I'm baffled with his style of football more than anything. Granted hes made them a bit more solid but I thought I was watching a Burnley vs West Ham game today with the amount of crosses going in. They rely on creativity on the wings but apart from saka and tierney the rest cant create anything.

All that hype with arsenal and arteta after the united game was overblown. We were absolutely atrocious and they relied on an individual error to win. I dont they were special at all. Still hate that result.

I mean I know there's a not a lot he can say in their current circumstances but his interviews are just the worst

Arteta winning two trophies and being an inexperienced manager is giving some grace with the media. If Brighton beat Southampton, Arsenal are 16th in the table. The heat will come if results don't pick up. You wouldn't be at all surprised if Burnley beat them at Turf Moor next Sunday.

He looks like he's given up in that interview. Sad to see and very worrying for Arsenal fans and players to see their manager look so defeated.

Why did he convince Xhaka to stay? Like did he not watch Arsenal at all in the past 4 years? The guy' s absolute donkey shit. Could have easily sold him to Hertha for 20-25mil since terms were apparently agreed and instead of going for Willian used that money on Aouar.

You can’t have the highest paid player sitting at home every week out of the squad it must drive the rest of the squad fecking mad.

Same would have happened to us with Alexis but luckily Inter took him.

As poor as he has been this season, I think their squad is bang average and any new replacement won't have them getting up to much without big investment.

We're 7 points ahead of them with a game in hand.

Even though they beat us earlier on this season and we're pretty shit.

They are appalling and Arteta must be close to the sack now

How many crosses did they put in today, as shit as they were, Willian put in some decent ones, but Auba doesn't feed off crosses? This is on Arteta.

Arsenal are in serious trouble. All not well behind the scenes and lots of very highly paid underperforming players who they can't get rid of. More problems there than Arteta.

Look, at least Auba finally got onto the end of a cross and put the ball into the net. That’s Arteta’s game plan, so at least the training is working.

Arteta sounds like a dictator holy feck.
All the noises evidence points to his man management being an utter shambles and the worst kind that treats people unequally. I remember the other week in the EL Pepe missed a final ball and he went mad, Willian done the same ten minutes later and he was clapping and encouraging him

He lost the dressing, he’s done if it’s true. When was a manager ever success when they lost the dressing room? None.

The main reason why Ole always bounce back after defeat is because he never lose the dressing room, players care, they like him and believe in him. It‘s down to manager to manage them properly.

I have said it before, Arteta has been so poor in managing his players and his squad. The way how he handled Guendouzi, Saliba, maybe Ozil and others are shocking. No players are improving under Arteta either, they were the same under Emery and some got worse like Lacazatte for example.

He probably would be sacked if he does not turn it around in the next month. I really do not know how we lost to him?

There's issues there that any manager would have but when a manager makes decisions repeatedly that everyone else can see are wrong then that's a major issue. Continually picking Xhaka is a prime example, everyone can see he's terrible but yet he still keeps getting picked which indicates stubbornness, arrogance and delusion from Arteta. Although they actually started the second half quite well (hardly a great achievement when at 0-0 at home to a team in the bottom 3), he gets no sympathy for the red card because he was the one who picked Xhaka in the first place.

He’s gotta go. But worrying thing for Arsenal is I don’t think there’s any manager out there who can sort the current mess the club is in. Combined with the fact that they barely have any money to spend, I can’t see what they’re going to do
