Premier League Gameweek 14

No offence but when did our fanbase become such bottlers? Lets see us and Spurs fall away before we start the coronation process.
Don't know if bottler is the word here, maybe call me a spineless cnut instead? I've seen enough to know neither us nor Spurs have the consistency/ruthlessness this Liverpool team does (Spurs are efficient with their chances but Jose's penchant for going defensive after taking the lead will cost them points). If you think we have an actual chance for the title then fair enough, right now the only thing backing that claim up is the table which is important to be fair. But looking at the fixture list, squad situation, and confidence boost in this Liverpool team I don't see how anyone couldn't place them as 90% favorites right now.

We really need to beat Leeds now, tomorrow is going to be one hell of a game..

We really need to sort our finishing out. Our GD is appalling considering the amount of chances we have.
We actually score a lot of goals. Its having to win 3-2 every week that kills it.
If anything its made us consistent, we cant stat pad very often and bluff it

Liverpool will walk this league again and it's sad because we've now the squad to properly challenge but feel under current management we'll come up well short again.

i think we're still a level below them unfortunately

Good. They’ve deserved a good thumping for some time, a rabid bogey side that thrive on the Crystanbul torment whenever we play and we’ve wiped out that disgusting villa GD tally too. feck off Palace.
That's 6 away wins in a row for Liverpool against Palace, the bogey was long dead before today's trimming.

We miss a few sitters pretty much every game. We should have been out of sight against Sheffield United.

Five years at the club, complete buy-in from everyone at the club, squad fine-tuned and unbelievably well-coached.

That’s why Liverpool are so formidable. Other clubs not in the same place.

Thats a bit too strong now!
They scored 7 today, thats an achievement but they have also conceded a shit load of chances over the last 3 or 4 games so they arent untouchable and they arent really these heavy goal scorers when they are playing well.
Lets stay within touching distance and see what happens at Anfield. Its far too early to be so hysterical.
And its not even today, our fanbase tends to fold to any decent performances from our rivals. We treated Chelsea like Brazil 70 for 3/4 of last season and were told we had no chance
of catching them

Mane, get rid.
I remember that now that you mentioned. Must be why he was sulking on the bench. Ruthless but just of Klopp to hook him after that though.

Most teams do but we do score a lot. We shouldnt need to score 4 every game to get our GD up!

Loving the bitterness from certain 'fans'.

Liverpool only won the title last year because of VAR.
Liverpool only won the title last year because of COVID.
Liverpool are only winning the title this year because they can have fans in their stadium and others can't.

We need to be realistic, accept that Klopp has a knack of getting decent players (Henderson, Salah, Robertson etc) to play like world beaters and who fit into his style of football. Man Utd have consistently overpaid for players who have huge egos, are not team players and probably not even Ole's choice of player.

Rebuilding needs to start at the top, bring in a Director of Football who will work with Ole to identify the style of football required, decide upon a formation and build around it.

Imagine Pool winning twenty and having 6 big ears. Fook you, leeching cnuts, your fooking accountant and all the clueless managers that you have hired. Unfookingbelievable.
Give the Norwegian time and hundreds of millions maybe he turn out to be like Klopp!.

I just don't see how Liverpool are so good. It's very strange phenomenon and one in which I think Liverpool fans probably felt when some of our poorer sides (2010 for example) won the league

Not conceding early and late would help that. We always need to come back from behind and then when you think maybe we can pad that GD we will miss chances and then concede a stupid goal. We need to be completely ruthless up front and concentrate at the back.

City may win, but that side looks pretty ordinary to me, very average.

No no, it’s gone forever. Just like our 20 league titles will disappear automatically if Liverpool get their 20th.

I find it pretty weird whenever I read someone claiming that Liverpool winning 20 will undo what Fergie had done, I mean what kind of logic is that?!

That’s the league tied up for Pool can’t see anyone beating them this season..

Jesus  a bit reactionary no ? Were you still saying that when they were thumped 7-2 by Villa or do you change your mind every game ?

Especially considering we were trailing 7-18 before Fergie won his first title.

They've got the best GK in the league, the best FB's in the league and arguably the best front 3 in Europe. What's not to see?

Oh i agree but maybe that comes into play in the second half of the season. It doesnt help when 80 percent of our home games against top sides who fecking park the bus. Hopefully the second half of the season has tired sides who have nothing to play for come to OT.
Before today we were 7 goals scored behind Liverpool despite only scoring 1 goal from open play at home. This season is ridiculous.

No, I said they would win the league again at the start of the season, they just get it done no matter what no one’s going to beat them let’s be honest..

What we didn’t need was Firmino finding form. Now they have no weak links, and Thiago a couple of weeks from returning.

I am still seething at losing at home to Palace and Arsenal. When you look at the away results, beating the media favourites, WHU, Everton and Southampton it is ridiculous at we aren't in an even better position.

Yeah but doesn’t surprise me with so many hysterical fans nowadays. I mean they were only 2 titles behind anyway. If anything SAF had no right to equal their record when United were 11!!! titles behind before he won his first with United.

Noone is saying it will undo. What people are saying is that them scousers will become undoubtly the most decorated club in England and one of the most decorated in the world. And it fooking hurts.
