Fact is people like you gave the team no credit last season for the record in the big games because apparently it was the lesser games that was the 'truth'. This season its flipped, the record in the big games has been awful whereas the games against the lesser sides (Palace aside) has been excellent but now the 'truth' is the record in the big games

The idiocy knows no bounds
I gave the team & Ole plenty of credit pre & post lockdown last season. I’ve been “ole out” for over a year but I give him credit when it’s due. I’m not suggesting you check my posts because I don’t believe you’re sad enough to take the time to, but I gave him plenty of credit after the PSG & Leipzig wins this season. It’s not blind hate. It’s not even hate. I’ve just seen enough. I don’t think we’re going anywhere under him.

Just to put things into perspective.

City 0-0 United AWAY
City 0-2 Spurs AWAY
City 1-1 Liverpool
City 1-0 Arsenal

Chelsea 0-0 Spurs
Chelsea 0-0 United AWAY
Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool

Only Liverpool have been good in the big games.
Fixed that for you

United haven't been an attacking team for while, not even well coached in that regard although past managers where more criticized for it. So all in all there's a complete void of coaching and structure to play modern attacking football.

Cuz we had expectations. We dont have any expectations under Ole.
Its Utd there should always be expectation, regardless of manager, like every fan I hope he can get us challenging and winning things, but seems he very negative when pressure on

Sorry for not having a grip in the face of such stellar form!
Why are you relating that to our home form? I said that about you criticising our best signing in years who has basically carried us for 12 months because he didn’t have a great game. That does mean you need to get a grip, yes.

Some fans will not be happy unless we win every game convincingly. Its the modern fan unfortunately. A draw against City isn't a bad result, no matter how much whinging and negative spin you want to put on it.
Ah so you didn't read the OP

Playing against a better team we had roughly the same possession and more shots yet people are still moaning. Of course I'd rather we win, but a tie against City is a decent result...

we've been very up and down so far but picking at results like this is very childish, we're better of than last season, I'd rather the points than trying to keep supposed fans like you happy

He's not good enough. There's endless stats and negative records to show up for it.

And let's be honest it's only a matter of time until he gets the sack.

They are handling us much better. They just play even more cautious than we do.

You have got the likes of City and Chelsea letting us have the ball, and moving the ball cautiously when they have it. They have all got us figured out.

Don’t say that too loud, one of the Ole cult will report you for “not being a real fan”

Even for a counter attacking team, one goal from open play in six games at OT is a bit of a mad stat.

Boring alright but feck me Chelsea, Arsenal and City didnt come to play football.
It kind of shows how far we have come from to be fair.

It’s pathetic. Would be the worst season ever to be a season ticket holder in normal circumstances as it stands so I’m quite relieved we aren’t allowed to go in that respect. LVG’s last season was horrific but this home form is something else.

What’s frustrating for me is that all those games were winnable (bar the Spurs freak show). We weren’t really threatened defensively. It just felt we were too meek in offence to grab the win. That lack of hunger, courage and plan to win those games is what frustrates me and I feel part of that comes down to Ole.

This. Ole is a good at managing the egos and setting up defensively but the attacking process is way too rudimentary for a club like United.

We have consistently scored goals under Ole for a good while now. Its the defending thats letting us down.
Unless you believe in that Bruno saving Oles ass nonsense as if he isnt part of the attack.
Thats why Ole outers have to disect arguements like this because our overall league performances are actually up there with Liverpool for a good period of time now.

Another way to look at it is thus:

We are four points off first place in the league. If you look at the league table, the only team in the top half of the ENTIRE LEAGUE that we have not played yet is Liverpool, we have played Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton, Southampton, and the currently flying West Ham already, so there's going to be a chance for a run at some point

Jesus Christ. This forum is getting so predictable. 0-0 at home is never a result to celebrate, but this was a must not lose game against a team who haven't conceded in 600 minutes of league football and can spring huge tactical surprises which meant that we had to be pretty conservative but we still played 2 attacking midfielders alongside Rashford and Greenwood. They defended well, pushing Greenwood wider nullified him for the most part, and Rashford had a tough task closing down both Stones and Dias.

I'm not an OleOuter  , not even an Utd supporter. I actually sympathize with the man! Nevertheless even at your best, the attacking process seems too dependent on individual inspiration and motivation more than you'd like. You often lack ideas in opening up a defense when there's no Bruno or he's marked out the game. Ole isn't a bad manager but for Man United you need a GREAT manager, someone clearly above the average of your league.

Bruno is never marked out!
Not many sides these days are great teams. Bayern and Liverpool and that seems to be it and Liverpool havent been great in a while.
Maybe its the schdule, maybe teams cant put in the effort over 90 mins twice a week but individual quality is becoming more and more vital as this season goes on.
I cant see how City relying on KDB, Juve on Ronaldo, PSG on Neymar etc is any different that what Bruno brings to Utd.
Hell Liverpool have relied on Jota since he joined. Thats just the way football is at the minute. Its a madness

No I read the whole thread and my comment was in the context of the discussion that took place between my comment and the op. Is that what you do, reply to the op only and ignore the conversation that follows?

No fans and the unpredictability that comes with the season we have, it's no surprise none of the big teams have dominated each other this year. After Christmas I can see the intensity in games dropping even more.

All at home.

Won: 0

Goals scored: 1 (penalty)

That’s what playing for 0-0s gets you. Cowardly tactics. Ole out.

If you disagree that’s fine, let’s not resort to name calling or personal insults, yeah?
I disagree with you.

We're 2 points of top of the table if we win our game at hand against Burnely. We got Sheffield and Leeds coming up. Both are extremely winnable. We're very much in the title race going into the christmas holiday.

Let's support the team, no?
