When are spoilers allowed in this thread?
According to Caf spoiler policy, as soon as the show has aired... Twitter is rife with spoilers so people should avoid the thread & any social media unless they’ve seen it!

By the way, there was a post-credits scene in this episode. I just went back for it as I didn't realise first time!

Not me. Not sure it quite worked but was fun all the same. Interested to see what they do next, assume we are getting a third season?

And the after credits scene was great too.

Just on the post-credit end scene - is that what the focus of season 3 is going to be? I couldn’t tell if it’s another series or the focus for this next year?!

I think it's another show. Maybe a short 3 to 4 episode thing leading into Mando.

I hope that’s the case. There’s fallout from this episode that needs resolving!

It literally was written in the end-credit scene......

The Book of Boba Fett. It's the Boba Fett series that Disney announced only this past week

CGI being just ok aside, that was flawless. The soundtrack was incredibly powerful and emotive. The choreography was a story in itself. It was a perfect demonstration of both Luke's mastery of his training and his maturity of character. Let's face it, it's the first true moment of actual SW magic since George Lucas' days.

I didn’t see any Disney announcement for a Boba series... obviously saw the title but with them dating it as a December 2021 release, same time as season 3, I wasn’t sure if they meant it’s part of season 3 or its own series.

I'm guessing that's it for the Grogu arc for a little while and they'll refocus the show on retaking Mandalore. None of us want to see yet another Jedi training arc, not to mention costing too much in cgi money to do lukes face for all the scenes.

As great as it was to see a fully developed Luke Skywalker going ham, actually think the best moment was Grogu touching his face. :(

I'm a bit concerned about the direction the show will take in all honesty, but they've raised the bar this season so I trust them. I just hope they don't take the heart out of the show and that to me has always been the relationship between the two of them.

OMFG, I cannot believe they went there. I was suspicious that:

it is going to be Luke, but I thought that more likely it is gonna be Ezra Bridge from The Rebels TV show. And then I saw the green lightsaber and it became clear who is the Jedi. Finally seeing Luke in God-mode was a joy.

Genuinely mind-boggling the extent to which this show has gotten me back into the SW universe after the horror shows that were episodes 8 and 9. Astonishing work from Favreau et al.

They've set the bar very high for the other shows that are scheduled over the next 2/3 years. This is easily the best Star Wars thing Disney have put out.

Brilliant episode. Looks like they tied off this arc nicely. I presume Bo-Katan and Mandalore arc would be the focus of Season 3. It's going to feel like a brand new series next season! Probably a new cast (except the Bo-Katan crew) as well as I don't see Greef, Dune, Shand, Fett an even Gideon and Pershing et al returning regularly.

S2 was arguably better than S1 despite starting off worse. The final run in were all great episodes.

Also, aside from all the holy shit excitement. How good was Pedro Pascal in those last few moments?

I love how cartoonishly evil Gideon is. I was fully expecting him to start twirling his moustache at one point.
A nuanced villain is great, but sometimes you need a good moustache twirler!

To be honest, I actually think Moff Gideon is the weakest aspect of the show. He's pretty bland.

I was in denial when I saw the color of the lightsaber, racking my brain trying to think of who all had one.

“Surely not...”
