun?
Christ Neville has a fecking raging hard on for Liverpool today. They've hardly done much for so much gushing!

Honestly the way some were talking about Rodri when he signed for City you'd think he was the reincarnated Lothar Matthaus, he's just not that good.

This is all Liverpool. They're taking the piss a little with their lineup and playing those four attackers. It's working, though. Tons of width in that team. Think City will do well to keep this as 0-1 or 0-2.

Liverpool are playing well but overall I disagree. City are losing like this every other game to top sides these days. They looj absolutely toothless against these sides.

I'd wager it's more mental burnout from his methods. Pep admitted himself that's why he left Barca after four years. His methods are so intense that the players get exhausted.

It shouldn't even be a knock on him either, people seem so obsessed with long term managers that there's this stigma around shorter term ones.

I view him as a Pedro figure. Good player who benefitted greatly from playing in the best attacking system in the League/World for a couple of seasons. Still a good player mind.

Be interesting to see if any referees start actually penalising Liverpool for fouling at some point this season.

You'd think Klopp's boys would be burnt out if that was a thing. He has them working like animals. Yet one defeat aside and some sketchy tight wins, they look the same as ever today.

Matthaus is still alive!
